I started picking for forbidden fruits the day after last week’s post, checking the colas with the scope and only picking tops that were approx 10-20% amber. As I snipped colas I also removed a lot of upper fan leaves, this is to allow light to reach lower buds for a final ripening. Once picked, I placed approx 100g in each brown paper bag, folded the top and sat on a rack. I slowly rolled the bags around once or twice a day just so the buds didn’t stick together. Seems to have worked well, no dreaded hay smell to note and nicely dried. I think I’ll be taking some more colas tops off in a few days time and I’ll keep the plants alive for another week or two, depending on how fast they come along. I have 4 Mimosa EVO (no diary) about 7 weeks into veg at the moment and I think it would be nice to give them another 2 weeks as I need big plants to make clones from them, ready for the next diary coming soon... hopefully with successfully taken clones 😊

Monday. March 1st. Plants were growing very good they doubled in Size, I think next Week iam going to feed them with N UNtil now they got only Water with beneficals, to feed the Microbaterias in the Soil Those Girls look very Happy, Iam going to defoilate the lower 30 percent of the Plants

I have spent the last week studying how to use COB led efficiently. On my last grow I just whacked them straight up to "11" and hoped for the best. This grow I intend to change track and try and use the least amount of light possible to get the best results. To be fair my light is way over spec for my 60x60 tent. I want to use the dimmer to lower the intensity of the light to more than adequately match the needs of my space. Then I can use the over head of light intensity that I have as the grow progresses into flower. I would enjoy any comments or feedback any advice is good advice in my opinion.

Hello, nouvelle session, et 1ere expérience cette fois ci en coco. Avec une nouvelle gamme d’engrais de chez Canna, ainsi que le substrat en coco de chez Canna aussi J’ai constaté que les graines de Quick Critical+ ont germées très vite par rapport à la terre, ici, à peine 72h pour les 1ères. Et un joli 100% pour la germination!! Merci dinafem!👍🔥 J’ai pu aussi constaté que le réglage du PH et de l’Ec prennent ici toute leur importance,, puisque pour mes 1er arrosages j’ai oublié de contrôler l’Ec, résultat, légère brûlure sur le bout des 1ères feuilles,, j’ai immédiatement corrigé en contrôlant et en ajustant l’Ec,, les choses devraient rentrer dans l’ordre maintenant. Voilà pour cette 1ere semaine de découverte de la culture en coco,,, A la semaine prochaine... Happy grow...😎

Still had around 1 gallon of water left in the wicking buckets. They hold around 2 gallons. Flipped light to 12/12 today.

I started topping the plants to enhance branch growth to increase tops. The weather has been decent but hazy from the Canadian wildfires. Growth is vigorous.

DAY 56 Flowering: Well here we are growmies. It is that time.... we have bud porn , beautiful leaves naturally fading and adding to the Autumn looking harvest. The 2 Girl scout cookies have kept a really happy pace this week with the #2 still pushing fresh pistils out and swelling. She is getting nice and tacky too. Both of the girls smell like a candy shop raid now too. My filters are useless in regards to these ladies but I am not complaining . Lol After I finished the video , I decided it was time for the #2 Girl , who is now sat in the dark trying to figure out where the sun and her sister has gone. She will get 48 hours , then be trimmed for drying and curing. The other girl will be joining her some time this week too for sure but as her pistils are so fresh in a lot of places , she will get to dance a little longer . The Amnesia girls are slowly building trichs and bud weight now on their last stretch before ripening those trichs. Only the #3 has any real signs of fade so far too which could be down to wrong feeding when I assumed she was a Girl scout cookie. The buds on her look very much like the Amnesia too. Thet remind me of cacti close up !. The rectangular girl #2 has kept all her jewels tucked away inside her frame but i have made sure there is plenty of airflow within her bush to keep the nasties away. All in all they look very potent and I can already see the lost fine and forgotten tasks within those crystal ball trichs. Lol The guest critical cheese is slowly ambling along and looks bare in comparison to the other strains. She still has about 3 weeks , alongside the Amnesia haze , to fill out those long colas. I'm 90% sure this one is in her finishing week here. More amber trichromes are coming in daily. I don't wanna push her too far like last time because this strain turned pure amber and kinda lost some crystaly luster during the curing process. My light timer, grow tent, and light upgrades really made a big difference in bud development compared to my last run with Runtz basically leading to bigger more frostier buds. I'm dropping temps lower at night. I give it a couple liters a day to keep the top soil moist. Flushed water comes out 6.8 ish. My CO2 exhale bag was the biggest flop as it was expired and did not activate. I plan on 48 hours darkness before harvest starting today: the day of the eclipse. With the new moon we have a high pressure system that is peaking at night around 1028 dB. Water should be pushed up into the plant from roots. Coupled with lights out....all theoretical witch craft. I have a small 2x2 dark tent pictured which needs to have AC bring in cold fresh air from outside. If no fresh air added the tent gets humid and stagnant after a while. The darkness period is bringing out that strong and sweet 'medicinal' smell. If you ever tried weed labeled medicinal youd have an idea of what I mean. I guess thats the orange bud/chemo lineage traits. Before lights off the smell was more towards yeast fermentation smell and not soo sweet.

Day 46 of Flower, 93 since germination. Starting to check the trichomes with my new wifi microscope. Looks like Lemon Extract has a scattering of amber trichome heads, but only in bud nearest the light. All other look milky and glassy. I'm thinking Lemon Extract might harvest in one week. The others, maybe two weeks. Gave the ladies their last feeding today. Just PH balanced water from here til harvest.

So it has come to an end of the 5th week of flowering . In this week i changed my reservoir for the first time. I spend more time monitoring the change of the reservoir and found out that the ppm of it was higher than the initial value. When i premix the solution it was around 850ppm but when i added it to the medium within 2 days it jumped to 1300-1400 . That caused a slight nutes burn but it was very mild. The other thing i found out is that the ph tends to become lower when it is added to the medium , i found some deficiencies on the leaves and i knew immediately that my ph was messed up. There are three things that i don’t really understand what i did wrong . 1.The size of the buds , since it is the end of week 5 into flowering . The buds seems underdeveloped compared to others. 2. I can’t see any trichomes clearly yet (very few) 3.why do i have a lot of sugar leaves and lots of small buds instead of few big buds. 🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨

Que pasa familia, ya estamos de vuelta, estás skunk huelen una barbaridad 10/10. Ya entramos en la recta final, se ve bien en el color amarillo de las hojas, que la propia planta chupa el alimento. Ph controlado temperatura y humedad están dentro de los parámetros, son una variedad con un porte Indico pero una floración algo más lenta, vaya puntas amigo, esas flores van a estar ricas. La semana que viene os vemos fumetillas, y sobre todo buenos humos.

02.11.'24 After 5 days of drying, this little girl who was a little bigger than a meter gave 950 grams and a little bit of popcorn...this picking was 870 and a little bit of popcorn, and 4-5 weeks ago during a storm, one branch broke, which yielded about 100, but let's say 80 for sure, a total of 950 grams of beautiful, huge, potent buds

Ooooiiieeeee! This plant is awesome, she's fox-tailing a little bit now so I'd say this is the last week for this plant. I can't wait for the smoke report on this one let me tell you.

Que pasa familia, vamos a añadir la primera semana de floración de estas Apple Fritter de RoyalQueenSeeds, empezamos con la temperatura que la tenemos entre los 21/25 grados, la humedad está entorno al 50%, el ph está en 6.2 , el foco actualmente lo tengo encendido 12 horas y la potencia es al 75% de lo que da el foco. También añado la gama de nutrientes de Agrobeta, que no falla, sin duda de la mejor alimentación que hay para tus plantas. Trasplantamos a macetas definitivas, 7 litros en este caso, también se ven bien verdes ya recuperaron la carencia de nitrógeno. Veremos estas próximas semanas como avanzan y se comportan en la floración.
