Give them another week, it can take 2 weeks sometimes. You can add some mycorrhizae to help.

Hey TheRipper, that’s hard to say because a few details are missing: * Which germination method are you using? * What medium are you growing in? (Soil, coco, hydro, …) * Or did you plant the seeds directly into the soil? * What type of cannabis are you growing – photo or auto? * What are your environment stats? Are you using a tent (indoor) or growing outdoor? * What’s the room temperature and humidity? * … There are many factors that influence germination success. In my experience, seeds usually pop within 24–48 hours, depending on the germination method. If planted directly in soil, it typically takes about 3–5 days. If you can give us more info, we can be more specific. Good luck with the rest of your grow and best regards!"

You don't have to worry about rot for 10-14 days. At that point, you can inspect to see if it was a failure to germinate or if it germinated then failed to sprout. Better to be safe than sorry... be certain of failure before you dig around, because once you do that, it's definitely over, lol. i've seen a taproot get stuck circling a shell - basically tied itself in a knot, never drove downward and couldn't find water. Weird shit can happen. If you see germination but a failure to sprout it could be any number of causes.. maybe, planting too deep... tamping down the medium too hard... could even be some dud seeds. I bought 2 10-packs from seedsherenow. I never have sprouting problems. I barely got a 20-30% germination rate. They likely stored the seeds poorly because they were dated 2024. I have feminized seeds that i made from 5 years ago that still sprout ~100%. I don't even store them properly, so they must have really fucked up. if you get more than one batch from the same source with poor germ rate, stop shopping there.
