It's been a busy week. I have got some acoustic ducting. WARNING... Acoustic ducting has Fibre glass in it and is a MAJOR IRRITATENT to both skin and eyes and should be done in a well ventilated area with suitable protection. So, I have also switched from pure batmix to a 50/50 split with a good compost. I have done this as I'm not 100% happy with the level of water retention in the batmix, I'm finding it to be too much and I do not want to run into any issues. I would rather the soil drys out then I know exactly when to water. I have also increased the HPS to 400w (from 250w) it is very difficult to give plants too much light. I am spraying the tent whenever I can, with warm(ish) water to increase the humidity for a short while. I do have 1 plant that seems to be slightly stunted but I'm not worried just yet. I will be looking into fiming and LST probably next week to make sure they have a good base. I have also had to transplant the plants into another pot as the roots are growing like crazy at the moment. I also purchased a dimmer plug for the fan, as I don't need it to be on full all the time (it's a 6 inch fan with duel speed but thats far too much for what is needed now. Other than that all is good

Thoses ladies are smelling strong. One is about 2 week late on the other, i think he got different phenotype, and quite sure that the late one will have a bigger harvest. They are healthy and strong. I'll start to wash the first one in something like a week. Everything is going well 😎

Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain. Hi, exciting times, flowering, see some stratching, but not too much. Plant now drinks 2 liters a time, each 2 days. Befor I was giving 1 liter every 3 days. So water cosumption encreased more then 3 times. Smell is not strong yet, as expected. Not much really I need to do escept mixing fertilizer and water the plant.

Simply harvest, cut, hang, and dry. So frosty, so crispy. I love it!

Hung them to dry today, very happy to say I have found 3 very very good keeper phenos which doesn’t surprise me as I have grown many seeds of this before. The pictures and video tell more than words can say. I have named my favourite pheno ‘john wayne’ as I have a convoy swagger about my walk every time I look at her😂 I lost this pheno a few months ago and so relieved to have her back plus two other great phenos. Barneys absolutely provides some real fire genetics and I have been a fan since blue cheese and pineapple chunk were released many years ago.

Well the end of week 5 start of week 6 day 42 from seed I got some early signs of Pre Flower I want to say they are all girls ?!?!?! no hairs yet I'm hoping this week to see some, I took 3 clones also, one from each of the 3 remaining plants. once I get the high sign "no pun intended" hairs that is, I will start to chemically treat the best looking MILF. (Mother I'd Like to fertilize) I hope they are all girls like I said before this way I can get some genetic diversity instead of self pollinating the same MILF. On the observation side of things these plants have taken off in the last week they are all about even at 18" and the Fan leaf's are about 10'' across. The feeding seems to be spot on with no burn from the dry nuites mixed in to the coco. I gave just plain water today ON THE 25TH. I am feeling the Biologicals on this grow, The Mammoth P and the Enzymes are really doing a nice job of making the food available to the plants also the Fulife and Cargo Boost are really impressing me as well. This is why I love trying new things on my grows to help me become a more complete grower and really understanding the biology of the plant. It has been Hot these last few days in the 90's I think the C02 has been helping the plant deal with the high temps no sign of heat stress they are drinking a lot more lately respectively. that's it for this week hope the clones take and wish me luck on the MILF's. The colors are showing on this lady! They are beautiful! I couldn't believe how much she came into her own. I started to flush her and she's been hungry anyway. I taper off the nutes like nature intended. So last week was probably less than I added on the site. I will go back and fix it.

Seit ca 10 Tagen nur mehr Wasser. Herbst ist voll im Anmarsch! 🤓 Freue mich sehr. Den Pflanzen geht es sehr gut. Sie wurden seit Anfangs der Woche nur von unteren Topfseite gewässert. Meine Theorie dazu das der Dünger der sich im Boden noch enthält richtig genutzt wird. Gestern wurde von oben gewässert. Mir ist somit auch aufgefallen das die Pflanzen nicht mehr so durstig sind. Ich denke mir ich werde noch ca. einen Wochen ergänzen. Ich machte die Pflanze von oben bis unten in Herbstfarben sehen. Hoffe mein vorhaben es noch länger hinauszuziehen stellt sich positiv heraus.

Die dritte Blütewoche hat am letzten Samstag begonnen. Schaut aus als hätten sie das Lollipopping ganz gut überstanden. Der Geruch wird langsam intensiver, aber sehr angenehm. Fotos werden Ende der Woche geupdatet.

Crystal candy was a interesting grow. I battled ph issues off and on due to learning nutrition, and operator error basically. Still was a good harvest. Putting it in cure, in a cvault for approximately a month then to mason jars, and burping till desired humidity range in buds.
