When lightning strikes, it tears apart the bond in airborne nitrogen molecules. Those free nitrogen atoms N2 nitrites then have the chance to combine with oxygen molecules to form a compound called nitrates N3. Once formed, the nitrates are carried down to the ground becoming usable by organisms. Will it react with the oxygen in the air spontaneously, the answer is no. The mixture is chemically stable indefinitely. A mixture with air near the release point can be ignited, but if this does not happen then when its concentration gets below 4% it will be unable to carry a flame. A nitrite (NO2) is a nitrogen atom bonded to only two nitrogen atoms. Very strong bond. A nitrate (NO3) is a nitrogen atom bonded to three oxygen atoms. Weaker bond

Mid week check in with grow issue (mostly on the Future #1 and Future Island - other strains in my grow room). Will post for feedback. Held of on any nutes this week as I try to get my grow issue under control. Looks like either calcium or potassium or both. I initially bought some lime and added that to some well water instead of the RO water I had been using. I also fully flushed out all of them in order to ensure that I didn't have any lingering issues. A little unsure how it got to this point as I have used RO in past grows. My RO is barely 6.0 ph and the well is well over 7...closer to 7.5. I had not changed my diary's ph since veg since I think I had mixed up the reading between the RO and well water. Either way, I plan to feed them all well water and balance the ph to 6.5. Except for some of the leaves showing some stress, the bud development is looking very nice. I plan to ease back into a more reserved nute blend later this week. Trying to get the humidity under control but with the excess heat the humidifier gives off it has been a bit of a struggle. Going to set up the unit on a timer so it dehumidifies at night where there is less heat in the room. Plant #1 - Continued fattening of the bud locations as well as more turpentine development. Looking good. Plant #2 - no more stretching, bud development is coming along just lagging behind a bit.

Hey now, this week went pretty good, the buds are about done bulking up, and just waiting on the trichomes, I was really hoping she would be about ready, but I think she needs another week to week and a half total. The buds are rock hard, and super sticky. I have no clue what she will yield because the colas are not that thick, but there are definitely alot of them. I plan to squeeze her into rosin, and hopefully I can break the 25% mark for the first time with her, but we will see. This entry covers days 23-31. There is a timelapse of this past week, I hope you watch! I upped the nutrients DRAMATICALLY! I was quite concerned, checking on the plants multiple times a day checking for signs of nutrient toxicity. Luckily, all was good this week. In part due to upping her nutes, she grew so much! I can't believe how many more leaves she has. This week was the first week of some bondage for this girl. This was my first time performing that act, so I was nervous and made sure not to hurt her developing nodes. I tied her down in two spots at first, and in a third spot at a later date.

Transplanted and topped today. I always transplant and top at the same time as new shoots equals new roots! Maximize your grow! The roots are looking amazing for this transplant. I made another coco perlite and gaia green mix. This time with a 1:2 ratio of the 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 because I will be flipping to flower the week after the plants have recovered from topping. On transplant I use a mycorrhizae powder to reduce transplant shock and aid in nutrient uptake and root development. They still need some nitrogen to support them during the stretch but the added phosphorus helps with the stretch along with potassium to setting buds. I also installed my first layer of trellis to weave the plants in early. At the end of the week I got 2 autos and wanted to see what I could do with them so I planted them and then also got rid of one of the Caramel Creams (C.C) because it was lagging behind the other one a little to much.

Unfortunately my digital timer was defective and made the flowering phase delay by 2 weeks. From one side, this delay allowed them to stretch a bit more. On the other side, it made me start giving bloom nuts with bad timing, thinking the bloom phase was already started. In other words, I gave bloom nuts in the last 2 weeks of veg. This means I’ll have to give them “week 3” bloom nuts for two more weeks, maybe reducing by 50% the B-52 and Big Bud dosages (they could be a little too much). Let’s now talk about the lady: well, she’s growing like a monster: 73cm!!!! She is the biggest of the grow room. She’s been growing 7-8 cm every day in the last days. That’s impressive! Woohoo, I love sativassssss! They will make you feel like a king, and they will be your queens 👸 By the way, sativas are WILD, and they make you sweat before showing their pistils. That’s what’s happening now. As well as the two Euphoria, they’ve not shown anything but a small pre-flower (not even a pistil for the moment). We’ll see in the next days. hey guys so my welsh brother sent me some daffodil seeds called FTB1 from the Fast Buds company, and if i'm honest with you i'm so happy to be growing next year's autos, always been a dream of mine to grow the unreleased genetics, let's see if they sprout, i'm a bit nervous because they came unwrapped in the mail you know ... let's see. alright so first thing that happened is my propagator broke so i had to fix it up best i could with some cling film then threw it in the bathroom in the sink basically lol, day one many of the non test gens cracked and were growing, and fbt1 didnt yet, and i was like oh well, it was a long shot, it came loose in the mail, and it breaks my heart. Day 2 it had cracked and day 3 it had shot through the cube, check out the cookies week you can see the root sticking out from the bottom already, in the end it's definitely some strong gens and i cant wait to see it grow !

Day 43 Watered them with feeding but a bit less than in Chart. Ppm is still high but because I got bio-fertilizer I think it should be okay 👍🏽. I also set the light from stage 7 to stage 9 so far the plants seem to like it. Will give an update on day 45. Day 50 Trying to fix the overfeeding. looked good Day 53 Still a bit overfed. Reducing the feed. I’m trying water without minerals next and will see how it is going.

Harvest day for super lemon haze, fuck yeah!! This strain with 50% the nute dosage levels, did amazing compared to previous SLH grows. Bigger, denser buds, just less lemon citrus smell. I'll update in 7-10 days with dry weight and smoke test. Thanks you for following this grow, I hope you liked it 👽🌳💚 Nov 15 - dry weight of 76 grams, minus a gram for test smoke. This little plant did pretty well for being a runt that struggled to grow in size since she was cut as a clone and rooted. Running at 50% nutes levels, I feel, was a good thing. The smoke is smooth, with a light lemon citrus taste and smell. It burns well, evenly throughout the joint and has a nice ash (medium gray/white). Still my favorite strain and I will grow again!
