Flower Day 55

and on it goes. i don't have much to report. due to some very hot days she got alg-a-mic and acti-vera from BIOBIZZ for a better nutrient uptake. she has grown another few centimetres, looks healthy and strong. i had applied LST to her again to get the side shoots more into the sun.

The biosys is once a week when I cut off the res and can see the tray starting to empty out at the bottom. I then hand water some Ecothrive Biosys to aid the Ecothrive life-cycle in that second to top layer as well as the grow dots in general (it’s just basically a cheaper UK version of recharge, in that it has a lot of the same ingredients) only I figure they are more likely to be suited to my weather conditions if they are grown here. It’s also all REALLY GREAT stuff to add onto my cactus collection - works great! I just going to carry on - this has been the easiest grow iv ever done so far. All you need to do is PH the water and fill the res - all the microbe shit is optional - although IME boosts plant health and therefore yields. My last grow I got 1.8g/w and half of my grow space was taken up with the actual res! I didn’t think to put it outside my 3x3 (ish) tent! Still tho, that’s respectable numbers. Think it worked out to about 3z in total

The ladies have finally made their journey into the final stages of flower and now it's flush time for her. She is covered in blanket of trichromes and smells wonderful like a kid in a candy store. The aurora is very strong and sweet with a hint of skunk. Color is vibrant purple, red, green with nice orange hairs. Can't wait to see how she tastes. Thanks @sweetseeds for the great beans.

•Morning of day 19, ¾ through week 3. Did a light defol on both ladies. I gotta say I'm a big fan of Big Bud by Seedstockers! This girl is going to be exactly what her name is. I know its early with roughly 40 days to go, but I will for sure be growing this girl again. Any suggestions drop me a line. Less stretching and more compacting of nodes. Very pleased! She's feeding at full strength and looking like she might want more. Very vigorous growth. °Agent Orange. 30" in diameter after LST. plant did NOT respond well to LST. AND IS 36½" tall (soil to top). Also showed signs of nutrient burn. I had a good harvest set up, in order to keep everything sterile. The drying went good and steady with converting my grow tent to dry tent. -Humidity through drying 53-58% RH -Temp a bit high 18-23 10 days of drying Very satisfied with this grow as my first grow. I said i would be more than happy with 100g (dry and trimmed) and i weighted in 95.9g PLUS about 5grams i plan to smoke now 😇 So very happy. Currently in curing jars Not harsh taste, even with no curing. Nice and fruity and a deep high. I will test the THC levels after curing and update my blog. This will def not be my last grow. Day 77-84 (April 17th-24th) (Day 78) I honestly cant believe I’ve been vegging this long. The growth for almost 80 days of veg is laughable. I’ve compiled a little list of what has gone wrong so far. - I added too much glacial moraine which made the soil too water retentive - I’ve been foliar feeding too much kelp - I gave too many bloom nutrients for a plant in veg - EDIT: DID NOT WATER ENOUGH AT ONCE The plants have been drooping like crazy this past week and I’m going to try watering in a full gallon per plant. I first thought it was from the medium not drying out enough, soil compaction ect. and I’m sure those are definitely areas where my soil mix could improve but the bottom of the container is pretty damn dry. I could actually be under watering despite soaking the top with 500ml a day. I’m going to sit the pots on some plastic sheeting so they don’t evaporate as much from the bottom and water in a full gallon each making sure I get some runoff. I was going to wait until I get my air pump but fuck it, it’s coming tomorrow afternoon. The pots are so big that they’re not fully wetting to the bottom even with a gallon. I’m going to try to water in a gallon every 4 days while keeping the top soil moist with the sprayer. In hindsight 6 plants in 5-7 gallon pots would be the most ideal. (Day 79) Holy fuck did a full gallon watering make a difference. I should have been doing this the whole time. All 4 plants are praying and stretching upward like crazy. They just look more vigorous and happy within a day. I bet they will be even happier with that supplemental air. If things stay this smooth I should be able to flip around day 84, possibly earlier. Got my air pump in the mail today. This is kind of a shot in the dark so hopefully it works. It’s super loud and vibrates like crazy. First I’m going to try running it 24/7 and see if there is any improvement over the next few days. If it does work, I’ll try running it on my humidity controller so it’s not constantly humming and will only turn on when the humidity is high. I’m going to turn the night time temps down to 70f to prevent root problems now that I’m watering much bigger amounts less frequently and it’s getting warmer during the day. (Day 81/Day 1F) Ever since I’ve been watering in the proper amounts I have seen an absolute explosion in growth. I’ve decided to flip today, now that I’m confident my soil mix isn’t completely fucked. I might run into some N/mg problems during the stretch so I will make sure to give a final foliar feeding around the end of week 1. (Day 3F) So I’m literally seeing dwc growth rates now. Plants have grown more in the last 5 days than the last 3 weeks. If I had stayed at this pace of growth since day 1, I would have an 8 foot tall plant or I would be halfway through flower already. Oh well. Good learning experience. *grits teeth* I’m going to put up the second layer of trellis before these girls stretch out of control. Bbb#3 is seriously stretchy and will likely more than double in size in the next 2 weeks. The other 4 are all quite stout and bushy. I’m giving a light, preemptive defoliation each day and picking off some of the lower sucker branches. I will do a full strip around day 21F.

Hello Growers and Tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 Things are going okay, the weather seems to be stable now. They're only receiving about 4 hours of direct sunlight. Two of them are starting to flower while the youngest one that's a week behind is still growing. Found some surprises today on the mutated plant. Which is also the tallest one. Three pollen sacs... Out of fury I pulled them right off 😂😂 So there aren't any pictures but there's in the video you can see them. These autflowers and they went through a good amount of stress in the veg weeks. So it's normal for those pollen sacs to have come out on the one that went through the most stress and is also mutated. I'll leave her be for the moment and see how she advances during flower while I keep a close eye on her. I'm not worried about the pollen sacs because first there were only three and they haven't opened yet. Second, is more grow out and open up there's no way that pollen can reach my indoor grow, so no worries there. Third, The GSC I've got in the balcony is getting chopped in a few days. So yeah, no worries. Worst case scenario pollen sacs come back out and pollinate the other two little GGs. Or I chop her if There's too many sacs or nanners.. I don't know yet.. I'll definetly be growing this strain again with good conditions. That's it for now. Take care out there! One Love!

With the last heat wave, I had an answer to one of my questions, clearly my chiller is not doing the trick. I have water temperatures that went up to 27°, which is way too much, the plants deprived of oxygen, started to declare several deficiencies due to an assimilation slowed by the lack of oxygen. It is then that a nasty fungus came to say bijour, it is me MR pythium! It was necessary to act, at the risk of having to restart the culture. So I applied hydrogen peroxide and ROOT ROT X, and both products are doing harm to this nasty pythium, things are now back to normal. On the other hand, the plants had a decreased growth for 10 to 15 days, so I'm going to extend my growth for 10 to 20 days, that is to say 1 or 2 soups, I'll choose according to the root development of the plants. Before going to flowering, I have to catch up this delay in order to make a nice crop.
