Greetings my dear Jungletamers, So a major surprise came when @MarsHydroLED contacted us and asked if would like to try out their new SP 3000 light. Being a fan of Mars Hydro for years, we of course accepted their offer. We are totally in love with this light. I was when I saw it in another grower's setup and was in awe of its output and results. With many lessons learned from the previous grow, a mighty producing strain in the form of Expert Seeds Gorilla Glue #4, a.k.a Expert Gorilla's and a tweaked super soil mixture, we are setting out to hopefully get over a gram per watt, preferably 1.5. The Setup A 4.5 (140 cm) x 2(70) x 6.2 (200) grow tent, giving me a .98 m2 workspace. This space is customized to my needs. A standing fan will provide airflow through the whole grow, a top fan will help guide cooler air past my lights onto the grow. 3 56 ltr pots will be the home for the plants when they are 2 weeks old, up to then in smaller jars. The Light The leading role and star of the show will be played by the Mars Hydro SP-3000, so kindly provided by MarsHydroLED, which we will test and review here and I might say, endorse. Because of the great results, we are going to use the same recipe, adjusted some more with some new ingredients that will complete the mix and give an even more sustained super soil buffer. 20% Atami Bi-grow (very similar to ocean forest) 20% Atami worm castings 20% Atami Coco Coir 10% Hydrocorn 10% Peat powder 1 cup Fossil seaweed chalk 1 cup bonemeal 1 cup bloodmeal 1 cup Microlife 3-4 teaspoons of epsom salt 3 cups of activated biochar (activated with our own permaculture tea) I just made layers, starting with hydro corn on the bottom to aid airflow/run-off. On this I started layering the coco coir, Bi-grow, peat, castings, and amendments in a way that the more mature the plants get, the more phosphorous and less nitrogen they will find. I switched her to ph water yesterday. She has a good cloudy trichromes with just a few amber started. So in roughly a week she should be right about where I want to try it at. She still has some flower, even though I messed her up in vegging. I have been having issues across the board here, and there on different plants. Beside that she smells good, and good trichrome layer. I am just letting her finish up, and will harvest on next update. Esta semana fue muy difícil para la planta pues me intentaron quemar la planta agregando jabón y le hice por 5 dias lavado de raiz y la dejé en sombra para recuperarla

Nun ist es offiziell. Meine Pflanzen blühen. Obwohl beide so unterschiedlich sind, die ist 50 und die andere 40cm groß, haben beide gleichzeitig angefangen zu blühen. Beim nächsten mal gießen kommt dann der erste Dünger dazu. Plagron alga bloom. Ich nehme wie manche Leute empfehlen nur die Hälfte, da es sich um automatics handelt. Am Samstag habe ich nun das erste Mal gedüngt. 5ml auf 1l Wasser Pragron alga bloom. Sonntag habe ich mein Pflanzen gemessen. 70 und 48cm. Meisterlich Ich werde eine Woche nicht bei meinen Pflanzen sein können. Sie werden von Dritten gepflegt werden. Also Wasser und Dünger geben. Denke zweimal Wasser wird reichen. Dann nächste Woche wieder mehr.

Day 56 : Well 8 full weeks si ce I flipped the lights and this lady looks so ripe now . Her pistils are mostly orange now throughout the plant. I did get a little second burst of pistils befor e the rest browned off and it swelled them very nicely . Her smell is a fruity sweet but there is also another undertone there I just cant grab at. Will hopefully come out in cure a bit more to nail it. She is nice and sticky now too and has some nice clumps of buds to that are solid to squeeze . I plan to loupe her soon to check her trichromes for cloudiness. She has t skipped a beat the whole grow and will be getting another run out soon. Hopefully next update will be harvesting pics !!!. Be safe growmies UPDATE DAY 61:She is done and out . Yay. I had planned and expected an 11 week flowering due to the genetic mix but she had other ideas. She has been a pleasure to try out and grow and will certainly be popping more of the Fruity Gorillas in the near future. She smells very "fresh fruit stall" at the moment and I am looking forward to how she cures up. I will update as soon as she is harvested from the dried stems. I am hoping for a 1p day slower dry but temps here are crazy at the moment and I cant find a cooler space to dry than my grow room yet. Some new pics of her taken out and trimmed. Si lets talk about my beautiful Medusa F1 from Royal Queen Seeds. This little lady is growing like a champ, and I've been giving her lots of love and care. One of the techniques I've been using with my Medusa F1 is leaf bending as a form of training. It's been amazing to see how much she's responded to this technique. I gently bend and manipulate the stems and leaves to encourage horizontal growth and create an even canopy. This helps to promote more even light distribution and allows for better nutrient uptake. 5/13/22 - 5/20/22 5/14/22 Today my Poison Zkittlez got her Zamaldaberry room mate to move out so that she would have more space. She is trying to fill this 4x4. I did some defoliation and leaf tucking today to help open up those inner branches. 5/16/22 Today my girl got some defoliation and her resivore topped off at 3 gallons needed after 3 days. She is doing great and her flowers are getting beautiful 😍 5/20/22 Today marks the last day of week 3 of flower for my Poison Zkittlez. Topped off her resivore 3 gal. Did some minor defoliation of some inner leaves.
