Hello Diary. The first week of vegetation is over. The plants thrive nicely, look healthy and satisfied. 😀 Purple Punch # 1 grew 11 cm in the first week of vegetation while Purple Punch # 2 reached 7 cm. I remind you that I had to repeat the germination of another Purple Punch, so it’s lower. In addition to the nutrients that I mixed into the soil at planting, I started adding BioBizz’s Root-Juice. I regulate the humidity with a humidifier, so the humidity varies between 50% and 60%. With Purple Punch on the “Farm” there is also one Watermelon Auto that keeps them company. Let’s see what the first week looked like. 27/01/2021 - Day 1. Official first day of vegetation. 29/01/2021 - Day 3. Watering. I prepared 4 liters of water but each plant got about 1 liter. p.H. I regulated with Plagron’s Lemon Kick at 6.1 and added 4ml / lit Root-Juice from BioBizz. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 22.9 degrees and 50% humidity. 02/02/2021 - Day 7. Photographing and watering. After the photo shoot, I watered the plants, each getting about 1.5 lit. This time I didn't add any extras I just adjusted the p.H to 6.3. and the water temperature was 20.2 degrees. D57/FD29 - Thing going grand with the Cookies so far (enjoying growing these Cookie Based Strains). Smell from it is divine! Touch a stem and its a lovely citrus smell left on you for ages! Noted in a previous comment, like a perfect sweetness, fresh lemonade. You'd wear it as an aftershave alright even!!! :P They're drinking a ton but not taking on as much feed (as I've come to expect now in flower) so dropped the base and bloom by 10% (same recommended ratio of 1:1) and kept the PK9/18 booster in there at what would be recommended strength for this week...its the same as last week but week 1 (week 4 of flower) of PK9/18 should have been double...didn't want to overdo it as when I used recommended strength 1st time I got it, it created some serious root zone acidification (Which could have been all the K getting used up but was a mare getting the pH up from 4.something every day!!!). Did my usual root flush/wash before adding feed as the EC had crept up to 2.2 (and I know from experience, that starts messing with your numbers if you don't wash that out right) and took about 50L-60L to get the tank to 0.3EC (base is 0.2) was was a lot of salt sitting on/in the roots. Had a ton of underscreen dead leaf to pick up and just cut some wee straggly offshoots (I know, bad idea this late in flower but they were basically dead/no nutritional value left so basically a bug magnet). Still waiting on Bluelab to send me the RMA approved pH pen...been 2 weeks now since the RMA was approved and still no postage - using an "essentials" pH meter and just dipping in Calibration Fluids between each feed add to ensure some accuracy (As you can see from my recipe page, I like to know what the feed does to the pH - also gives an idea on what they're feeding on when you see pH swings in a different direction that expected). Geeklight also got back to me. In all fairness, I've been dealing with them direct (Got the light fixture from Alibaba, direct from China - big gamble, right???) and they have been more than helpful. I have been telling them about the light randomly coming on at 5% (lowest brightness) and provided evidence; turns out someone else now noticed the same issue with the Remote App controlled variant too and they believed it was a loose control board/wire. They said they did some stuff and that fixed it but I also thought mine was fixed by forcing the dimmer to 0% and it still randomly happened (even though it didn't do it for weeks) so the other person may still get a surprise!! 😋 So, I took out the driver today, pulled out the control board and all wires seemed good and no looseness in the control board (although it does look slightly bent as the Spade for the IR/UV switch isn't fully bedded in). But, like I say, in all fairness to Geeklight, they're posing me a new control board tomorrow from China AND giving me the longer driver cables so as I can put the driver outside of the tent! Give me a bit more room for my Flower Initiator (and hopefully UVB Tube) and great to see them honouring the Warranty. RHC Seems to be flowering nicely as can been seen from the pics. Stacking well, buds coming along. Slight pinkish tip to the pistils on some buds but not the shocking pink as you'd see in the sales pics...hopefully it goes there though! Also noticing a bit of an early frost on a few flowers...like real good frost! And this is only day 1 of week 5 (I know, I do this diary arse about face)!!! Hoping Geeklight get this driver control board and longer cables to me quick so as I can get the driver out of the tent as I'd really like to get the UVB in there to frost them up in a week or 2!!! May only be getting about 9" clearance though so dunno, could be dangerous!!! 12" is the lowest recommended...but then, I could do the 15 min burst lighting (On 15, off 45 min every hour) so lower the risk of burn but get them more exposure (but lowers the lifetime of the tube). They get UVA from the LED's on the light at the moment for a 1/3 of the day and have been since early veg so should be hardened to it by now!!! Anyway, think that's enough s**te chatted by me!!! Ewerything works and im so bananas right now and broud of those ladys that comment will be, Start u'r own project and dont race becouse somebody may have 20+year of more info and they get moster no epic size planta but thats the goal be like pro at this lifetime. Week 9 .......... Flower Week.........June 6 to 12, 2020 ........ Days 57 to 63 from germination The two girl are sure opposites of each other in how this grow is turning out😂😂👍 GSC2 didn’t get a good transplant and she has really suffered for it........add in that both of them were battling high pH in first weeks and thus the reason for the transplant from the fabric pots into plastic.......she is actually hanging in there and this week progressed well. GSC on the other hand I just have to put into her own tent!!!! She is too freaking big!!!!! I can’t fit her in with the other flowering girls and have any success at the grow👍💪👊😉 The environment is not where it needs to be though for flower so added another humidity controller and smaller full spectrum light to bump up to 300 watt range in the veg/flower tent now. Had limited choice with a limited budget and needed it now. I could go through more fooling around for only roughly 3 more weeks before others are done and could combine the plants.......good excuse though to have increased flexibility going forward😉😉😉👍 Feed amount have been as expected with GSC taking 4L most days while GSC2 is more of 2.5L range when feeding. Have noticed they are taking more water in the taller 3 gallon plastic pots. That is a lot of bottles listed but they are never fed that all at once. That is just a full list of products used this week and the dosage in that feed. I have been holding the feed numbers around 1000 ppm the last week and I think she can take more so have bumped that up to 1300 range for the next week. Expect to see some tip burn as pushing them but very little so far. GSC is now 36” and 36” wide but her bud sites are not very big in my opinion. I have replaced G.P. Massive with A.N.Big Bud for now as I don’t need her getting any taller......just grow BIG BUD😃😃 GSC2 is being fed the same schedule as GSC and the same feed so all numbers are the same. GSC2 is only 17” tall though and 24” wide. GSC Environment has been hovering at 80 degrees and 50 percent humidity most of the days. (Another Humidity controller and light arrive this week.) GSC2 Environment has been hovering at 79 degrees and 61 percent humidity for most of the week. Yeast and sugar CO2 in use. Fast Buds strain is solid👊💪👍😍 as is evident in GSC......all issues are grower related to pH problems in first three weeks of their life. Little more detail: June 6, Day 57 - 8L mixture with BigBud @ 2ml, VeloKelp, Rezin, liquid Wt, Vitathrive, Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml, CalMag @ 1ml = 1275ppm and 6.1pH - GSC took 5L and GSC took 3L. - turning lights down yesterday helped. Both girls leaves are standing up more now, June 7, Day 58 - debated on feed but mixed 8L with BigBud @ 2ml, Rhinoskin, VeloKelp, Rezin, liquid Wt @ 1.5ml, Dual Fuel @ 1ml = 1015ppm and 5.6pH - GSC took 6L and GSC2 2L.......good run off from GSC but none from GSC2 - GSC tent needs more humidity in it......working on it - GSC2 is not looking all that great with her long fan leaves. June 8, Day 59 - dry out day - GSC is doing very well and looking big. - GSC2 is doing better since in the flower tent and under the T5 light. June 9, Day 60 - mixed 8L water with Massive and Terpinator @ 3ml, Sensizyme, Rezin, Vitathrive @ 2ml, Liquid Wt @ 1.5ml, Dual Fuel @ 1ml = 1050ppm and 5.6pH - GSC given 5L and GSC2 was 3L. - Full strength feed as things are going okay overall. - GSC2 is getting taller and lower branches standing up more now. - GSC is happy by herself😀 June 10, Day 61 - 6L mixture with BigBud, Rezin @ 2ml, Liquid Wt @ 1.5ml = 475ppm - 4L for GSC and 2L for GSC2 - fair bit of runoff - GSC2 still has lots of leaves but they are not touching the pot anymore, she is getting taller. - GSC is really happy with her leaves way up. Buds are getting bigger as well......slowly😳 June 11, Day 62 - Dry out day today. - left them alone. - GSC will remain by herself. Need to get the humidity up over the 53% though. Temp is fine at 79 degrees. June 12, Day 63 - 8L mixture with Terpinator @ 3ml, BigBud, Rezin, Vitathrive @ 2ml, Sensyzime, Liquid Wt, Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml, CalMag @ 1ml = 1350ppm and pH to 5.6 - GSC took 5L and GSC2 was 3L.......good runoff amounts from both. - GSC2 taken off the milk crate today. Stripped more leaves as well. Looking better at the end of the week👍

This is where I really started to take a lot more pictures! Everything was coming along great, I had some slight nutrient lockout starting this week but I took care of it quickly! They respond very well to the training.

I started to flush the cookies gelato and Royal Bluematic 1. They look good and I can't wait anymore, they smell so good and are so sticky too. I have cut the yellow and burnt leaves. I think i will cut them soon and harvest in less than a week. The HulkBerry 2 follow 2 weeks late on the others or something like that, and my royal Bluematic 2 is still very strange, but is making quite a lot of small buds, very weak but look to be growing.

She is doing great. Starting to flush her and harvest is next week.

📆 Semana 7 La Swag MDC sigue sorprendiendo con su personalidad fuera de lo común. Los cogollos han pegado un buen salto esta semana: más densos, más definidos y con una cobertura de tricomas que empieza a ser seria. Pero lo que realmente la distingue sigue siendo su morpho swag, esas hojas anómalas que ahora también brillan con resina, aportando una estética muy particular al conjunto. El plan nutricional con XpertNutrients se mantiene, ajustado con precisión para evitar excesos. La planta sigue respondiendo sin quejarse, asimilando bien y mostrando una evolución saludable. Los riegos están afinados al detalle, permitiendo una buena oxigenación del sustrato y evitando encharcamientos innecesarios. La luz de los Adlite continúa haciendo un trabajo excelente. Gracias a su estructura abierta, esta Swag está recibiendo luz incluso en las zonas más profundas, lo que se traduce en un desarrollo parejo y en cogollos internos que no se quedan atrás. El clima del cultivo sigue estable: temperaturas entre 22 y 25 °C, con humedad controlada cerca del 55%. El flujo de aire es constante, y no hay rastro de hongos ni otros problemas derivados del ambiente. En lo aromático, se empieza a notar una mezcla cada vez más interesante: una base frutal con notas herbales que se va volviendo más compleja con cada día. Los tricomas ya cubren la mayoría de las superficies y siguen mayormente lechosos, sin señales claras de madurez total aún. Una planta muy curiosa, distinta en todos los sentidos. ¡Seguimos creciendo fuerte! 💪

Day 15 Update : Decided to grab a tape measure to check canopy heights on a whim and discovered that my light was hanging 35 inches from “Cellie” Cereal and Milk . Wowzers 👀! So I raised the plant to be 26 inches from the light that I also dimmed down to about 40% . It works out that I can try to get the most out of the end of flower stretch for the older gal who shall no more than be mentioned for reference to accentuate the great glorious glamorous “Cellie”. The humidity plummeted after I did a major defoliation of the older gals so I adjusted the airflow rate of the lower in-line fan and the upper inline exhaust fan with the carbon filter . I lowered them both to the lowest setting & the humidity returned to “normal” Let me explain my reasonings/thinking behind my adjustments which are experimental at BEST. It’s worth also mentioning without having to preset a single thing on my 70pint Dehumidifier located inside this tent it is legitimately only plugged into my PRESET humidistat controller which is set to 50%-46% RH WITH an alarm on highs of 55% and lows of 43% . In real life what this translates to is when this humidity controller triggers the dehumidifier ON @50%RH immediately the fan of the Dehumidifier begins running. However this does not help the rising humidity that is occurring (it will reach 55%-60.2%RH ). Given a fixed amount of time , the condenser(atleast what it sounds like . .again, it could be anything) turns on . It is when this “condenser” “sounding” component begins working that the humidity IMMEDIATELY plummets down to my low point of 46% So to make a long story short the humidity gets vacuumed to 46%RH & the dehumidifier turns off, bc of the PURPOSEFUL EXPERIMENTAL TWEAKING making all air exchange fans low leveled the humidity slowly but steadily rises to 50%RH then the dehumidifier is triggered on but only the fans initially and the humidity eventually reaches 55%RH-60.2%RH & then the humidity gets all its hair snatched out by the dehumidifier and drops back down to 46%RH. 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨 with all that said of anybody was even interested per my tents leaf canopy height temperature average good to great OR LITE GREEN TO DARK GREEN VPD for my temperature begins @ 60 & ends @ 52 which is kind of a perfect storm for OUR GIRL “CELLIE” oooooooorrrrrrrrrrr sssssssoooooo I think/hope . She still hasn’t needed watering since being transplanted, she should now ready and willing to stretch those toes and we need the opportunities to top water that soil a few times to make those dry amendments available to her . More pics of later the week coming as we go . . Hopefully . Diligence is a practice Day #17: giving her some water today, no specific amount just until she feels the right amount of “heavy”. She was given 3 different batches of water once ph’d to 6.3 once ph’d to 6.7 one ph’d to 6.5. She’s grown an inch in 2 days. Also swapped out the smart hygrometer system to a different brand . So far it has all the capability I was looking for but I need to run 2 more experiments to know for certain it lives up to my needs and its price tag 😁 Day 18 Update: she grew an inch taller nice 👍 The smart hygrometer system has reported/experience Bluetooth failures twice already(although I don’t know exactly what that means considering I purchased this for it’s Wifi capabilities ) I didn’t think to check it whilst I was away so I cannot yet say If it meets my final expectation/need I bought a soil ph meter & it indicates “my mix” is at 3.1 ph 👀 hmm 🤔 I’m wondering if this is a must fix or can I get by .eventually she will be transplanted and at that time I can use my new digital soil ph probe to construct her new blend moving forward but I am curious is I mixed another batch at 3 something ph would it matter ? In the beginning I wasn’t ph’ing any of my watering just because I assumed my soil mixture was highly acidic because of the 70ish pecernr peat moss base . I also assumed that it would be acid fixing for the water I put in it and therefore wouldn’t need to ph it and I did just fine just giving plain old tap water when thirsty until I experience VPD issues & in an effort to pinpoint what my exact issue was and how to fix it I of course eliminated all the variables and dialed in on my ph of my feed water and now my soil so it leaves me wondering does the soil need to be relatively 6.1 ph or is the 3.1 I’m flying at alright also . I checked the other 3 currently in here getting through flower & two of them are in the 3’s for ph & one of them is 6.2(the largest of them all) how ever she was the largest of them all always and oddly enough I mixed one big batch for them and transplanted them at the same time so I get two of them having the same ph as “Cellie” but the other that is in ph heaven is an oddball Should I top her here or supercrop later hmm I need to decide my vision for this thing Day 19 Update: ponytailed her youngest internode for about 16hrs she aggressively popped out of it twice ! It didn’t even work for 24hrs when I try it again it’ll be before the internode is so strong . Also rigged up a 16in oscillating wall-fan that currently being held with 2 zip ties , 2 rubber bands , & a smidget of duct tape and MAJORITY OF FAITH keeping it in place . The biggest plus to my added circulation is that I got the 16in fan for ! A win is a win . Pics uploads will be held for the next 3 days until the end of week 3 upload . Drop a thumbs up Day 20 Update : THE FAN FELL! But no one was damaged or injured . I re-rigged it . This time with duct tape , 3 popsicle sticks , 2 heavy duty zip ties & 1 regular strength zip tie . SHES SOLID NOW 😂 I did some solid rigging this time & have videoed my handy work . Also I forgot to turn my A/C back on before leaving the house so temps and humidity skyrocketed and swung for 9 hours until I got home . The temp in the tent was 84.4 and the humidity went from 42.4 to 57.5 to 42 every three mins. Day 21 Update : SHES A PRETTY GIRL. RQS says Cereal Milk is a slightly sativa dominant hybrid but the pheno of this particular seed seems to lean more towards indica I’m not mad at it ! I’m getting more stoked to see what she can do. She still hasn’t received any additional water since day #18.

This is the start of week 5 ! Looking like i going to top Obi#1 soon shes getting a big thick canopy on her and shes's doing great ! Obi#2 is catching up slowly but surely she's going to be a big beautiful lady as well !! Things are going well in the lab not to many prolblems I fixed the humididy to above 50 % now so we are rocking and rolling ! <3 Thanks for showing me some love ladies and gents makes me feel appreciated for what I do .
