Flowering Week 23: The Great Defoliation & Purple Hints Update: 17.08.2025 | Day 163 Hey Growmies, Week 23 was all about the snip-snip – gave both ladies a serious haircut and opened up them tight spaces. Airflow’s king now, and these girls are breathing easy. Here’s the wrap: Durban Poison – Cleaned & Gleaming After that defoliation, she’s standing tall like a proper little tree – clean stems, no clutter, just good light and air all through her core. The buds are frosting up with pistils that’s turning a soft, shy purple. Real pretty. Smell’s picking up too – still subtle, kinda old-school. Not like these new genetic gas-monsters. If I had to call it something? Flowery. Earthy-flowery. Simple. Honest. Blueberry – Tall, Late & Mysterious This girl’s still reaching – almost 2.20m now, though only three mains broke the 2m mark. Rest is hanging around 1.80m. Buds are forming slooow, pistils are shy. She’s blooming on her own damn schedule – way behind Durban. Started sexing at the same time, but now it’s like Durban’s sprinting and Blueberry’s strolling. Starting to sweat a little… if she’s too late, mold might sneak in when the autumn damp hits. First week in flower ended with some training yesterday and a feeding. I've been focusing on more regular feedings at smaller amounts and she has responded well. Her stalk is getting massive and she's recovered from a slight N deficiency 1 week prior to going into flower. --------------- Week 2 was just feeding and regularly rotating the plant. Doubled in size over the week and about 2 weeks shy of next defoliation. She is starting to become more fragrant and she's drinking up water pretty quick I water about .5gal every day at the moment feeding smaller amounts but more frequently. ---------- Week 3 was a regular feeding schedule and some defoliation.

This is the tester strain sent to me by @toon_town it's a #saskatoonberry x #afghani mystery .. She has been great since day one very good growth rate excellent structure and lots of bud sites formed and filling out .. she has 7 friends to start but we down to three two females and a male plant .. The selected male show resistance to cold, humidity, lack of water .. the male had lots of growth and will make a suitable plant for some pollen ...

Hello y'all! Today marks the last day of the third week of flowering. At the start of this week I watered the plant with 1 liter of plain water, no excess draining. I also applied some extra LST, I really wanted to expose as much as possible the buds. My light is not that powerful, it produce real 70/75 watts... so I do my best to take advantage of it with some LST and a major defoliation. I took out 13 leaves, some of them were a bit crushed or damaged so they had to go to create more space for the light and overall for the health of the Titan. Some of them they were just making too much shade on the buds so they also had to go ahhahaha Couple of days ago I watered with 3 liters of water with nutrients. The excess was 1.5 liter. I found the limit of the pot, around 2.5/3 liters of water per week. That's the sweet spot. I was concerned that the plant didn't drink enough but then if I take in consideration that the pot is only 7 liters and I did fill it with around 6 liters of soil...then I think is more than fine as it it. We will see. So in conclusion this week the baby got roughly 4 liters of water adjusted to pH 6.3. The water that drained off the pot was around pH 6.7/6.8. I think is a little too much and I am considering to water next time with pH around 6.0 o 6.1 maybe I will be able to drop the pH of the excess water to 6.6 or 6.5. We will see. The temperature is constantly around 21 to 23 degrees celsius and the humidity at the moment is constantly under 50%. At least I don't have to worry about mold. I hope. The smell is strong with some mango scents, amazing plant! I hope it smokes also as good as it smells! I wanted to point out something that I've noticed and it popped in my mind. My pot was for 7 liters but in the pot I have roughly 6 liters of soil. So there is some extra empty space for soil on the very top of the pot. The problem is that I noticed that on the very bottom of the main stem the plant tried to sprout some extra roots but because there was no soil around it they didn't spread and died straight away. I've noticed that the plant could be much stronger or bigger if I let her root also a bit higher on the main stem... but because there was no soil around the stem the roots didn't come out from there. You can see it in the last picture. I circled in red the spots. I believe I could do much better if the roots were starting a lil higher on the stem and not just where is the soil. If you don't get me or im unable to explain myself cus im stoned then please give a look at the last picture of this week. You will understand what I meant, if not peace and love the same hahahaha Overall I believe everything is going in the right direction, in 2 weeks +- I should harvest. I hope I can get 30 g dry of this plant. Anyway The trichomes are far away from ready, or white or even a lil cloudy. Look at the last video, 80/85% of the trichomes still transparent and lucid. Ok so this week I did a defoliation and a tigh down too the netting , I really was not planning on doing such a big defoliation but the leafs became thick and dense and there was almost no light penitration down too the lower branches of the plant , so she is opened right up now and the humidity and temperature has dropped loads and the air is moving alot better around the leaves and branches , I will not take anything more off her now , I have also added Cal mag too the nutrients for this week only , I am very happy with them so far and being new too all this it's all very exciting , Thanks for looking :)

First Week. Looks good.

W19 (Harvest) 6-6 Last day before harvest. 7-6 Harvest day! Installed a humidifier outside the tent, set to 55% aiming for a 60% humidity inside the dry tent. 21-6 After 14 days of slow drying she is ready to be trimmed. While posting this a couple of months later i found out that i totally forgot to make pictures and video's of the trimmed buds 😅 It was a very nice daytime smoke, tasted sweet-sour. End results: 74.26 Grams of bud 57.90 Grams of small buds and trim, in the freezer for bubble hash. I have some trim and small buds saved up from different strains and i will be posting a diary of the full process making hash of them! Hi all👨‍🌾👋 Welcome to my another week update Hope everyone keeping well 🧑‍🌾 Week 5 Mar 1 - Mar 7 What a joyful grow. Both girls are almost like twins. Super healthy and strong. Girls are in pre-flower and going head to head in development. Not expecting them to grow super tall but time will show. Considering to let them grow freely and not installing scrog net. This idea may change in coming days. 2 waterings of 2.5 l on Mar 2+ foliar feeding and second in Mar 7. May take another week before first runoff experience. Continously leaves tucking. Girls are responding perfectly to feeding like also to my LST.
