🌿🔍 Week 7: Trichome Wonderland and Final Push! 🌿🔍
Hey there! Here's your weekly update with all the exciting developments in my grow:
🌸 The Smell is Popping: Week 7 brings a delightful aroma to my grow space. The scents are becoming more pronounced and captivating. 🌬️👃
🌈 Colors Galore: The plants are showing off their vibrant colors as the flowers mature. You'll notice burpling on the leaves and the emergence of orange and red hairs on The Queen plant. LOVE IT ! 🌺🎨
💧 pH and TDS Levels: Throughout the entire flower stage, my pH has remained steady at 6.33. That's great! As for the TDS levels, they currently stand at 750ppm and 1150ppm, providing the necessary nutrients for your plants. ⚖️🌱
⏳ Flowering Progress: The Queen is proving to be a quick finisher, with only 46 days of flowering under her belt. She's looking almost ready, and it's time to grab my handy DIY microscope to examine the trichomes closely. Keep an eye for the desired level of ripeness! 🔍🌿⌛
🍪 Oreo Big Stuff: Although not as far along as The Queen, the Oreo Big Stuff will need an additional week of flowering before she reaches her peak. 🍪⚡
🌿 Zweet Og: The Zweet Og requires a bit more patience. It looks like it will need at least two more weeks before it's ready for harvest. Keep monitoring her progress and let her mature fully. 🕒👀🌿
🧐 Drying Dilemma: Unfortunately, I currently am facing a problem with drying The Queen. She's positioned on the back left side of the grow tent with a scrog, making it challenging to remove her without disturbing the others. It's a tricky situation indeed! 😬🌿🏋️♂️
🌱 Future Plans: Despite this dilemma, overall, I'm extremely happy with how things are going. No herms or other issues have arisen, which is fantastic news. I'm even planning to do another run with The Queen, as I already have six clones ready to be transitioned into flowering immediately after this run. Exciting times ahead, especially since it'll be my first time flowering clones! 🌼🌿🌿

the one in the middle has some issues because of pH & EC fluctuations (my mistake) but otherwise buds are forming nicely 👌🏻and that node spacing on the right plant is looking super promising 😈 and then we have the one on the left that's kinda recovering so fingers crossed 🤞🏻
end of week update:
speed of those buds fattening is incredible, every day they're becoming bigger and bigger 😮

3/28/25 chopped and humidity was a little high starting off
3/30/25 have them drying at 60% and 70°
4/3/25 Still needing a day or so of drying to be at a stable humidity
Beautiful plant. Fan leaves with Triched out patterns visibly everywhere.
Even though i chopped quite a bit off of the plant, i still got quite a bit bigger yield than i expected. All sizable nugs.
Pulled 65 grams.

I'm gonna jump right in..👨🌾
The high stress technique I have used a couple days ago called super cropping, I (tried more or less) to keep the canopy under control and more even. This also allow lower bud sites to rise to the top and slow down the 'stretching'.

The trade in doing it at this stage, is that the plant is also focusing more on healing the stems instead of total focus on the buds. But I'm probably early enough in the flower stage they will make it up by having more strong stems in the end. That's because the points they are broken now are gonna heal back more strong.💪💪💪
I've added some nutrients to help them heal.
Aptus is working great with my organic soil👍😎💚 🌊💦

As you maybe have seen I've added some extra lights. This are Mars Hydro's new Adlite's.
Here is some info about them in my own words.👨🌾
-IR 15,
is a infrared light that is promoting extra photosynthesis.
Basically long wave length of lights that will penetrate leaves and hit the stems, so the idea is stems will be more strong and be able to carry bigger buds.
-UV 30,
is a ultraviolet light that will try to mimic the radiation that comes of the sun.
A little explanation about what this does to the plant in nature is that the plant will make it's own sunblock oil in the form of trichomes. So by adding this light the idea is that the plant is gonna work more to block this 'radiation'.
-Deep Red 30,
is like the title maybe already explained a red light booster.
In nature the spectrum of the sun changes with the season, so it's easy to explain the sun will get more intense and contains more red in the summer. The wavelength of red is also pretty long like the 'infrared' these will sometimes penetrate leaves and hit stems and lower buds.
The idea is more photosynthesis.

Once again a nice week has passed in which the lady has developed super :-).
The buds start to grow and are now getting more pk.
This week it was poured 3 times with 1.2 l each (nutrients see table above).
Fresh osmosis water was filled in canisters for the next 2 weeks.
Everything was cleaned and the plant was checked for health :-).

trimmed and netted the plants last night, 12/30, and the energy pushed the plants to stretch another 1/2 inch+
this will be the last week of vegetation as I prep this light leaking tent for flower, not a fan of mars hydro at all right now. their poles are the weakest I've encountered yet, too many light leaks and this is the first grow with it. My high cfm fan , which is only a 4", is pulling the fabric too much and causing the leaks to grow a bit. This is not new, its been happening with indoor tents for a while now but I thought a grow company such as MH would have a decent, respectable tent. My solution is Blackout Curtains draped over the sides. However, I am hesitant to do this with the MH tent as the poles for the tent are too weak as it is, tsk tsk tsk mars hydro.
will continue to increase the watts the next 6 days

a combination of light and fresh soil has made the plants stretch so I will finish tightening up the MH tent today and ill start flower tomorrow, day 62.
while adjusting the height I must have nudged the dial for the dimmer and sent it to 184w. this would have been a big jump but manageable but I lowered the light 7" and the plants took a bit of a hit. I adjusted the light back down to 160w and I'll let the plants recover before anymore adjustments.

Sorry, was doing some more expansion and re-arranging day 12 and 13 so no pics.
We got some rain so all plants have been given a treat.
I believe of the 5, I already see (2) I do not like the traits of and will go with the 3 that are most obviously bushier and stronger looking.
Mom shot up fast and you can see the length and weaker, smaller looking leaf structure on the day 8 profile picture.
Dad was stocky and bushy... so we are on our way.
I have included a glimpse of the Aquaponic garden that the Indo plants get periodic feedings from. Once they are being fed... But for now just Neutral or rain water.
Now these should be Photo plants as the dad was Photo and therefore the Auto gene from mom is Recessive and the Dominant Photo gene should kick out the Auto correct?
If I understand that correctly I have to say I am amazed how these plants are coming up.
They are acting more like an Auto (as far as speed of development) in my very Limited Opinion.
It's very exciting.
The pots they will be going into have BuildASoil cover crop that is coming along amazing and it should be an easy transition once they are ready.

Found litteral balls on the plant, no bananas but full on pollen sacks right at the topping spot, did remove them since I did not see balls anywhere else, hope this is just a one time thing due to topping.

Hello. This is the end of week 9 and the beginning of week 10 of flowering.
It's sunflower season... ain't they pretty.
I see plant #1 is looking ripe and could probably be harvested. But I'll grow it another week, because that was the plan to start with.
Got 2 good flushes in so far and I want to get 2 more before harvest.
Have seen dead aphid shells on some of plant #1 interiour leaves. Something must have eaten or sucked the insides out of them. Wow...
Will post some pics/video next week just before harvest.

Soooo I chopped the cripple a week before and got 40G dry out of it. Im excited how much the bigger one will yield cause shes looking better and better with every day passing.

Well I made the decision to remove the plastic cover of the greenhouse because these babies are HUGE. Never had a plant this tall, ever, especially an auto. I removed all the lighting and left them and the other hydro girls exposed to the natural elements. Most were barely showing any signs of flowering so I figured the natural lighting would be sufficient and promote flowering. All my lighting is IP65 rated waterproof so I'm still looking for another way to mount them to run during the day when light is scarce or on cloudy days etc. But not for any extra time compared to sunrise and sunset. Have been removing large fans from the bottom up, exposing lower nodes. Also have been adding support their extremely long branches or tieing them back to the main stalk loosely at a node with hemp rope. At this point I'm not at all dissapointed that these Devils haven't flowered sooner, I expected delayed flowering because of the high doses of Superthrive throughout most of vegetative life. I just hope theres enough time left in the season for them to finish! Had to add an extension on our fencing lol, but the neigbors seem cool 😎, its legal anyways. Will add official height and current pictures in a few hours.

Update week 15: I have been flushing them for a week now. I will let them go an additional week and then I will probably harvest depending on the trichomes. They smell lovely, the DGx3BOG smells like gummy bears and the Tangie smells indeed very citrusy.

Vamos familia, actualizamos la quinta semana de vida de estas Terp & Tonic de Seedstockers.
La temperatura que estuvo entre los 24-26 grados y humedad dentro de los rangos correctos.
Todavía estamos en el ciclo 16 horas luz, 8 oscuridad, estiraron bien y ensancharon bastante también, el color es verde sano.
Se nota que los nutrientes de la marca Agrobeta hacen sus funciones.
También realicé una poda de bajos que yo si las veo necesarias para explotar después la flor.

Great Week! Girls are getting bigger and loving there new light. LST is going well. They are showing there sex and will be going into there stretching phase
