Hello there and welcome to week 12, or the beginning of it anyway. Week 11 is now complete so please check that out! We start the week with 5l fertigation and some nice photos. Now that Bertha is gone the tent smells Karenish. See you tomorrow! Day 78: Added several more carnivorous plants to the budding collection. Enjoy! Day 79: Fertigated 5l. She's starting to mature now. Frost developing slower, buds fattening and ripening faster. Were maybe two weeks away here. Night 80: Added tent photo and vid. Day 81 update later today. Day 81: Added a lot of media. Got a cheap digital microscope to try and get better micro shots. As you can see Karen is nowhere near yet. Day 82: Things are moving very fast, just look at the difference today. I am certain were with 2 weeks of harvest. Does anyone have advice on flushing/not watering. Fertigated 5l. Day 83: At the current rate of maturation I think the end of next week maybe be harvest time. Height 51cm Day 84: Karens smell is really strong now it washes across your face when you open the tent. End of week summary: A full week of nothing but bud swelling and maturation. I still think she needs another 2 weeks. Unfortunately my living situation has rather abruptly changed and now I have a tough choice to make: harvest/destroy or move plants. There is a strong chance I will chop Karen at the end of next week if she is ready or not.

I have added 2 videos of the girls in addition to the photos! I used LST and defoliation for the Cream caramel! I am really excited :)

I just cleaned the roots and I'm waiting until it's dry to chop her down, I love the smell and the compact nuggets that she has,it's just a very nice genetic to grow.

Hello growers and tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 There has been much change this week!! First there was a big defoliation done, I cleaned the bottom of the plants. All the growth that wouldn't amount to anything because the light doesn't penetrate that low. Also took off the biggest fan leaves to give more room for light. Then finally switched to 12/12.. After just 36 hours after the defoliation there was a major change. New growth everywhere, colas started stretching upwards fast. By far the tallest girls in the tent. Her colas are stacking up nice and tight if she keeps that up we'll have some nice dense colas. 😁 Great reaction to the defoliation and 12/12 switch. I'm still watering every other day, After the defoliation I watered with only Enzymes 2ml/L to clean the roots a bit then started with the nutrientes again. I dropped the amount of grow nutrients from 3ml/L to 1ml/L and started adding bloom nutrientes 2ml/L for now. I'll slowly be upping the bloom nutrientes and after week 2 I'll no longer add grow nutrients. That's it for this week. Stay tuned to see how they flower. Stay safe!

So the only thing I wish couldve been different about this grow is that I wish she didnt stutter/stall with the flowering in the begining. She shot out pistils but stalled for like 2 weeks or so. So if she wouldve been flowering for the full time, I thibk I couldve gotten better product(I'm still impressed) but I feel like I couldve done something better with her. 7/26 Day 2 of drying. Everything's still wet. The room is 75 °F with 50%humidity 7/27 day 3 of drying. Everything felt crispy and dense. Humidity was 40% and temp was 75F 7/29 weighed and put into jars with stems the weight was 51.2 grams and without stems 45.5 grams.

So I ended the week with a defoliation and removed about 30 leafs to help increase light penatration because I'm only running g the light at 75% because of a few close buds to the light. I'm heading to my storage tomorrow to get a different light that's a 100w quantum boards style led. It's 30W less but I'll be able to get a bit more space between the light and the plants. Next to that nothing else new. Happy growing everyone!!!!

Hey hey Growmies, the last res change took place this week, she's running on just Ph'd tap water, I want to try out flushing. there's a lot of debate and bro-science around flushing increasing flavor, burn-ability and high. I don't care about all that and won't take part in that mess, all I know is that it makes the flowers prettier, and I like pretty things. 3 days into the flush (today) fan leaves and sugar leaves started turning purple with dark red stems, I will continue to let her run on tap water until she's self cannibalised with a pretty fade, at which point I will give her 24 hours of darkness without water, which will give the plant one last chance to squeeze out anything she's got. That will be somewhere next week, since some trichomes have turned amber, If you're wondering where the time-lapse went, I have started on 2 new diaries. both by Zamnesia, one is a Wedding Cake Auto and the other is a Regular Runtz. Trying out a new way to start my seeds in dwc, namely Kratky, so far it is working out okay.. but yeah I moved my grow cam to the veg closet. thanks for checking out my diary, bud. Week 7 Veg Report 🌿✨ Hey Grow Fam! 🌱 Week 7 of veg is here, and let me tell you, the grow room is buzzing with life! Each of the girls is showing off her unique personality, and I’m especially stoked about the Papaya Zoap—she’s really coming into her own! The scrog net is nearly filled out just how I wanted it, and I can feel we’re so close to flipping to flower. The anticipation is real! 😁 But before we get to flowering, let’s take a dive into something that makes this grow so smooth—ThinkGrow LED drivers and cables. ThinkGrow LED Drivers – Plugging Into Success 💡🔗 This week, I had a chance to work deeper with the ThinkGrow LED system, and honestly, it’s like a dream come true for efficiency. I’ve been using the TLD-4 Four Spectrum Control Channels Model One LED Driver, and let me break down how it works. The drivers attach directly to the bars—super sleek and no extra bulk. And, the connections? It’s a matter of matching the male and female connectors on the TDC-2 Daisy Chain Cord. It’s like a simple puzzle that snaps together perfectly. The TDC-4 cord takes it to the next level, connecting the top bars to the ICL-300 Inner-Canopy LED Bar, giving complete control and balance across every layer of my canopy. Why is this important? New update for week 12, concluding week 8 of flowering: Hi(gh) Folks! Thanks everyone for your input on my second grow question. I’m going for HighTV’s answer, the SOG with 9x4 main buds. Very nice to get everyone’s input on this, appreciate it! So another week done! They got their last nutrients Tuesday and on Thursday the 5 early ladies from Hempire got their first round of plain acidulated water. I flushed them a bit on Friday and Saturday to. Now they can dry out for a couple of days. I will flush them for the upcoming week and let them dry out before harvest next weekend. Im counting on them to swell up even further during this week. As for the rest of the 4 plants from Hempire, 4 from Royal Queen Seeds and 3 from Hy-Seeds, I will treat them as if this is another week 8, and they will get another dose of Flowering nutrients and PK. Then next week I will start to flush them also. I will have 2 full weeks to flush and let them dry out until my planned harvest on Saturday 5 January. I’m not even sure that will be early enough for the 4 RQS’s since they look like they have even more bud-growing to do, before they can start swelling! I will keep an eye on that. The 5 tall ladies, 2 from Hempire and 3 from Hy-Seeds show the nice thick Kushy buds i’m craving for, can’t wait to see the becoming nice and heavy! On the photos you see the slight diverence between the pheno’s, the left 2 plants grew the popcorn-buds on a stem, and the right ones have nice thick popcornbuds against the stem’s. The other to remaining Hempire plants also show these, apart from the early ladies offcourse. The early birds show a little stretching buds and nice purple colours. This was a good week to learn a few things about what I want to do for the next grow. This grow, I let the ladies grow to 5 nodes before topping to the third - next grow, I would top to the third when the 4th is clearly visible. I am about 1 week behind schedule, waiting for the nodes on the mainline to grow so they can be topped again. Going to top them into 8 main cola’s. Reduced water in the buckets to 7l so that the roots have to work a little harder because Cheech was showing signs of being over-watered. Lights remained at 60cm about the plants, 1ml of all nutrients per litre of water.
