Week 8: Having some issues with my lower leaves at the moment , but the rest of the plant is really good. We are also being hit by a big heat wave in here , temps outside reaching 40C, but I’m managing it well for now. I will probably have big issues when the drying comes - open to ideas 💡

These lights are a bit hot so I’m gonna upgrade to my Luxx 645s for the rest of this run.

I started germination of 1 orange sherbert bean on 29/12/2020. I pre moistened my rockwool cubes with ph balanced water to 6.4. Made sure the plug was just damp and not soaked. Using a small wooden dowel I increased the size of the plugs pre made hole. Than I sowed my bean into the hole. Ripped off a small piece of rockwool and mulched it up. Lightly filled the hole in with the mulched rockwool. Than stuck the plug into a misted humidity dome, to complete germination. Shouldn't take anymore than 4-5 days to see a sprout. Once I see some cotlydon leaves bursting to the surface. I will get the plug planted into some 1 gallon pots. Plus get this lady situated into her home. Cant wait! Some Background information on history with Orange Sherbert. I have grown orange sherbert out 3 times and all times had the same result. A shorter extremely branchy robust plant. That dominated the room. Loves training and really ups yeilds doing so. She produces an amazing canopy... just a sea of daggers. Her huge chunky colas pack and amazing orange tangy aroma and just taste like heavenly candy! Barneys Farm hit the nail on the head with this variety! She tends to have a little higher demand for potassium mid flower than most varieties. So a bit heavier on the pk booster and she will be mighty happy! Just a fabulous strain to work with.

Hey Growmies! I'm thrilled to share my latest project: two exceptional grow environments, each a lush green haven with 9 plants on plant rollers. We’re employing a blend of Scrog (Screen of Green) and Sog (Sea of Green) techniques. Each plant has its individual ScroG, directly connected to its air-pot, facilitating easy mobility and care within the tent. As the Room is on the cooler side at the moment, I've set up a Solea infrared heater, controlled by an Inkbird ITC-308 temperature controller, to maintain a cozy climate. Each tent is also equipped with a Spider Farmer Cool Mist humidifier for perfect humidity levels. Initially, I planned for identical setups in both tents, but adaptation is crucial. I encountered a challenge with the UR45 lights due to their single plug and UV/IR switches. To overcome this, in Tent 1, I’ve installed two UR45 lights: one dedicated to IR and the other to UV, each managed by a Meross smart plug. The Mars Hydro app manages the light and in-line fan controls in Tent 2, though it has its limitations. The ITC-308 takes care of the infrared heater, while the humidifier regulates itself. I'm really into this setup, but I'm already thinking about upgrading to a single grow controller for all devices. Excitingly, ‘Epic Buzz’ in Tent 1 is competing in the Tent-X Ultimate Grow Challenge sponsored by Trolmaster, who has also sponsored a Tent X Controller for this tent. This addition will greatly enhance our control and monitoring capabilities in this tent. This grow season is extra thrilling as I’m collaborating with Anesia Seeds and Ganja Farmer Seeds. The Gorilla Cookies is turning into an impressive young lady. Even though she has an 11L pot, the growth rate is amazing. The bloom is setting in slowly, there are some white pistils visible but no buds just yet. At the second half of week 5 I'm seeing the first few buds appearing. The plant is really impressive to watch. I'm easing up on the bloom nutrients as the top leafs have yellow tips which could be nutrient burn. Just water and Bio Tabs for the next couple of days and I hope she'll be fine 😇

02.11.'24 After 5 days of drying, this little girl who was a little bigger than a meter gave 950 grams and a little bit of popcorn...this picking was 870 and a little bit of popcorn, and 4-5 weeks ago during a storm, one branch broke, which yielded about 100, but let's say 80 for sure, a total of 950 grams of beautiful, huge, potent buds

Day 57 the plant has been growing healthy and fine but she is a slow grower . I know that most of the growers in this platform and elsewhere do defoliate and trim down all the lower branches of the plant so that the plant can concentrate all its energy into the higher bigger and better buds .and I do not do this because I drive the plants very hard with nutrients and those lower branches with small buds always give me the first sign of anything going wrong with her and that's why I leave them as a buffer zone to protect the bigger buds and that way I can push her as hard as I want. not much to mention about her thank you for reading I will continue to update have a happy grow

I got me a new 2025 ELUFAH UAP-1500 for my 2x2 tent. This light has all kinds of cools features for a small 150watt light. It has a switch to change the spectrum and when you flip the switch the color of the light changes so much you can easily tell with your eyes that it changed alot

So think by far the best of the bunch is one pheno of b-45. Insane structure, just the right amount of internodal spacing, huge nugs definitely bigger than golf balls. Tons of frost and very nice kush/citrus terps. Not to mention deep purple colours on the buds and the leaves despite not lowering the temps. Very curious to see what she will bring to the scales but I’m pretty sure she’s above 120g. True winner. Got her clones going and hope the clones will maintain the quality despite stress. Had some quality deterioration happen for some clones, but did my share of mistakes and learned some lessons. I am disappointed sa far in blue Zushi form Dutch passion, very different plants. One pheno is completely like purple lemonade form fastbuds. Terps are 1:1. I like the green leaves, purple buds combo. But it’s definitely not a skittles smell. Have a great Easter everyone. Cheers

I also gave her pot a 1/4 turn. 9/29- Yesterday I didn't water her, only turned her pot and checked her over... Wow! She's really ramping up the trichomes making her flowers look like their sugar coated! 🤩 I watered her today with 1.5g of de-chlorinated water with 1 tsp/g of unsulfured molasses added which was then ph'd to 6.4 @ 72℉. The molasses will give the microbial colony some additional food as well as supplying micro-nutrients to the plant. I finished out the daily maintenance giving her a check over and turning her pot 1/4 turn to ensure she gets light to every inch of her. 10/1- Yesterday was a 'no water' day as her pot was still fairly heavy to lift. Today she was watered with her usual of 1.5g of de-chlorinated water which was ph'd to 6.2 @ 72℉. Her flowering continues to impress me with her trichome production covering her flowers with 'frost' she's a sight for sore eye's! 😍 She's looking to be on track for a 11-12 week finish and will be an epic cultivar when she's done! 10/3- With Week Seven coming to a close we've got 4-5 weeks to go for this lady finish and she's right on track, looking like a Rock Star! 🤩 I watered heavy yesterday and added 1 tsp/g of Unsulfured Molasses to the 1.5g of de-chlorinated water which was then ph'd to 6.6 @ 72℉. Her pot had some weight to it when I checked today so I'll skip watering her until tomorrow. I finished up today by checking her over and giving her pot a turn. ~Thanks for stopping in!
