Dear diary, Week 10 total and week 1 of flower is behind us. Will just be making sure all tops are exposed and somewhat in the right place as I let them stretch for about 21 days before some defoliation. 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸 ⏰ Day 67: Feeding was given in the evening with a solution of 1.87ms and pH of 5.6. During this feeding, I guided most of the tops into their designated positions within the net, ensuring they are adequately spread out to receive optimal light. I also checked the runoff, which measured 2.3ms, but considering the extra dissolved salts from full draining and collection that would be higher that it really is, I will aim to bring it back to the desired range of 1.65-1.7ms to be sure. ⏰ Day 68: In the evening, the plants were fed with a solution of 1.64ms at a pH of 5.8. ⏰ Day 69: Evening feeding consisted of a solution with 1.66ms strength and a pH of 5.9. I also took the opportunity to confirm that the lights were positioned at a 48cm distance from the canopy. Additionally, I'm testing the exhaust system by venting it outside the room. Currently, the relative humidity (RH) ranges from 53-55% during lights-off and 58-60% during lights-on, while the temperatures remain around 18°C with lights off and 23.5°C with lights on. These conditions fall within the desired vPD (vapor pressure deficit) range of 0.95-1.2. ⏰ Day 70: Feeding was carried out in the evening using a solution with a strength of 1.66ms and a pH of 5.9. To enhance air circulation, I added a fan at the top of the tent. Furthermore, I checked the light intensity, which measured around 760-780ppfd. ⏰ Day 71: During the evening feeding, the plants received a solution with a strength of 1.64ms and a pH of 6.4. The RH levels range from 55-65% as the girls get more bushy, while temperatures vary between 23-18°C, depending on whether the lights are on or off. ⏰ Day 72: Evening feeding included a solution with 1.64ms strength and a pH of 6.4. ⏰ Day 73: The plants were fed with a solution having a strength of 1.66ms and a pH of 6.0. As indicated by the feeding schedule, the A+B mix was increased to 3.5ml/l. I also ensured that the lights were positioned approximately 50cm above the canopy and set to 90% intensity to provide additional heat.

Week 20 of veg! Final few hours untill 12/12, I honestly have no idea what to expect in the next few weeks with this , the plants been topped numerous times, branches all set out nicely, slight bit of defoliation untill I can see where the main bud sites are.

I am a bit late to updating, but I'm here! She has been growing beautifully! I've been trying to situate the light because I have been noticing some signs of light stress. I turned the light intensity down to 80% and it seems to be improving. I have noticed the leaf tips are turning a light green. I fed nutrients and 1/4 teaspoon of Recharge last night, and I used a 1/2 teaspoon the feeding prior to that. I'm guessing it may be from the additional feeding of Recharge, so I'm going to keep an eye on things. I did my first topping to the main stem and the side growth to see the outcome. Only Massive Topcolas, with konic formed dense Buds She smells very various and complex, like Fruits, Herbs, Perfum, Diesel. Depends how near you are, or if you cut her,If you break the flower she turns out the more Diesel part I am very courious to her Taste and effects I had very much fun with this Grow. 6/13 - It's the beginning of week 3 and 2 of my 3 Jack Herers are suffering from Zinc deficiency. I noticed this yesterday and believe this is a root issue and not a pH issue. They have most likely outgrown these little 4 inch nursery pots and used up all the nutrients in the soil. I'm about a week late in transplanting them as is. I was going to do it last week, but my schedule got thrown off. I knew I would have to leave them in a bit longer so I gave them a very light feeding last week as I was afraid to burn them. However, it turns out for these two, it most likely wasn't enough. I will be transplanting them into 1 gal pots tomorrow with brand new Roots Organic original soil amended with Roots Organics Uprising Foundation. That should take care of any issues. 6/15 - Transplanted all three Jacks into 1 gallon pots. I started with Roots Organics Original soil then added some Oregonism XL to the root ball and a good amount inside of the hole before planting. Then, I top dressed all with some Uprising Foundation also by Roots Organics. . For gnat prevention, I used Bti (Bacillus thuringiensis) aka mosquito bits. I also added some Uprising Grow, as a dry amendment to the one plant that were showing deficiencies for a little extra boost going forward. Finally, I watered everyone with compost tea that I brewed for 18 hrs. They are already looking stronger and healthier.

New Home for the Ladies

Operation Flower of the Jungle is a Go! Second week of flower and these ladies are stretching and blooming! A part from the stretch and flowers coming out, there hasn't been much change. Which said like that seems like it's nothing but there has been a huge flower production in the past week. Were gonna have some nice jungle nuggets. Upped the nutrients 1ml/L

Used bud clips to spread the branches out after topping to the 4th node. Doing well and super vigorous. Did some minor defoliation and set up a blumat this week.

D28 - The first day in the fourth week of veg for Nordle #2 and the start of the third week for #1. I gave both girls around 2.5-liters of the compost tea I started brewing yesterday, and for once, I remembered to check the pH and adjust it to 6.5. Yay, progress! D29 - Today, it was finally time to top the second girl. She was already seven nodes tall, around 30 cm. First, I got everything together as I prefer to have what I need before starting instead of running around looking for something mid-process: Snips, a couple of glasses with water to put cuttings in, bonsai wire and soil staples, clone-gel and a new razor blade, dwc cloner, peppermint oil and Q-tip. After cleaning the snips thoroughly with alcohol, I topped her just above her fourth node. I'm going to mainline her, so I removed everything below the fourth as well. She went from a lush lady to a stick figure! I secured her remaining two branches using staples and wire. The final touch in the tent was to put some peppermint oil on a Q-tip. Bugs and pests are attracted to the scent of injured plants. On the other hand, they hate the smell of peppermint oil, and it should deter the critters even though the girl smells like a buffet. I bought this tiny DWC system for a few bucks off Amazon a while back and want to try it as a cloner. (The primary purpose of this cloning project is to practice taking clones, plus see how well this hydro system works.) I trimmed each cutting before lightly scraping the stalk, making a fresh cut with the razor blade, and finally into a net-pot. I had planned to put some clone-gel into the water, but it turned out that the bottle had gone bad since last time. Oh well, pure water for this test run then. Finally, I cut up all the removed leaves and stalks into small pieces and distributed them on top of the soil in the pot. Have to keep that nutrition cycle going. Plus, like this, I don't have to worry about safely disposing those telltale leaves. Win-win in my book. D34 - The final day in the fourth week of veg for Nordle #2 and the end of the third week for #1. #2 has recovered great after her first topping, and I'm planning on doing her second topping tomorrow, six days after the first. #1 is a week behind so I'm planning on topping her in a couple of days as I want to make sure that her fourth node is at the same height as the fourth node on the second girl. The clones are looking really healthy but no roots yet but maybe that is to be expected considering that I'm using no rooting hormones.

Was a normal week for a seedling. Has been growing well under the spider farmer SF-1000 led light. Only nutrition till tomorrow has been blue planet liquid seaweed.
