Keep the leaf. The more you cut the less it grow. You can traine her i usually don't anymore other then applying a technic that force lower shoot to catch up to the top... I don't defoliate i just remove the sucker around fliwering time and during the first weeks of stretch. Get nicer bud. Screen of green is fine if you want to be triming all day. I know i don't so ibaim for big buds without defoliating
