Upon the start of week six, I have noticed some bud sites... Is it ok to trim off the huge fan leaves to allow more light to get through?

Yes a long as you’re not stripping her down. If the stems are still flexible enough you could consider LST. But be aware that some plants could not react positively to the stress and it could delay the harvest

What do you guys look for when it comes to harvesting? I have a jeweler's loupe but my hands are too shaky to use. Was thinking Yellow Marker was getting close since her pistils are receding into her buds and she is nice and fat. But I definitely don't want to cut her down early.

I’ve read that you shouldn’t use nutrients right away because it may cause nutrient toxicity. However my nutrient instructions start on week 1, so I assume it’s ok. Does anyone have any suggestion as to when I should apply nutrients to the water? I’m growing in a 3gal pot.

I dont know about the defolation in the next week (third week flower) i really have the urge to get rid of all the fan leaves to get more air and light to the buds under the leaves but on the other side there is lots of info that i shouldn't do it, that i get more leaves from it

I'm thinking about topping my Dr. Grinspoon in order to keep her in a short height from 60cm. But im worrying about the time she needs to recover from topping, which is important time for her very long flowering period. What would you recommend? Topping or any tips on better LST?

most synthetic nutrients companies have a recommended dosage per week. at different stages of growth. Other growers say to use half strength of recommended dosage. Which should I follow.

I tried Advanced Nutrients feeding calculator. 30L reservoir full of tap water (130ppm) and, in total, 120ml for both Connoisseur A+B, and 60ml for each of the 3 additives. I did exactly what they suggested and measured EC after mixing up well. Is it normal to have this crazy EC?

What do you think the issue is? I’m using 900w Viparspectar full spectrum (vege only at this stage) LED lights at over 100cm (36 inches). There is a key nutrient that must be used from day 1 if you want your plants to handle 18 hours of direct intense light. What is it?

To top again? Or not to top again? That is the question. I'm working in a 2x4x5 tent so my height is limited. Not sure if I should flip now, or top the two mains again and flip at the end of this week? First photo grow so this is just one of many. Thanks fellow growers!
