Any advice to help spread this canopy out or keeping them from overlapping the other plants? I don't want to buy a new light, should I just move this one (300w) up and move the plants a couple inches out? Start bending different directions? Trim something? Add a smaller light in?

All you need is a little patience and let them grow outward another week or two then flip them to flower once most of the net is filled. depending on how pliable the branches are. or what you could do since the plant is not that grow into the newt is lift it up move the pots out more evenly spaces in the 4x4 section. if the branches are over laping you could try a sort of super copping to get them to go in the direction that less intervening with the other plants. But i would just pull them out form the center and more on the corners of the light. you could also raise the light up a little and that will help the canopy grow out more even and the less intense light will help it stretch some. i run my lights all the way at the top of the tent and let them find their way. take a look at my scrogs you should be able to learn a thing or two looking through the pictures and the progress through the weeks. i do it a little differently with one plant. so i understand you frustration 4 plants is a little trickier to fill it evenly in my opinion. but having the patience to scrog a single plant is no easy feat either.

Bom dia...

You’re growing 4 different varieties. They are probably growing at different rates. You’ve topped them already and they have recovered fine. Wait another week or two and put them into flower. Tuck what you can under the net until then. No need for anything extra. Just let the plant grow, you’re on the right track.

Needed proper spacing before they grew through the scrog. At this point to fill in gaps, you may have to prune growth where it is already filled in to allow the rest to grow in. You can shift the whole scrog and all four plants together i guess? but to space them out you'd have to carefully raise that scrog, untangle each, and spread them out so there's even amount of growth expected by the plants... or at least relative to your guess about how fast each is growing... a slower plant should be given less space. All you can do here is keep training stuff to fill and prune off the congestion where the plants are already growing into each other. If the plants aren't weaved under the scrog and have just grown through it, i'd carefully raise the scrog and reposition the pots. if it's tangled beyond that, make do with what you have. You only need to fill about 1/2 of the area and then the 3+ weeks of vege growth after flip to 12/12 will be more than enough to fill in the rest. Check out my 2026-1 at flip. I also have progression pics, so check 4 weeks after flip and scrol through first handful of pictures to see it fill in. The plants basically fill up ~9 squares, then fill in the 14 sqares around those 9 in the time after flip. *the target is 32-35sq ft, not 50 sq ft of that 1/2 of tent. you can see the area they fill in as expected. How much space to expect them to fill in can vary a bit.. not all plants grow the same and not all growers provide for the same growth rate. there will be a learning curve to consistently implement it. Do your best.. when you see a slower plant, try to shift the pots to compensate before they get tangled with scrog etc... whatever works... I also train such plants for fewer colas so the slower growth is more focused compared to the rest of the plants and it can generally keep up better.
