It’s week 5 of flowering, and things are looking fantastic! The adjusted nutrients for the coco substrate have clearly made a difference, as both plants are thriving and continue to develop thick layers of trichomes. ✨ Interestingly, the non-LST plant is starting to show some unique color variations, which is surprising given that both are from the same strain. This unexpected twist adds a bit of excitement, and I’m curious to see how it will develop over the next few weeks. When it comes to scent, the differences are striking! The LST variant has a bold and distinct Lemon Haze aroma—zesty and citrusy 🍋💨 while the non-LST plant gives off a fruity-sweet smell that’s incredibly rich and inviting. 🍓🍭 Unfortunately, my camera broke this week, and now I’m dealing with some low-quality pictures. 📷😔 While it’s frustrating not to capture the plants in their full glory, I’ll do my best to document their progress as clearly as possible. Overall, both plants are doing great, and I’m looking forward to seeing how they turn out in the final stretch! 💚

So far so good. Seems to have taken well to the LST. I did notice the early signs of CO² deficiency and added an organic CO² producer on day 37. Hopefully that spurs the growth. Last frost is in a little over a week. After that I hope the power of the Yukon sun can really give it a boost in its final weeks.

Week 3 Flower At week 3 I increase the pH to 6, as it is easier for the plants to uptake certain nutrients that are most important for flower, such as Phosphorus, Potassium, Calcium and Magnesium (plus more). It's not crucial to do this, and a nice healthy crop can still be the result from staying at 5.8, but it's all about making the girl's lives as easy and stress free as possible. It makes the nutrients more easily available for the plant to uptake so why not make it easier! With the two at the back still growing strong I stopped feeding Remo Grow at the start of the week and stopped feeding silicon mid week to hopefully slow their stretch and start concentrating on bulking. Astro Flower is being fed at a stronger does now their flowers are growing faster. They're all coming along very nicely and looking healthy. They've completely bounced back from their heavy leaf strip and they'll soon start to show frost so I'm excited to smell the flavours we have in these beauties 🏄‍♂️🍇 Thanks for following and happy growing! 🐺

So this week i harvested the orangesherbert so sticky and stinks of orange, 50grams dry of 🔥 bud. Curing in a big jar at 21 degrees and humidity of 60% dark cool cupboard. Watermelon zkitles is bouncing back, the runts is doing amazing with the lst and leaf tucking. I had to kill the purplelemonade due to it herming on me I dont have space for that so I'm going to run a ethos genetics seed in its place.

Smell Increased a lot this week and got that real sticky-icky-ickyness to the touch now it’s like glue :) and smells fire… So fruity and sweet took a few more fans off possibly almost all apart from a few lol got a bit aggressive with her so she paid me back by giving me hives or whatever the bumps on my arms I always get are haha 😂 but yeah to allow the lighter green lower bits to get a little More light for the last few weeks 💚🔥💪

Got a hold of these beans direct from the UK and couldn't afford to have them sitting. This is a sativa dominant strain that checked all the boxes for my 4/20 smokes UPDATE: 14 days from germination, I posted a video and she's already has side branch action and we have only begun veg as of 12/14/22. Genetics shining on this one and I only feeding water, will introduce some light nutes over the wknd MAYBE

20/01/2025 Seedlings have definitely grown in size! Bottom watered again today. Mixed 3L solution of Calmag, Growell Plus 8:8:8, Seaweed extract (2ml / 1ml / 1ml) and watered 1L per pot. Solution was sucked dry from tray relatively fast, guess the roots are growing. 21/01/2025 Measured PPFD / DLI today and found that my existing light had a relatively low ppfd value output. Reading 50 plus PPFD / 4.5 DLI at 24 inch height 75% power, generating insane amounts of heat if the grow tent is closed. Thing is the max ppfd is about 150 at 24 inches. Can't bring down the lights more without potentially causing light burn due to the high DLI low ppfd ratio. Fortunately I have the tent in a temperature controlled room so I had to leave the tent open to ensure there was good airflow cooling down the excess heat without causing too much of a temp shift. Managed to bring up the humidity by adding a larger humidifier maintaining 60 to 70 % range. Did myself a favour and ordered the vivosun aerolight a200se to go along with the rest of the vivosun kit. Hoping it arrives by week 3! Besides this, seedlings look healthy, did some foliar feeding with homemade wood vinegar (5ml to 1L) after lights out. 22/01/2025 I almost killed my plants with light lol. Turns out my existing light was putting up alright dishing out 1200 pfd from 24 inches at max. I noticed some skewed reading when I was tilting my phone screen so decided to take off the screen protector and damn.. ppfd was at 800 ppfd! It was the screen protector not the lights 😆 Since there were no signs of yellowing or wilting I decided to keep it at 400 ppfd. Bottom watered with 1L each of (2ml CalMag / 1ml Growell Plus 8:8:8 / 1ml Seaweed to 3L phed to 5.9) had about 100 ml excess after waiting for 10 mins so I drained out the excess. 23/01/2025 Fortunately my blunder with the lights didn't cost me too much. Plants still looking healthy, 3rd set of true leaves opening up.

This girl was a high effort high reward type of girl for sure. She was struggling with nutrients which is why towards the end all of the leaves were just yellow and crispy. I didn't manage to find the right balance of nutrients for her BUT the yield and end product definitely did not suffer. This strain's smell alone is 100% worth growing!

The big day is here! 😎 Today, March 28th, 104 days (15 weeks) after germination, I have harvested my first indoor photoperiod plant. It has been an incredible challenge, especially managing it in the middle of a winter environment, but the results speak for themselves. 📏 Harvest Data (Wet Weight) -Total Wet Weight: 56.5 grams (15.7g + 40.8g). -Final Height: 40 cm of pure density. -Status: Rock-hard buds and an impressive resin layer. -Dry Estimate: I estimate that after water loss (60-70% less), the final dry weight will be between 14 and 17 grams, given how dense the buds are and the cold conditions we’ve faced. 🌡️ Process Summary -Managing a grow with lows of 12°C for my first indoor photoperiod experience has been difficult. I am aware that a climate control system would have been ideal, but the budget is what it is 😆. Despite the limitations, using lukewarm water for irrigation and controlling the lamp height were vital. This plant has been a great learning experience, and I am sure the next one will be much better, applying everything I’ve discovered during these 15 weeks. Now, on to a slow and controlled dry so the flavor is as spectacular as its look! I want to wrap up this diary by thanking everyone who has joined me during these 15 weeks. Really love a set of scales to keep track of weight too. pH and EC are both critical for thriving plant health, but temperature also plays a pivotal role in achieving optimal growth. It also happens to be the fundamental parameter that's most commonly overlooked. When you think about temperature in the context of a growing environment, you could be referring to the temperature of the air around the plants or you could also be referring to the temperature of nutrient solution or irrigation water, which will affect the root zone temperature. While air temperature is important, for the purposes of this piece, I'll be focusing on root zone temperature and its effect on nutrient uptake and overall plant health. That's because a plant's root system is the location of two essential chemical processes: water and nutrient absorption. In each of these processes, having the correct root zone temperature is paramount for these to occur efficiently. In a nutshell, root zone temperature will affect the rate at which your plants are able to absorb nutrients. If you let your root zone temperature remain unmonitored and uncontrolled, this could lead to disastrous effects on your overall crop yield. Nutrient absorption is largely driven by chemical processes, which take place in your plants' roots; the efficacy of these processes is determined by the temperatures to which those roots are exposed. Once your root zone temperature moves out of its optimal range, the plant will not be able to deliver optimal levels of nutrients and water. Ideally, you should aim to have your nutrient solution or irrigation water temperature at around 18 – 22 °C (65 - 72 °F) to ensure optimal nutrient and water uptake. In addition to having an effect on nutrient absorption, your root zone temperature also affects oxygen availability and solubility. If your water is too warm, you could risk starving your roots of oxygen as warm water cannot hold as much dissolved oxygen as colder water. On the other hand, if your water is too cold, this could shock your plant roots, decrease plant metabolic rates, and stunt plant growth. Peace out.

Still on the hunt for those cosmic snacks, it'll be awhile until I see some fruits but here we are end of week 1.. There's only one but she's popping! Took a bit longer than the other strains to sprout from soil but as soon as she did you could see some nice strong dark green leaves. I placed the seeds in 500ml cups with BioBizz Light Mix soil, beforehand I mixed 1 gram of Synergy per 4 liters of soil. These are live microbes called Mycorrhiza which live in symbiotic association with the roots. My idea is to leave them in this container for about 14-21 days until the roots develop correctly then transplant them to their final pot which will be an 11L fabric pot. As the light mix soil comes blended for at least two week of life, no nutrients will be added until after the transplant. Happy Growing!😃 🌱 🌿 🌲

Absolutely gorgeous strain 😍, the all 3 phenos of Runtz muffin have big size, fat big leafs and they look like they can't wait to get very big and produce many fat sticky colas! This is gonna be a great strain to grow here in spain outdoors, I really hope to find a new favorite flavor here!!

Chopped her two days into week 14. What else. Buds. There are a lot of them. And they are quite large. And they look like they will require little effort to trim. What more can I wish for? I am a very happy man. Upd 1: Trimming is SO SIMPLE! Not much sticking out to begin with, because of the amazing bud structure and me plucking most bud node fans. Solid nugs which are not bothered by anything, so pulling smaller sub-bud fans is very simple too, while the buds are what I would call moist. I'll call this Moist Trim 😄 ✂️✂️✂️ Went for the best trimming tools available on the market (well at least my research concluded so) and LOVING every minute of trimming with the B-500SRF. Why would I or anyone else use something less suitable or less comfortable for such a delicate and long job is beyond me, except if you cannot afford one right now, in which case I wish you to experience it one day. Fiskars are also very good in therms of the blades, coating and cutting ability and precision, but the spring is just too stiff, like way, way to stiff for something that is to be used for hours on end. One might argue that such spring force helps overcome resin buildup, but please just rinse your instrument regularly in an appropriate solvent (ethy, iso, whatever — consider you instrument materials as well) and wipe it after. Why would you let significant amounts of resin to accumulate on such a gentle and precise tool? Kinda defeats the purpose?
