So far so good! The two prized plants are making a nice long beautiful main colas with great lower shoots. I did have what appeared to be a lockout early in the week but I’d bet it was from either salt/nutrient build up or to high of a ppm count. I ran a batch of flora kleen for an hour and the results were astound of how much it stripped out. I think this resolved it and the smells are starting to come through now. I love the later weeks of flower but who doesn’t?!

Day 71 (August 26th): Watered the ladies again today, everything is still looking great. Pheno 1 is starting to get yellow leaves, still diagnosing the issue. Day 73: The soil is drying out super fast. The roots are coming up through the soil now. These girls are root bound for sure. Next grow will be 20 gallon pots for sure. Day 74: I’ve got a nitrogen deficiency on one of my phenos. Added a bit more Power Bloom 2-8-4. It’s a bit too early for these girls to be starving for nitrogen. A couple more weeks and I’ll let it fly. Day 77: That’s a wrap on week 5 of flower. 3-4 weeks until harvest!

This week was good. Its been a week since I made the flip..the ladies are already starting their stretch. Pistils are showing up all over the ladies, which is a good sign of stable genetics being that I used feminized seeds. Right now I am giving them the transition stage feeding schedule. This will be my 1st time using bloom booster, I intend to start adding kool bloom to the feedings this week. Also I increased the intensity of the grow light to 100% Yesterday. What a beautiful strain Orange Hill Special is, nice and bushy, great internodal spacing, sturdy and healthy. Happier and happier with how this grow is going. The less beautiful parts on top are my doing, my blind as a bat FIM destroyed half the top of the plant. More patience next time... The super soil is still performing great and I´m pushing up the dimmer to get the ladies used to more light, very carefully because leaves are folding every time. Some of you might be happy to find my European recipe/shopping list for super soil. I tried to make it with widely offered products throughout Europe. Feel free to use it and elaborate on it. If one product is not available in your country, please check the brands at the bottom, which might be available in your country, and substitute. The only thing one could add to the recipe (which I did but forgot in the shopping list) is some Epsom salt. Fed them again with my permaculture tea, all seem to flourish and smells are starting to come from the plant, with that same distinct dankiness I had in earlier grows with this tea. See the germination page and other diaries for more info on my Perma tea. Now they were big enough, some might even say too big, to start the real training. I always love to give them a little bend the week before, to get used to the idea. With some sterilized bamboo sticks I pushed the plants down to expose their sexy undersides. week intel: we reached the peak of flowering stage and need to cause a little more e.c stress from this week so e.c stress is twice a week i reduced the amount of Nitrogen and calcium and stopped feeding silicate in other hand i raised the amount of base nutrient and booster short story version: more K & P - less N stresses : a little E.C stress around 1 and 1.2 twice a week from this week feeding: i feed them 3 times this week with this order : day 1 : i feed them high with base nutrients(calcium & micros (half dose) + Bloom) about 566 ppm - 1.1 e.c to cause a little stress. day 3 : i feed them low dose of Top-Max + B-52 around 392 ppm - 0.7 e.c to let them recover a little but not fully recover still a little stress will caused. day 5 : i feed them high dose of Feeding Booster around 630 ppm - 1.2 e.c to cause e.c stress again guide of the week : e.c stress if done correctly is one of the very few ways to increase quality in all aspects ( color , aroma , taste , bud structure , resin contents ) but if you over do it , listen carefully brother : it can reduce quality in every aspect so always look for signs and never reach the red line

Great week. Put in soil on the 29 and seen the cute little head this morning. Pic is from the evening Oct 3 is the end of the first week. And have been impressed. She is standing on her own with no support.

I check trichomes on one of the girls (purple one) And its still not ready. From last week they put on Weight 💪 Can't wait for harvest 😀

This Sexy Moma grew 9 inches this past week.!! And, it started to flower. I am really please at her growth and fullness. This was another hot, hot week with a big rainstorm. Take a look at the measuring cup, it is full of rainwater. Second Time Around Candy continues to grow. It is beautiful and very full. All nutrients during this grow are from @Advance Nutrients Jungle Juice. It is touted as the only nutrient that I will need. One just need to make the solution stronger as the plant matures. Based on Sexy Moma's growth, I would say it is working!! The directions say to “stir vigorously” and that is true. It is very clumpy and I had to stir and shake the bottle a lot. As your plant is in veg and growing larger, directions say to up your Jungle Juice to 4 ml per liter. If my calculations are correct, I am using approx. 5 tablespoons per 5 gallon bucket. 1 gal is 3.78 liters 5 gallons=18.92 liters 4ml jungle juice per liter x 18.92 liters= 75.7 ml which is = to 5.119 tablespoons per 5 gallon bucket of water As always, Let’s Chat it up AND Likes and comments are appreciated
