Another easy week, weather has been beautiful! Lot’s of ☀️. They have been very thirsty as a result, I was able to get three waterings in this week. Just keep bringing them in and out of their pop up greenhouse daily. Started to taper down some of the feeds, two plain oh waterings and one feed this week. I don’t really “flush” but I do taper down to just ph water for the last few feeds. Happy growing folks! 🇨🇦❤️🌱😎💨

Training still going well. Top is pretty even with some slower lower branches I may remove. Have a mite problem so I introduced 5 ladybugs that immediately went to work on the soil and leaves. Watering when dry but may end up transplanting into new soil if the bugs keep on bugging. Continued training a bit and decided to defoliate and take off some of the lower branches lacking growth. Continuing to water when dry while preparing to add more nutrients for flower production. Hoping she takes it well!

Die Pflanze wurde Mitte letzter Woche an Tag 66 geerntet. Getrocknet wurden die Blüten 6 Tage lang bei einer Luftfeuchtigkeit von 53% bevor sie nun ins Glas kommen. Getrimmt wurde die Pflanze trocken.

First day of flower 8/4/24. I defoliated, and set up a net to help buds to hold up and create an even canopy.

Very fast growth. Final comparisons of germinating ~10 seeds. Tropicanna Poison on Top Left is 2nd fastest growth so far right behind Apple Cup (Apple Fritter x Banana Butter Cups) by Robin Hood Seeds. Apologies for the floor gap, I ran out of polyfilm and couldn't be bothered to get another large roll for such a small gap.

I went back and looked at my runoff and it was quite high. maxing out my TDS meter. I flushed em all with lots of liquid and now they all apear to be finishing up majority of the pistils where browning and whatnot. Will let me got for another week or so I think and no more feed just water. There is still some stuff remaining in the soil I got it down to 0.8ec from 4.0+ This grow has suffered some loss from it all but that's ok it was just for shits and giggles and the buds it producing are still nice looking. I also took the saved pollen out of the fridge from my Dinamed CBD Kush Auto Breeding Project - DCKABP lol, and I pollinated one branch on this plant. I marked it with a little red string to see if it would work or not. This was done last week when I missed its weekly entry. and to my surprise I now have a few swollen calyx on my GDP plant. I have no idea how fertile the pollen was as I mixed a lot of it with dried cornstarch and it seemed to do the trick for saving it. Now that I know this I will try this method again in the future and try and freeze the pollen for longer storage times. Using the toilet with a 16 watt led new veg station the kings kush failed so av got Orange sherbet n do si dos 33 germination planted last night in peat pellet better Fukin sprout 🌱 av been flushing over past week and gave a good n proper flush today I will leave them in the tent for maybe two weeks ten days to try get the best results a can get a took one down early wasent dried properly but of a waste to be honest but was still about 2 oz dry and av left some foliage n a couple of buds so I can see if it will start growing new leaves am in no rush a just want tae see it so week ten days on twelve n twelve then am Goni fill the tent ⛺️ and put a scrog in prepare for things to get messy as I will hav 5 different strains and monster cropped clones so this should be interesting stay tuned @chedderbob112

August 23: Just finishing up about 36 hours of darkness, then I'm going to wash the buds, then hang them. Harvesting a bit early due to time constraints but it looks good. The smell is very dank, not a tropical skittles smell, much more like wood glue as I've seen mentioned in other reviews, although I'm starting to occasionally catch a sweeter tropical scent as well. I wanted to leave it a little longer. There were still a lot of white hairs when I started the dark period, but a lot of them seem to have developed into swollen calyxes so I'm pretty happy. I was a little worried they were making seed pods after last time, but I broke one open and all that was inside was red hairs. I'm going to keep an eye on the RH while they're drying and get them into jars and try to wait as long as possible before I start sampling. I can tell this is one of those batches that's going to get better and better if left alone for a couple months. Just did the wash, did 1.25 cups of 34% food grade H202 and a squeezed lemon in a 5 gal bucket. Another bucket of just water to rinse. Then I had a fan on it while hanging in the sunlight from a skylight in the bathroom for 30 min, then put the fan further back and on oscillate, then turned it down an hour later. Left it in there for a few hours, then hung it in the grow tent with everything removed except an oscillating fan, pointed away from the buds. I have the whole plant hanging in the middle of the tent and the tent is holding at 60% rh. Next run I'm going to do 2 buckets and only top once. I might leave them a bit longer in veg too to maximize the height in my grow space, and I'll get a proper 500w bulb instead of continuing to run 1000w bulbs at 50% to lower the heat a bit. The weather will be cooler and I'll only run one air stone in each bucket which should help with res temp. I'll probably foil-wrap the buckets again as well. I should be able to get another run done by the end of the year. I have a White Widow fem seed I've been waiting to use but I'm not sure what else I want to grow yet. Maybe Granddaddy Purp. I'll take some micro pics of the trichomes this week and start curing, and I'll post a proper review in a couple weeks. Happy growing everyone! August 24: I took it out of the tent to inspect. No mold or mildew. The middle of some buds are still pretty wet. I'll keep an eye on it. Wet weight on the stem is 158 grams/ 5.5oz. I harvested a couple branches last week and hung them up. I just ground up one of the buds, left it overnight and vaped some today. There was a bit of Chemdawg Tangerine in the grinder already but overall I got a lot of thick vapour, instant effects, and a really great tropical taste. I busted out the microscope camera and I realized I had a couple buds that fell off before I washed the plant in the H202, and a couple buds that came off in the washing process. It doesn't look like washing the buds took off any of the trichomes. I do seem to find less debris in the buds, not that there was much there before. The trichs look great. Just a light toasting of amber. The washed bud actually seems more dry than the unwashed bud. August 25: there's a real chlorophyll smell coming from the drying room today, it was much terpier yesterday. Leaves are getting crunchy, stems are still fully bendy. I ended up taking it down in the evening. The drying room rh dropped from 60% to 55% and the buds were starting to look too dry based on my last grow. I put it all in a paper bag for the night and I'll put it in jars tomorrow morning. Broken down most of the way it came out to 48-49 grams. From the bud structure, I definitely feel like it would have benefitted from more grow time if I didn't have to travel. More to come. August 26 - the edges of the buds are getting really crispy and the buds are getting tighter. I checked the paper bag earlier and it was 65-70%. I got the impression it was time to put it into jars. I'll keep the lids off for a bit.

What a start to the week... Finally got the auto water and auto drainage set up. First time testing it, I accidentally unplugged the wrong cord and my entire 8 gallon resovoir drained into the 4 plants in less then one minute... THANK GOD FOR COCO. Switched the lights from my T5 to the Mars Hydro 3000 LED. PAR is reading between 500-550 (not sure if the light is just bright or the leaves are showing signs of nutrient deficiency, but they seem much lighter in color). Did my first pruning to give the undergrowth more light. Banana is still not growing like it once was. Might bring down the base nutrients and increase the calmag and nitrogen... thoughts? 2/7 Day 28 Update. Since Scrog, Traunwreck has doubled in size. may need to get two LEDS and put more space between the plants by using the entire tent. Banana is starting to regain growth and structure ( I think it being so bushy, the leaves underneath weren't getting the light they needed on top of the bending most likely pinched or stubted other leaves growth. GSC wasn't meant to be topped and not even sure I did it right but it finally had a decent new top growth and I accidentally snapped it. We shall see if this creates two stems thst shoot out or not. G13 has shown signs from Day One it was a different strain than the rest. Thinner leaves that curl more than the others (must be nutrient issue), but really liking how the canopy is shaping out with this one
