Instead, I wait for the plants to show true signs of bloom. It’s a small but significant distinction that keeps things accurate and aligned with the plants’ development. 🌱 Defoliation: Timing is Everything! Defoliation is a critical part of the flowering stage, and I typically wait until Day 21. However, this week, I tackled it earlier on Day 17 because: 1️⃣ The room was simply too full. 2️⃣ And most importantly—the Papaya Zoap had other plans! She’s a fighter—determined, defiant, and constantly reaching for the moon. Despite intense training like super cropping, she’s still pushing upward, nearly outpacing the LED lights. Challenges like this remind us of a simple truth: gardening mirrors life. It’s about resilience, adaptation, and unwavering determination. 💪 This week, I added a second SCROG layer. While this net will support the flowering colas, it’s also there to strategically manage the Papaya Zoap. Why? Because experience has taught me that if she grows out of the LED’s range, she won’t finish properly—and that could disrupt the balance for every other plant in the tent. It’s all about teamwork, even in the garden. 🌟 Defoliation was intense, removing nearly all the leaves with stems to clear space and boost airflow. The tent now looks dramatically different! This marks the start of a new chapter, and I’m incredibly curious to see how the plants react to these changes. Here’s the current nutrient mix: • System Clean: 0.5 ml/L • Regulator: 0.15 ml/L • RO Water Conditioner: 0.8 ml/L • All-in-One Liquid: 2.1 ml/L I’m keeping the pH at 6.1 and TDS at 556 ppm, and so far, the plants are thriving. This week also included a thorough system clean, ensuring everything runs smoothly as we enter the final flowering stages. 🌿 Bud Development: Pure Magic! The bud formation across all the genetics is nothing short of incredible. Every plant is thriving, and the canopy is lush, vibrant, and full of potential. I’ve raised the PPFD to 750 for this stage, with temps steady at 25°C and RH at 63%—keeping the VPD dialed in at 1.11. Week8/3F An Tag50/15F wurde die SanlightEVO auf 150W eingestellt. Das wird für das 60×60cm Zelt das Maximum sein. Die Ladys kriegen in der Mitte 900ppfd und in den Ecken sind es noch 800ppfd. Die Ladys entwickeln wundervolle Blüten. Sonst machen sie auch einen super fitten Eindruck. Der VPD ist Tagsüber ziemlich perfekt. Die Luftfeuchtigkeit bleibt bei rund 40% ab und an geht die Luftfeuchtigkeit auf 37% das ganze bei einer durchschnittlichen Temperatur von 25°C. Ich will mich nicht zu früh freuen. Bis jetzt läuft bei diesem Run alles ziemlich gut. Die Ladys kriegen langsam etwas mehr durst. Wo es letzte Woche auch mal 100-200ml weniger waren, brauchten die Ladys Ende der Woche schonmal zwei Tage nacheinander etwas zu trinken. Höhentechnisch sind die Ladys ungefähr gleichgroß. Die Lady links hat etwas fleißigere Seitentriebe die etwas mehr Richtung canopy gehen. Sonst bin ich mit beiden Ladys sehr zufrieden. Die Lady rechts im Zelt entwickelt jetzt schon unglaublichen Frost. _____________________________ Düngen : Gegossen wird mit Wasser das 24/7 mit einer Aquariumpumpe in einer 10L Gießkanne in Bewegung gehalten wird. Davon wird soviel genommen wie es die Ladys verlangen und mit dem einen oder anderen Zusatz versetzt. Je nach Stadium der der Ladys. Ab ungefähr Woche 5 wird mit 10% vom Topfvolumen gegossen. Das ganze wird in zwei bis drei Teilen mit einem Abstand von 20-30min gegossen. Vor jedem gießen wird die Oberfläche vom Substrat angefeuchtet. Tag50/15F gab es 1ml/L PowerRoots, 1ml/L PowerBuds, 1ml/L PureZym, 1ml/L SilicRock, 0.5ml/L CalMagPro, 1.5ml/L PK 5-8 als Zusatz. Das ganze wurde auf einen ph-Wert von 6.4 gebracht. Beide Ladys bekamen 1.2L. Tag52/17F gab es 1ml/L PowerRoots, 1ml/L PowerBuds, 1ml/L PureZym, 1ml/L SilicRock, 0.5ml/L CalMagPro, 1.5ml/L PK 5-8 Zusatz Das ganze wurde auf einen ph-Wert von 6.4 gebracht. Beide Ladys bekamen 1.2L Tag55/20F gab es 1ml/L PowerRoots, 1ml/L PowerBuds, 1ml/L PureZym, 1ml/L SilicRock, 0.5ml/L CalMagPro, 2ml/L PK 5-8 als Zusatz. Das ganze wurde auf einen ph-Wert von 6.5 gebracht. Beide Ladys bekamen 1L in den Topf und 200ml in den Untersetzer damit keine trockenen stellen im Substrat entstehen. The week started off rough because I noticed light stress and what I thought to be a potassium deficiency. The growth was non existant, but after some research I raised my light from 36 - 40" and set the dimmer to level 4. On top of this I dropped the RH from 65 to 60 and once I did this within the next hours I saw the leaves begin to purk back up. This was also my 1st time feeding my plants a compost tea which I made from Green waste compost, bio char, bokashi, fish hydrosolate powder, azomite, langbanite, humic acid, Fish Sh!t, insect frass, and kelp meal. I airated the compost tea in a 5 gallon bucket for 24 hours before drenching the soil with it, and I added some Recharge by Real Growers after the compost tea. 11. Woche Sie bekommt wie die anderen zum Flush Eiskaltes Wasser und auch sie bildet leichte Purple Stellen aus. Sie braucht denke noch 7-10 Tage, bis sie soweit ist, wie ich die haben will 😍😄😊 Ich habe die gestern alle gespült. Insgesamt habe ich 4x Wasser durch jeden Topf laufen lassen.
