Sybariteanswered grow question 5 years ago I usually remove big shading leaves a day before triggering, then at weeks three and five in bloom, but it usually depends on the plant. I think these will respond well, as mine already look quite bushy, but I'm doing scrog and looks like I may have more space to let them spread out. I also do "lollipopping" a day before triggering and throughout the rest of the grow if necessary, mainly to promote air flow to reduce the risk of mould/mildew and increase light availability for lower buds. I remove just enough to see the pots below through gaps and not shade lower buds, but leave enough leaves to catch the light. I found that long, red petioles are often a good sign that the leaf may need removing.
