######################################### HARVEST (Day 93 / June 4) ######################################### ----------------------------------------------------------- GROW SUMMARY ----------------------------------------------------------- Grown in 4x4 tent - but I only used 2x2 space because of heater and dehumidification and other plants (Outlier Z). This plant used a dedicated CMH 315 light. The plant was grown in hydroponics using a custom single-site PA hydroponics clone RDWC system with Advanced Nutrients Sensi Coco line, Microbial Mass and Orca for beneficials. I also experimented with Rapid start in the RDWC system, but I didn't see explosive root growth relying on Rapid Start as an additive to the system verse using it when starting in rapid rooters which worked well. All around a pretty easy grow and things went very well. Topped twice for a mainline structure and she really spread out. Sparkling golf ball size nugs down the branches and spaced out nicely. The scent off her was like burned rubber/tires or maybe fresh blacktop. A single water change which was only performed when switching to bloom nutrients around week 7. ----------------------------------------------------------- HARVEST ----------------------------------------------------------- No dark period and no flush. On day 93 she was chopped and hung to dry. ----------------------------------------------------------- DRYING ----------------------------------------------------------- Entire plant hung upside down for 15 days. The temps were dialed in at 60F by using the S6 intake fan pulling air from the AC through intake vent on side of the tent. Humidity was dialed in at 63%/60F for 24hr, 62%/60F for the next 48hr. Then 60%/60F for the third day and onward. AC Infinity T6/S6 exhaust and intake fans were on the setting of '2' during drying until day 7, then I could turn down to a setting of '1' once the plants were not transpiring excess moisture. Trimmed on day 18. Then the jars were left open in the tent for another 12 more days for a full 30 day dry at 60%/60F while rolling the jars frequently. Also ran dehumidifier in the tent but it only ran for 1-2 minutes every hour because the AC was doing most of the dehumidification on the intake. ----------------------------------------------------------- TRIMMING ----------------------------------------------------------- Trimming was an absolute breeze. All swelled nuggets, very little sugar leafs left to trim. ----------------------------------------------------------- CURING ----------------------------------------------------------- Flower product was transferred to 1L mason jars averaging 35g of product per jar. I added a mini hygrometer to each jar and chose not to use a boveda this time. The RH averaged 62-64% when trimmed flowers went in jars. Jars were left open in the tent for a total dry time of 30 days from harvest keeping the tent at 60%/60F. Once closed, the jars were burped once a day for the first seven days, once every other day for the next seven days, rolling jars often. The burp was only for 3-5 second for air exchange until a. 62% was maintained in the jar. ----------------------------------------------------------- YIELD ----------------------------------------------------------- * Weight calculated at 62% humidity after 30-day dry and 14-day cure. ============================== FLOWER PRODUCT ============================== 180.41g (6.44oz) ============================== TRIM PRODUCT ============================== 57g (2.03oz) ** All major fan leaves, stems, and branches removed from trim product. ============================== TOTAL OVERALL YIELD ============================== Total: 238.41g (8.51oz) ============================== SPACE YIELD ============================== 238.41g / 4 sqft (2x2 canopy) = 59.60g per sqft ============================== WATTAGE YIELD ============================== 315 Watts / 4 Square Foot (3x4 canopy) = 78.75 watts per sqft. 238.41g / 315 watts = 0.76 grams per watt ----------------------------------------------------------- PRODUCT TEST ----------------------------------------------------------- Bag appeal is top-notch. Trichome covered, with aromas of that unique 'kush' you can quickly identify based on experience. Best OG Kush I've ever tried, hands down! The flavour is kushy, smoke is smooth and definitely my favorite strain in my tote of cured harvests at the moment. I can't keep my hands off of the jars. Definitely not a daytime strain, even for experienced users, although I'll use it in the afternoon when life is throwing curve balls. The effects rise you up, then sets you right down and will wash away all that anxiety after a long day. Put it this way....if I puff a few hours before bed, I still feel it the next morning when I peel my eyes open. No joke. I'll definitely be growing this one again, maybe even next run because I'll be sad when I run out. ----------------------------------------------------------- REGRETS ----------------------------------------------------------- Not running more of this amazing plant. ----------------------------------------------------------- NEXT RUN ----------------------------------------------------------- This was the first run at my new residence so it will take some time to get it dialed in. I had some calibration issues which are now fixed. I'm going to be shooting for 1gram per watt on the next run. ----------------------------------------------------------- FINAL THOUGHTS ----------------------------------------------------------- DarkOwl is the best autoflower I've grown yet. The girls are starting to get really heavy, we may be forced to cage the rest for support, we couldn't move them much this week for fear of them collapsing..not recognizing or stopping the runaway stretch soon enough has come back to bite us..lesson learned about this strain.. the canopy is terribly uneven lol, we're just kinda letting them do their own thing at this point, we did drop 1 of 2 lights to accommodate the shortest of the group. Tag 45: Hab die Green Gelato ganz schön ausgehackt 😬 Sie ist sehr schnell gewachsen, bin gar nicht hinterher gekommen. Durch die Wärme ist die Pflanze recht hell geworden ich gebe ab sofort Alg a mic dazu um ihr hoffentlich etwas grün zurück zugeben.

I recently completed my very 1st harvest and now that I have gotten over the hurdle, I'm excited to be at it again (and with lots of great upgrades). In my first attempts at growing I thought it would be best to start with the most entry level equipment just to see how I enjoyed the experience; it's safe to say I'm HOOKED! This time around I have a larger tent (3x3) and am growing 4 plants instead of just one! 2 of these plants are Super Skunk (fem) and the other 2 are bag seed that I kept labeled (banana candy & 3x crazy). In addition to the Mars Hydro tent, I also got an affordable LED light that I am over the moon about :) After doing some research for several months I decided that the Hipargero 800w COB was a must-have, especially for the price! I haven't seen many people talk about it or use it but, everything that I did see was a raving review and from the couple of youtube videos and pictures I saw of the light in action I was quite impressed! It has a veg and bloom switch, and a daisy chain feature for those of you who are looking to make an upgrade... this might be the next light for you! These little babies are in Fox Farm's "Ocean Forest" and I am giving them a light misting of distilled water. By the end of the week I will probably place used coffee grounds on the top soil for so slow releasing nitrogen nutrients.

Week 6 (20/94 - 26/04) D36: - D37: 0.8 liter of tap water. D38: - D39: - D40: - D41: 0.5 ml of Calmag, 1.5 ml of Bio-grow, 2 ml of Bio-bloom into 1 liter of tap water @ pH 6.3. Out four days for vacation, during these days the plant stretched a lot and start showing some orange spots on lower leaves. Moreover, there are first signs of flower. D42: -

Week 10 - The Plants has shown so much growth within a week those buds are really now starting to form and pack on a scent. I have cut out using the formulex.

Auto Maxi Gom is still flowering, and looking kinda crappy. I have had this happen once before like this. I dunno if it is genetic or something I did. I plan to finish her out, and use flower for infusing. Beer almost ruined half a year of work. Long story short, a space heater got the room wayyy too hot during their off cycle...and I run it on the colder side when the lights off. Dealing with some powdery mildew but containing it with a foliar spray mix of baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) a “splash” of h202 and a tiny drip of soap and applying with the lights off. Throughout the grow I am consistently using 3/4th the recommended doses each week for their hydro line. I fill 4 gallons but dose as if there’s only 3 gal. Near the end of the grow I am filling 4 gallons, still dosing as if 3 gallons, however the root ball would cause the bucket to overflow so I have to dump about 30% away to other plants so my water level is where it should be. A little more than halfway full seems to work, and if it is slightly too high, the plant will drink it down where it is fine by tomorrow

Day 107 Flower day 51 - Have been flushing for about a week now, was trying to pull another week but I couldn’t keep 2 of them from falling over so I decided to chop them this morning! Hallo meine Garten Freunde. Ich heiße euch herzlich willkommen zum Ende von diesem Grow, ich bin mit der Qualität der Blüten äußerst zufrieden. Dieser Strain hat mich vollstes überzeugt, ich bin sehr begeistert von der Resistenz gegenüber den Schädlingsbefall oder im allgemeinen. Man kann ruhig ein zwei Tage mit dem Gießen im Verzug sein ohne das dieser Strain dir das gleich Übel nimmt. Diese Sorte ist auch nicht so anfällig für über Gießen oder über und unter Düngung. Ich habe in der Mitte der Blüte ein kleines Problem mit Frassflügler ( Triepse ) gehabt, da für kurze Zeit mein Lüfter ausgefallen ist, den Befall hat sie ohne weiteres weggesteckt, ohne jegliche Anzeichen für Probleme. Die Buds haben sich sehr vielversprechend entwickelt und haben einen süßlich tropischen Geruch im Raum verströmt. Wo drüber ich am meisten gestaunt habe war dass man diesen Strain Trainieren kann egal ob topping oder HST das haben die Damen gut weggesteckt. Das einzige was man beachten sollte wenn man die Pflanzen toppt ist, dass man mit einer längeren Anbau Zeit rechnen muss. Von insgesamt 5 sind 5 Seeds gekeimt, leider habe ich ein Sämling verloren. Ansonsten haben sich alle Pflanzen so entwickelt wie ich es mir gedacht habe. Der Ertrag hätte größer ausfallen können, dann hätte ich aber auch größere Töpfe nehmen müssen, und das konnte ich zu dieser Zeit leider nicht. Die Medusa #1 braucht noch einwenig länger. Also meine Freunde wär eine schnelle Sorte sucht, dem kann ich diesen Strain ans Herz legen. So this is a good experiment, lets see indoors how she will compare. —GERMINATION— My germination process always start by scarifying the seeds, i created a little tool for that. I just a little container with sandpaper walls. Shake gently for about 60 secs+, this allows for the water to penetrate better in the seed shell, once you soak. Then i soak overnight from 12 to 20 hours max. From there i either plant straight or use the paper towel method to see the tap root before. If you are a bit on the impatient side seen the tap root is advisable so you see some movement before planting. Lol! —ROYAL QUEEN SEEDS . QUICK ONE .
