That’s whorled phyllotaxy, same as my profile image, which is a Quick One from RQS. It makes for a beautiful plant and there is nothing to worry about. Usually, cannabis exhibits opposite phyllotaxy, with two branches emerging from each node, and later in life, alternate phyllotaxy, with one branch per node, going back and forth between sides. With whorled phyllotaxy, with three per node, the sets of three that come out “flip” or rotate 180 degrees with each new set. First three come out, then the next three come out rotated 180, then the next three rotated 180, and so on.

It’s a trifoliate mutation (triploid) meaning 3 leaves instead of 2 Not a problem Can grow bushier with more bud sites May look a bit weird early but often returns to normal Just let it grow normally

Its common mutation named tricotyly Its not triploid But could become bushier and yield more, cause of the extra internode. Not a bad thing🇧🇴🇧🇴🇧🇴

Hey Natrona! I totally feel you six weeks of struggle is seriously tough and frustrating. That deep dark green color and the heavily clawed leaves (“clawing”) are strong signs of nitrogen toxicity combined with significant root stress. I actually ran into the exact same issue once with my F1 Titan from Royal Queen Seeds you’re trying to do everything perfectly, but in the end, it’s just too much. Watering daily in such large 18-liter pots leaves the roots with barely any oxygen, which blocks nutrient uptake no matter how good your pH is. My advice: stop feeding every day immediately and let the pots dry out completely until they feel super light. The roots really need that oxygen reset right now to recover and start functioning properly again. Happy Growing Growmie🌱
