8/7 Plants were still heavy this morning. Temperatures have been much milder. 70's is much better than 90's. I had to water twice a day for a while. I defoliated ahind found some heat stress ob the gmo canary on the end with some twisted leaves. Some leaves are turning purple on an event horizon and gmo. Night Temps are much cooler plus its probably a pheno thing. I defoliated everything dead yesterday. Found lacewind eggs. Saw an adult green lace wing this morning in the garden along with a couple more lady bugs. There were also some lady bug larvae so I hope the go right to town. It's getting cooler so if I'm going to poorly I need to do it. Sherb pie plant seems to he the pillars favorite. I've killed a few of them. Still need to fix supports and do a little more defoliation. I have a video too but it's too slow to upload now. STOPPED AFTER GETTING MY TIRES PUT ON AND DAD SAID THE LITTLE PLANT IN THE 5 GAL BUCKET IS DROOPING. I WENT BACK AND OF COURSE IT WAS. I GAVE PRETTY MICH EVERYTHING A HALF GALLON EXCEPT THE EVENT HORIZONS TGAT ARE FURTHEST IN FLOWER. WITH THIS SUPER HOT WEATHER AND LACK OF RAIN I DONT WANT TO OVERWATER. I'VE USED THIS BUCKET SECERAL TIMES AND IVE SEEN TJIS TYPE OF ALGAE BUT USUALLY ONCE I SANITIZE ITS GOOD TO GO. Only problem I can see is some septoria looking spits on the toasted toffy and one gmo looks like itscrunning through nutrients quicker than others. Dad said he thinks this is my best year. He said they're more full and healthier looking. I looked at my diary last year and I had plants over the top of the cage. The weren't as bushy but I'm not complaining. These are far more indica dominant than last year so that's probably part of it. Leaves on the event horizons are starting to turn purple. I'll update what I do. I defoliated what needed it and combed through the plants hunting pillars. I GUESS I FORGOT TO UPDATE THIS OR IT DIDNT SAVE. I was selected to test some of Fastbuds new genetics. Seeds germinated in 48hrs and 6 days later it broke ground and hasent slowed down. This grow is in my 4x4ft grow space located in an uninsulated shed. Each plant has a dedicated 150-200w LED from Viparspectra or Mars. Winter Temps in my area spike to -15C or more in Jan and Feb, so this will be an interesting and challenging grow. The grow room is 20-30C above ambient temperature, so there is a little manual and auto manipulation of grow Temps. Day 1 drying: Really nice strain! Easy to grow, medium dosage of nutrients. Smells amazing, I’m really curious how they will end up after the drying. Let’s see in some days. Drying day 7: finished and damn the terps are amazing! Smells and taste amazing. It reminds me of amnesia but in a mix with mimosa. Super special. I do really recommend trying this one out. But I would recommend using living soil over coco!

Over all a good strain to grow. Looking for something stronger for next garden though 😉

Greetings and salutations GD peeps. Let the peaceful transition of flower begin! It is the first week of flower and the scrog is filling out nicely. I had some issues with a GFI popping and my lights would miss a few hours in the 18/6 light shedule over the last week. Rather than stress them any more than they already have been with the mini blackouts I flipped them to flower this week. I also changed the circuit the Tent was on and it seems to be consistent. A massive feeding this week for early flower, I bumped the bloom by 2 ml/gal on top of the normal feeding chart. My rational is I have topped these ladies and there are far more bud sites than before, will see if it has any effect + or - I have also done some selective defoliation to promote light pentation to the lower bud sites that have branched out from the topping 2 weeks ago. I have a small number of LEDs on one of my lights that have stopped working. The light an older amazon Chinese cheap O has 85% of the lights working. My footprint of the tent to the w/sqft is with in range. I have read and heard 35-50 watts per square foot of area as a general rule is good. now you can get in to PAR and lumens etc. but that's a whole different conversation. The light might be why the GFI was popping? I will figure that out after the grow. for now its all about FLOWER POWER and the scrog fulfilling its destiny. peace ya'll be kind to your fellow humans and hybrids.

Weekly update for these gorgeous girls. They've definitely started taking off and doubled in size over the past week. I started feeding nutes at 5ml/gal of Athena Calmag,Grow A & Grow B. Ppfd still at 350-400 at the canopy level and watered 250-500ml daily. All in all Happy Growing

I continue to see yellow leaves and cannot figure out the root of it. I can't tell if its a nutrient deficiency or a PH issue, if the nutrients that I add do no suffice then I will go get some PH down, as my soil PH is slightly high at 7.0, but I would not believe that could be the cause of it, only time will tell. To end on a more positive note, even with some yellow leaves some of these plants are bursting with life, and starting the 3rd week with some monster leaves for such a young plant. *UPDATE* We are now currently near the end of the weeks and the plants are beginning to truly thrive with some nice stalks and an explosion of colas. The yellowing seemed to stop now that I give it a regular supply of nutrients, also trimmed off any excessively yellow leaves. I did some very light pruning as well to allow more light to the newer colas and may have accidentally topped to runt plant way too early haha whoops so lets just hope for the best for the little guy.

Week 4 of flower just started, Everything is under control, I gradually remove bigger fan leaves as I want as much light on buds as possible, I’ve added small led at the pot level shining upwards on all the popcorn buds, just testing this idea. Any one tried that before ? I’ve decided to transplant all the plants in veg into final 11l pots, 2 smartpots and 3 airpots (no point for bigger pots since they are clones and don’t develop big roots), Another 4 weeks on veg, flip on cfl and then I’ll be moving them straight under 12/12 cmh In a week I’ll be sprouting new seeds from RQS - Kush - Medical mass - AK47 - Cheese Hopping for baby gorilla to spread her wings quicker, she is very shy ☺️ Have a nice weekend folks
