2018-04-10 Day 1 I gave the girls water and nutrients yesterday so nothing to drink today. Turned them 90 degrees today, to give my girls as much lightexposure as possible. The flowers get bigger and bigger for each day, Overall the ladies look really good, the colors are very nice, they look healthy. Somehow the photos of nr1 got lost, very strange, but great pics of nr2. Also added videos of them both. Power Plant XL nr 1 is 67 cm Power Plant XL nr 2 is 68 cm ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Strain information Genetics for the famous Power Plant were captured by a group of Dutch growers on a trip to South Africa, back in the 90’s. They managed to breed a strain that was soon a popular choice in coffee shops of the Netherlands, most likely due to the soaring and intense Sativa high. Zambeza Seeds thought that the productiveness of Power Plant should never be forgotten and created an updated version, to bring the legend back to live. Power Plant XL yields up to 600-750g/m² in a flowering period of approximately 55 days! The efficiency and productiveness of Power Plant XL fears no comparison with many recently bred cannabis strains. Indoor heights of 80-110cm make this sativa-dominant variety relatively easy to grow, but outdoor growers need to be aware of the power that is being released under the sun. Outdoor plants can easily reach heights of 150-200cm, and yields of 500-600g per plant. The taste of Power Plant XL can be described as a delightful blend of sweet and sour flavours, with subtle hints of pine tree in the background. Smokers who appreciate a very strong and uplifting Sativa high will be more than satisfied with the effects. One will experience feelings of euphoria that are definitely intense and uplifting, typical for a South African Sativa like this. The up-high can also evolve into being more relaxed, especially when larger quantities are being consumed. Some people suspect Power Plant to be grown in large commercial operations around the world. It doesn’t really matter if these assumptions are the truth or myths, but Zambeza’s breeders are very proud to bring this highly productive legend back to live. She rocketed up! Given her some LST to stretch her out and topped her one last time just before. Will be flipping in the next week or so, she’s got big internodal spacing, so this has helped her gain some more veg on her. Nothing fed other than a compost tea - the soil is doing totally fine without anything more added in yet.

Did a light feed flush on Saturday 10-11 and started her on 12/12. Got her first Bloom feed on 10-14. Shes already moved, from 3 days to every other for water. also did a light foliar spray of epson salts. the day she flipped, so it wouldnt affect the sites. after 2 days, she already showing hairs in her bud sites. much quicker than my first time. it took a week. im happy with her space, hopefully don't have to do much till, day 21ish! Oh and Silly kitty! 😻😹

📆 Harvest Week, 28 May - 4 June 2024 28-29 May - Observed and let the plant mature. 30 May- 3 Jun - Flushed plant. 4 Jun - Harvest (see pictures). 📑 The final week. Harvest time. Although I have destroyed my netting getting her cut the way I want to hang, it was well worth it. Larger limbs take a little longer to dry and that is what I need, a slower dry. For this reason I’m only removing larger and yellowing leaves. I’m hoping on 14 days in a closet controlled environment at 55% RH and 70 degrees F. Then it will be trimmed and placed into 1 quart mason jars with Boveda 62% TerpShield, and burped daily until a RH of 62% is maintained for long term storage. Overall Grow Review: With all environmental conditions met, this plant can get as big as you want it to. But to get big buds you have to carefully balance your nutrients to get maximum production. Reflecting back over the weeks, this is what ultimately caused the buds to be smaller than anticipated. I do not believe she was adequately feed during flower. This is a much bigger plant than I am normally use to growing, and I did not get into the habit of checking the solution PPM in-between scheduled weekly feeding changes. So when she started flowering I suspect she became a more heavy feeder, nutrients should have been changed twice per week or every 5 days depending. Only a guess. Would I grow it again? This is not my first Wedding Cake grow - so absolutely! Smoq Report: The smoke has a very strong effect that comes on slow and stays for a while! A nice head and body buzz that brings out talk and laughter. Nice for recreational or medicinal use. Easy harvest not a terrible amount of leaves. Drying can be difficult at times depending on weather conditions due to the density of the buds, watch close. Dry went well

the plants are fine. for 2 weeks I have increased the fertilizers and they are responding well. the strawberry is about two weeks ahead of the tropicanna. the smell is intense and very sweet👽

She has stretched a bit this week and started to show flowers. I removed a few leaves, and I did another refill of the reservoir. That's all that happened this week.

Well I'm a bit upset last week I ended up dropping my ph meter in a tank of nutes I was mixing and by the time I got it out the meter was junk. I was planning on flushing the crystal but had to wait another week for the meter. I suppose the good thing to take from this was I found out why I was having issues with my plants. When the new ph meter came in I went to check my run off and my nutes that I had all ready mixed up. It turns out that my meter i had been using this whole grow was off by about -2-2.5 so this whole time I had been feeding the plants at around 3ph smfh. I cant believe they look how they do knowing what went on this whole time. Fastbuds crystal meth is 3days into flush and i will be cutting it down this weekend most likely. Mephisto hubbabubbasmelloscope is smelling like sweet sweet candy and is thick in resin Bighead seeds freeze berry/ blueberry crumble has a dank pungent stank to it and also is frosty but larrfy Big bomb is still growing thick and have bud sites everywhere Now I'm ready for the next batch and ready to get dialed in!

I would like to reveg, for next round or just pop new. I have plans to make an ultimate strain. I want to chop in 7 days but I made some seeds. Xmas try would be nice after 14 day dry. everything is precalculated pushing to finish faster

I defoliated the Plant for the first time and adjusted the LST to the growth of the plant. I found the first white pistils shooting out from the plant which shows me she is ready to go into flower. Until now i am very happy with the progress, still no issues :)
