Week 7 SCROG vs Defoliation questionI'm in the middle of week 6 of flower, both strains are expected to finish at 8 or 9 weeks. Plants are crowded. Buds aren't as big as I was expecting. I'm not sure if I should leave the SCROG canopy to boost the crowns, or defoliate to get more light to the lower bud sites.

Removing of Big Leafs in Flower Phase ????Does it make sense to remove large leaves in the flowering phase to give the plant the opportunity to send more energy into the flowers or should you leave the larger leaves on because the plant also photosynthesises through them.

Can I defoliate lightly during flower after week 3?My plant is doing very well however the fan leaves having gotten a bit much. I'm about to go into week 5 of flower and I'm wondering if I can remove a few fan leaves to help lower humidity and increase light penetration to the other bud sites?

Defoliate?Is it too late to give these girls a hair cut? I’ve heard you don’t want to do this in flower stage as it may shock the plant and eliminate necessary mobile nutrients stored in leaves. Also does anyone have tips on an easy way to do this with a scrog net or should I remove it ?
