Grow Diary – Day 73 (Flowering Day 53) Strain: Sour Frootz by Karma Genetics Plants: 4 clones Training: HST + SCROG Nutrients: Green House Feeding – Bio Grow & Bio Bloom Date: May 24 (Saturday) Status: Entering final ripening – harvest approaching At Flowering Day 53, the Sour Frootz plants are now in the late flowering phase, showing strong signs of maturity. Buds are fully formed, tight, and heavily coated in resin. Trichome development has peaked visually—most heads are now cloudy, with a noticeable rise in amber trichomes, especially on upper colas. The aroma is intense and complex: sweet, citrusy fruit mixed with sour funk and subtle earthy undertones. The terpene expression is at its most volatile, and the flowers are sticky to the touch. Some larger fan leaves are beginning to fade, showing natural senescence—primarily a gentle yellowing, with no signs of stress or deficiency. Nutrient Program: • Still running Bio Bloom, though it can now be tapered or discontinued if you plan a light flush. • Bio Grow is no longer active at this stage (breakdown complete), but residual nutrients are sustaining the plant. Watering is now more moisture-controlled to avoid excess humidity near dense colas, reducing mold risk. Estos ejemplares se cultivaron en 7L en sustrato light MIX de plagrOn, controlando en todo momento el PH de nuestras plantas, y dándoles de comer una gama advanced nutrients bastante básica. -PROS: facil cultivar, flores llenas de resina , flores compactas, ramas laterales largas. -CONTRAS: hay que tutorar por el peso de la flor, floración demasiado rápida a mi gusto (no te das ni cuenta). *Aquí ya me despido hasta la cosecha familia.

04.05 They are doing well after the defoliating 05.05 I decided to remove some smaller branches to give the main stems more potential to grow, we have per plant around 4 - 6 main stems, there would be a possibility to do more but since I need to be ready in time I am fine what I have here in form of stems. Beside that I really saw the first time a difference between the pots with airdome and the one without. The one without needs later water, I watered every pot with airdome again with 1500ml and will do the other pot later this day. 08.05 After a talk with a friend and some information I found through the www, I decided to lollipop way earlier and way more restrictive then I would usually do. 09.05 Watered with 1500ml 11.05 I finally installed the autopot system and measured the water in the tank. Hesi is reducing the PH level and am not sure if it is really healthy for plants potted in soil to have such a low PH.

Día 09. Segunda semana de crecimiento. La planta sigue creciendo a un buen ritmo. Ya pronto voy a agregar un bioestimulante de crecimiento y algunos microorganismos. Probablemente esta semana también haga la poda apical. Día 14. Le hice el corte apical el día 10. Ya está recuperada y creciendo. Por el momento mantengo la solución. Mañana seguro ya cambio y le agrego un bioestimulante de crecimiento. Aún no fui a buscar las bacterias, pero esta semana tengo que ir sin falta. Ya voy a ir preparando la parte de arriba para cuando lleguen los esquejes. Pero una vez que corte, tengo dos semanas de enraizamiento. Por lo cual todavía falta. Pero ya está todo encaminado.

March 7, 2019 update: These babies are doing great! I plan on transplanting 6 plants and moving them into the flowering room this weekend. As of right now my plan is to move 1 DinaMed CBD, 1 Medi Kush CBD and 4 Cherry Hemp plants into flower. I'm going to pick the largest/most developed plants for the move. Then I'll keep the rest in veg for another month, next month I'll pick the next 6. I'd like to get the plants on a monthly rotation so I can be harvesting monthly.

To be honest overall this strain done good so as the others. Reflecting back on how i started with just a tent and light, and slowly buying the fans and filters whiles the plants were growing. But i did want these plants to grow naturally without topping and Low Stress Training. I regret not removing the lower branches becuase i did get alot of small airy buds down there. But it was all trial and error. All i done was remove some fan leaves when good to do so every now and then. Not on a mad level tho, i did have alot of sugar leaves which i will be making some stuff with! At veg the plants had deficiencies due to out of date Biobizz bottles. But that got sorted with the magic of Algimac and Calmag. Overall Next time I will definitely train the plants and maybe top a few. Final Yield: Plant #1 21.88 Grams Plant #2 33.36 Grams Plant #3 56.06 Grams Which yield exactly 110 grams! Ounces come out very fat with these light buds Not bad for the conditions they were brought up in, and with no training! Thanks for everyone who has followed this diary throught out the journey! I cannot come to a conclusion, when it comes to this strain it could be the grow medium, because Unknown Strain has the same vigorous growth rate in recovery and development of new growth while flowering you would not say i defoliated all these ladies on the same day, worse this is a 2nd aggressive defoliation which my other four ladies are showing slow growth and development of new growth, and this past eek I have not been feeding them any nutrients just rain water stored in a 1000lt tank.

Week 18, the stretch should almost come to an end. Added flavuh and UVA this week.
