Can anyone tell me what the discoloration on the large leaf in the two o'clock position in the last picture is? Is it indicative of some nutrient issue or is it simply a genetic defect? It doesn't seem to be hindering the growth of the plant. Curious and wanting to learn.

Hello ! It's genetic , I saw that in other diaries and generally you've got some leaves with "clear" parts but it does not affect the grow or anything. Hope it will help you 😁👍

We just grew this from growers choice. We had a few leaves do this. It almost looks “scale” like? Our gals grew out of it, we had an issue of one foxtailing CRAZY, we have a kind led and we were adjusting the intensity. Careful with temps, you should be solid now that summer is outta here! Enjoy your grow👍🍀

Keep an eye on it. As long as it does not spread, I would not worry. Sometimes that kind of things happen. Monitor your pH, both the runoff and what you feed the plant, sometimes pH fluctuations is responsible for weird foliage symptoms.

Hi @Sctanley007! My bet is that something (mostly your fingers/nails) harmed the leaf a few days ago. When growing, this slight injury has become more and more visible. Nothing to worry about, you're certainly going to tuck this leaf anyway when doing your first pruning. However keep a close eye onto other leaves, if the problem spread, then I was wrong, and we'll need new pictures & informations to refine the diagnosis. Hope this will help, keep us up-to-date and happy growing 👊
