Time to defoliate?

Alright so this autoflower sprouted on the 11th last month, making her 29 days old. At this point should I consider any defoliation or should I wait? Up until now I've just been doing LST and leaf tucking but I'm thinking she's about ready to stretch? Any advice is appreciated!

Hey Burntjalepeno420, she’s looking nice and healthy for day 29! Since it's an autoflower and you're already doing a great job with LST and leaf tucking, I’d suggest being very selective with defoliation right now. She’s definitely heading into the stretch, so you want to keep as many solar panels as possible to fuel that growth. I’d only snip off a few of those larger fan leaves if they are absolutely shading a lower bud site and can't be tucked out of the way, or any leaves right at the bottom that are touching the soil. Keeping the airflow open in the middle is key, but don't go overboard; autos can be sensitive to heavy pruning during the transition to flower. Just a light cleanup to ensure the light reaches those inner nodes is plenty for now. Happy Growing Growmie🌱

I would leave the leaves on and not take them off due to stress; later on, the energy reserves accumulated in the leaves will come in handy during ripening when the plant draws nutrients from the leaves for the further development of the buds due to the lack of external feeding during flushing. The leaf is the plant's "lung," let them breathe, and it will thank you later. :)
