Well there is a reason why there was a lack of updates... Unfortunately it seems like I didn't clean my tent well enough and I also didn't change the carbon filter. I changed both of that (hopefully)... at least the carbon filter is brand new. #2 had to leave and #1 is also gone. After a few days of being down and not caring so much about the plants, I placed the King's Juice Auto #3 outdoors and hope that because of the topping, she is still so early into flower, that she might've not been pollinated from the last run. She will be placed back into the tent tomorrow and let's pray she wasn't pollinated already and let's pray I cleaned the tent carefully enough.

🔄 Looking back: Mimosa Evo #3 (Day 0 of flower) is still doing well overall, but continues to show signs of overfeeding 🚫 She doesn't seem very hungry, so I’ll lower the EC further – aiming for around 0.8 or maybe even 0.7. 🕒 Flowering begins: This week I flipped Mimosa Evo #3 to 12/12! Stretch is just around the corner 🌿📏 Really curious to see how much she'll take off in the next days – it’s getting exciting now!

Pretty neat, in the afternoon when the tent hovers around 84F the plants are 🙏, can visually see in time around 10 minutes after I opened the tent the temp had dropped to 76 pressure was lost, she is still chilling but she doesn't quite have that perk anymore. *Salinity3.5% - 100ml H2O=100g The concentration of salt in a solution 3.5%= 3.5g in 100ml. The word "lysis" means to separate or break, so in terms, electrolysis would mean "breakdown via electricity. Green hydrogen is hydrogen produced by the electrolysis of water, using renewable electricity. The production of green hydrogen causes significantly lower greenhouse gas emissions than the production of grey hydrogen, which is derived from fossil fuels without carbon capture. The PEC cell primarily consists of three components: the photoelectrode the electrolyte and a counter electrode. The semiconductor crucial to this process, absorbs sunlight, initiating electron excitation and subsequent water molecule splitting into hydrogen and oxygen. Water electrolysis requires a minimum potential difference of 1.23 volts, although at that voltage external heat is also required. Typically 1.5 volts is required. Biochar, a by-product of biomass pyrolysis, is typically characterized by high carbon content, aromaticity, porosity, cation exchange capacity, stability, and reactivity. The coupling of biochar oxidation reaction (BOR) with water electrolysis constitutes biochar-assisted water electrolysis (BAWE) for hydrogen production, which has been demonstrated to reduce the electricity consumption of conventional water electrolysis from 1.23v to 0.21v. Biochar particles added to the electrolyte form a two-phase solution, in which the biochar oxidation reaction (BOR) has a lower potential (0.21 V vs. RHE) than OER (1.23 V vs. RHE), reducing the energy consumption for hydrogen production via biochar-assisted water electrolysis (BAWE). BAWE produces H2 under 1 V while eliminating O2 formation: key word "eliminating". Air with a normal oxygen concentration of around 21% is not considered explosive on its own; however, if a flammable gas or vapor is present, increasing the oxygen percentage above 23.5% can significantly increase the risk of ignition and explosion due to the enriched oxygen environment. The addition of ion mediators (Fe3+/Fe2+) significantly increases BOR kinetics. Welcome ladies and gentleman to the start of week 7. Plants are officially 42 days since sowed. Plants just woke up from their 2nd night of 12 hours off. They are officially in flower. That makes a 40 day veg. They are all just exploding with growth. Luckily I found a way to raise my light even more because they are pushing over 3 feet tall. They all are hungry for nitrogen so I gave them all 2 tsp before the last watering. The plants have a heavy citrus smell with some other smells I can’t quite put my finger on. I have my hopes set high for this flower cycle.

This lady is killing it so far! Another beautiful pheno of Mimosa EVO by Barney's Farm, It's a pleasure to work with their genetic, this plant looks absolutely gorgeous, I hope that she performs well under the Spanish sun this season, we can have very high temperatures but I think this lady is gonna handle the summer without any issues, let's see how this lady keeps developing guys!!

After switching the light schedule, our supposed "autoflowers" have finaly started to show signs of actually flowering. Week 9, what a trip. This grow is full of surprises and new lessons for me: the potting mix i have used for this grow is apparently purely peat (black and white peat moss) with perlite mixed in. After digging into some more information about all kinds of soils i found out that i was apparently growing "hydroponically" because this is apparently a soilless mix. The world is full of surprises 😅 This does explain a lot of the stuff that i've been trying to deal with in the last few weeks: first and foremost my plants were looking like they were developing a range of different nutrient deficiencies. I still find it hard to tell which ones, but symptoms ranged from decoloration and deformation of the lower leafs up to small burnt tips on the developing flowers, new growth being brittle and signs that looked like underwatering. I'm convinced that this has a lot to do with the fact tht this is a soilless medium with 0 pre-supplied nutrients (the light mix does supply nutrients for a week or two, but no more). I've been going really slow on the feeding because in previous runs i tended to overfeed and had issues with that, so therefore only used about a quarter to half of the recommended dosages. So, at this point i've completely switched up my feeding: i bought 2 new bottles of hydroponic fertilizers (GHE Bloom and GHE Micro) and i'm using those in addition to a little bit of plagron terra grow - to make sure the plant also gets its fair share of nitrogen. After 3 days of watering with this stuff (both at 2ml/L) the plants are almost literally screaming "THANK YOU!" and seem to be really benefitting from this new insight and change of strategies.

Starting week 3 with good growth on all three plants but plant 3 is doing the best, she has the longest branches and I've tried them downwards. I also trimmed-off the lowest leaves and branch/future bud sights. The girls look good and I look forward to another week of progress.

This week unfortunately I am taking the not so good frosty gelato out of environment... Been 0% progress and not enough bud sites to keep her. One of each left - Vanilla Frosting & frosty gelato Both still looking fabulous the flower nutrients have now been removed leaving the ripen at full strength but cal mag is now half the amount Next week is start of flush week.
