Day 47

Such Bittersweet Joy Added this week as ‘Flowering’ although technically should be harvested as I but I haven’t had a chance to weigh or anything. I will do that next week once trimmed etc. So finally cut them down on D89, it was a beautiful day outside and it just felt right. Although when it came to the deed itself I felt sadder than I thought I would for my girls and the time we had together. All 6 (I’m growing another 3 different strains but not included on this diary) are now hanging to dry in the tent. Temp -18 C; Humidity-60% seems to be holding steady with no tinkering thankfully. After the 3 days they have all dried noticeably, perhaps 4/5 more before trimming / curing. I’ve had quite a close look at most of the harvest and as far as this noob can tell, there doesn’t seem to be any issues with mould / bud rot. Fingers remain crossed. I did have one very profound moment this week... It happened as I was surveying the harvest hanging up for the first time. I could feel my mindset change suddenly from the constant paranoia over their health and overcoming my impatience to “I actually have a crap load of weed”. It was beautiful beautiful moment... End of week 1 of flower Started LST today She is doing very well The other Bruce Banner in shared pot is in full flower by 1 week and measures 41 cm

This week I just flushed the plant. I think I could have feed nutes the first day of this week, but I decided to flush from the first day, something to improve next time. I think I should have given the last flush one day before harvest instead of 2 days after, I felt that the coco was a bit too dry and the steam was not as moist as the previous harvest, this would have been great if I was doing 14 days dry, but I'm doing a 30 day dry, so this extra moisture would be great. The last 4 days the lights were turned off, as a consequence, the humidity went up the last 4 days, around 56-58%, I don't think I will do this next time. The total flower period was 72 days, according to Barney's farm it would take 60-65 days, I feel that those values are very accurate, my personal circumstances made me take a bit longer, but I barely saw any amber trichomes at harvest day. This week I transplanted all of them and started lst training. Of all 3 strains I’ve got going, gummy buns defo has the best vigour and structure on nearly all of them.

***Note that I started to count the days when I placed the seeds between paper towels. The seeds were planted 3 days later and sprouted from the ground 2 days after being planted. D80 (13/05/2021): I'm looking at the trichomes every other days. Glue Gelato is starting to show amber on top buds. No amber for Banana Kush and Gelato. This time I will chop them all at the same time so the one I will rely on is the Glue Gelato. As soon as she is ready, I will harvest them all. Banana Kush and Gelato would probably need more, but in term of logistic, I need to harvest all my plants at the same time. D83 (16/05/2021): Not ready yet. I'm checking trichomes closely! 😬 - Light: the lights are at 100% and at 12 inch form the plants. - Temperature: during the day: 24-25C ; during the night: 20C. - Humidity: the humidity is maintain around 46-48% all the time. - Air circulation: There is an oscillating fan on the ground, one fixed fan pointing on top of the canopy and one fixed fan to help cool the lights. - Water: I gave water every other day or when the ground feel dry or the pots feels light. - ***IPM: I never mention it but I'm using nematodes pouch as an integrated pest management. I had trouble with pest in my first grow and I learned from it. That's the only thing I do for pest and of course watching closely and regularly at my plants 😊

Lemon Orange already there with some amber trichomes. She is the First to harvest in the next days. The Rest still needs a week or two. Lowering the nutrients a Bit now. The ICC is the prettiest plant i have got so far. BBM insane on the terp side. Hella Jelly quite mid. Not my terpene Profile so far. Lemon Orange harvested at day 52 Flower Blueberry Muffin harvested at day 56 Flower

This week was really great except for some weather problem, cold is came a little bit earlier and i m still fixing something in the grow box. Roots are really large and strenght. Flowering started exactly in the 28 day. Let's go!

Bruce Banner #3 Fast is doing okay I guess. She is not preforming like a fast flowering plant should. She got a solution change today. She us under the Hortibloom Solux 350. This plant plus one more started to wilt earlier on in the week, I figured it was probably time to transplant seeing as they had been in the solo cups for 2 weeks. After transplant plants seemed to be happy again. I introduced amino acids this week as well. They are getting the grease spray and drench program

Nothing but colas on all 3 this is going to be a big harvest. Another 2 or 3 weeks max.

What to say about this week? For starters LST was started this week. Initially I used garden ties but soon after replaced them with 6” garden staples . 2 of the 6 girls began throwing pistals resulting from the LST starting around day 15 YIKES 😬. The Zkittlez & the Runtz both from (Expert Seeds ) began giving the 5x5 its first smells . The LST so far has been a pleasure no ooosy daisies so far & the girls are showing what they are made of . The secondary shoots have great potential to form a nice round bush that I can train out into an even-as-possible canopy . Today is day 21 & day 20 for this bunch . They are only using Gaia Green dry amendments for feedings but I decided to take some advice given to another grower & supplement my girls with some compost tea . NO I DONT THINK THEY NEED ANYTHING ADDITIONALLY IM REALLY HAPPY SO FAR WITH MY NUTES bbbbuuuuuttttttt in the short chance that my ladies may take a liking to an occasional tea & reward my pampering with large , long , frosty, stacked cola’s . . Thennnn I’m supplementing , I consider this all “4-play” for my ladies Ik a giver 🤷‍♀️😭 My only concerns are racing against this clock to get as much size & solid structure before flowering sets in I’ve really got my heart set on a certain outcome & I’m one for a good challenge. Finally , atleast as much as I can remember, I increased the dimmer knob on the light from 65% to about 78%. I won’t increase the watts any higher until bloom sets in fully & at that point I’ll be turning it to 100% raising it a maybe 6 inches & watching patiently for my girls to start praying 🙏 to it . Week 3 in the books !

Water change day 51. Too close to lights day 52. Used dimmer, prolly gunna buy a taller tent or modify this one. Day 54. Dimming helped, glad i caught it early.

Howdy growfessors! Another week has come and gone with the outdoors grow. The ladies took a bit of a beating from the tail end of tropical storm Ida. Going to build a partial greenhouse roof to help keep the rain off them, which will hopefully lower the chances for mould.
