Chopped her two days into week 14. What else. Buds. There are a lot of them. And they are quite large. And they look like they will require little effort to trim. What more can I wish for? I am a very happy man. Upd 1: Trimming is SO SIMPLE! Not much sticking out to begin with, because of the amazing bud structure and me plucking most bud node fans. Solid nugs which are not bothered by anything, so pulling smaller sub-bud fans is very simple too, while the buds are what I would call moist. I'll call this Moist Trim 😄 ✂️✂️✂️ Went for the best trimming tools available on the market (well at least my research concluded so) and LOVING every minute of trimming with the B-500SRF. Why would I or anyone else use something less suitable or less comfortable for such a delicate and long job is beyond me, except if you cannot afford one right now, in which case I wish you to experience it one day. Fiskars are also very good in therms of the blades, coating and cutting ability and precision, but the spring is just too stiff, like way, way to stiff for something that is to be used for hours on end. One might argue that such spring force helps overcome resin buildup, but please just rinse your instrument regularly in an appropriate solvent (ethy, iso, whatever — consider you instrument materials as well) and wipe it after. Why would you let significant amounts of resin to accumulate on such a gentle and precise tool? Kinda defeats the purpose?

(Days 15-21) (Day 21) Everything is looking really good this week. I got my MH hooked up and dimmed to 250w. Plants are responding very well. Not a single sign of yellowing and plants are all a nice healthy green. I covered up the transparent solo cups with some newspaper as the roots are starting to pool around the bottom of the cups. I’m going to transplant everything into 2gal pots with my inoculated 50/50 coco blend sometime next week. There is a nice layer of mycorrhizal fungi starting to coat the surface now. Blackberry breath #1 is still looking oddly deformed still but I am concluding it’s genetic. Going to be trying this ‘Boogie Brew’ tea stuff in the next few days as well. I’m pretty sure the leaf discoloring I saw that one day was from using unstable RO water. I am making sure to stabilize all water with rain/snow/brita before watering. It seems to have cleared up in a just a few days of proper water. I didn’t get around to getting a c02 canister this week but I will grab it at the same time I get those 2gal nursery pots. I’m shocked at how well the air pump is helping the bbb#2. It is always the perkiest plant in the tent and despite being a runt, it’s already outpacing most of the others in terms of new growth. I guess air is an often overlooked factor when growing. Hopefully the coco blend will help get things a little more aerated when I transplant. Been thinking I’m going to just veg until they all show sex and then flip them. (Day 17) I gave my first pest/mold prevention spray today. I then raised the light all the way up to the top of the tent for a few hours. Plants responded well and no spots, burn ect. I’m also going to give my first top dressing today. I’m using my new organic dry amendments scratched into the surface of the solo cups with some added promix as a layer of mulch. I don’t want to see any yellowing at all in veg this run. I fucked up hard last time so I’m going to make sure it doesn’t happen again.

Buds are getting denser, stickier and stinkier this week. Defoliated a few leaves from each plant throughout the week. Watered every 2 days with a 1/4 gallon to each. They got a mild compost tea beginning of the week to boost the microbial life and their final top dress towards the end of the week. Cantaloupe haze needed a good flush brought runoff from 2000 ppm to 1100ppm will continue to monitor.

This weeks been hot and dry. I've been doing everything I can to keep humidity up. I havent been feeding as much but lots of watering. Some defoliation but not very much. The bud sites are plentiful & numerous. The top sites have long pistols so I expect her to have large swelling buds. The strawberry gorilla seems to crave lots of sunlight so to say so keep the LED near max for best results! Check back next week to see just how fast she grows & remember its 4:20 somewhere!!!!

The trichomes on the Runtz are all milky and I'm getting some amber on the sugar leaves, I think the end is near 😁 The G13 is looking great and smelling wonderful, the buds are getting heavier and same for the GDP

Die extrem hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit, verursacht durch die vielen Regen dieser Woche hat auch bei ihr Spuren hinterlassen. Ich musste eine daumennagelgroße Stelle aufgrund Budrot säubern. Der Ventilator lief zwar die ganze Zeit im Folienzelt, aber oszillierend, ich habe auf Dauergebläse direkt auf den Haupttrieb gestellt (Etwas ernten möchte ich schon noch.). Die Luftfeuchtigkeit war teilweise nachts bei 91%, der Ventilator kann es auf 74-81% herunterdrücken. Es sollen zwei regenreiche Tage kommen, danach solle wieder wärmer werden und damit höhere Temperaturen und auch hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit. Ansonsten ist sie auf dem Höhepunkt der Blüte, nur die kleinen unteren Buds sind noch im Wachstum. Der Duft ist stark und sehr süßlich geworden, die Buds werden harzig. Auch um Schimmelbildung zu minimieren habe ich die Wasserversorgung sehr eingeschränkt, sie wird von nun an auch ohne Dünger für die letzten zwei Wochen auskommen. Wenn sie es bis zur Ernte in ca. zwei Wochen schafft, ist noch eine gute Ernte für Outdoor zu erwarten. Aber bis dahin kann viel passieren. Wünscht mir viel Glück, ich kann es diesen Sommer gebrauchen. --- The extremely high humidity caused by the heavy rainfall this week has also left its mark on her. I've defoliated a little as I go. One of the watermelon candy has a flat stem (Fasciation) I've been trimming the leaves as they are growing in abundance on the affected branches. The black orchid smells so good it's very pungent and captivating, I'm really looking forward to trying it now.
