Grow report week 6: The recovery and the training Hello dear growers and growerettes, it’s time for an update on my grow. My plants have completed the sixth week and have grown further. But they also mastered some challenges that I will tell you about. The recovery This week I had to save my plants that suffered from a nutrient deficiency. The reason for this was the combination of osmosis water and BioBizz fertilizer, which the plants did not like. I came across reports on the internet that reported the same problems and switched back to normal tap water. The plants already started to turn yellow and showed signs of a calcium/magnesium deficiency. On the day of realization, I fertilized the ladies with normal tap water, as well as twice a week a mix of water, Acti-Vera and Fish-Mix from BioBizz as a foliar fertilizer. To be on the safe side, I watered two liters per plant today after almost complete drying out of the pots, which is a lot, but I wanted to make sure that the soil is equally well supplied. Since I have fabric pots, I worry less. I believe to recognize that the plants will make it, as their development has improved greatly. The next two weeks will show it. The training This week I continued the low-stress training and bent and tied the plants further. The low-stress training is a method to gently bend and tie the plants to improve the light distribution and air circulation. The goal is to keep the plants low and wide and promote more side branches and flower clusters. The training works very well with the gained experience now. The plants are bent in one week and will then be allowed to come up again. I hope all the work will pay off despite the short weakening of the plants. The outlook I am very satisfied with the result of the sixth week. My plants have recovered well and trained and have shown great growth. I look forward to the next two hopefully healthier weeks. She is growing so vigoursly. I have to start to flower her and maybe even completely stop the whole grow because of personal stuff in life. I really hope I don't have to get rid of her. This is my first time with an earth box and I'm in love with it

Our beauty is looking good, isn't she? Her buds are thickening and the trichomes getting more of that gorgeous purple color. Some are already cloudy, few (most of them are damaged, probably due to looking at them under our mikroskopic lense too closely) turned amber. Harvest is set to be at week 8 in flower, so it's 2 weeks from now on, but we'll see how she develops by then. Smell-wise it's pretty bareable right now; we feared that our whole apartment would smell like a huge coffeeshop in amsterdam, but by keeping the door to our "growroom" closed you can hardly smell anything. It's only when touching some frosty leaves while defoliating that you get some of the strain-specific scents, mostly consisting of citrusy aroma with earthy undertones. Temperature is stable right now; the severe heat wave should be gone for the next weeks and by meagerly opening the door we can adjust the temperatures quite good. Humidity is also pretty solid thanks to our dehumidifier.

Hey Growers, End of week 10 from seed Earlier in the week I began noticing an orange color on some leaf tips, I probably overfed them nutrients so I fed them just water with a ph of 6.0 on the following feeding schedule and the leaves are looking better now. Last week a weird smell was coming out from the colas, its slowly changing. Its now starting to smell like 🍃 🍋 ⛽️ Noticed a small Increase in orange pistils I want to increase light intensity but I am worried the red stems on the top of the plant will get worst and then affect the whole plant. Only the top part of the plant has some red stems, the rest are all green. QUESTIONS How close am I from Harvesting? When should I begin flushing?

F8 : I think I over vegged. It’s getting a bit out of control. I’m still debating whether to defoliate or not. Otherwise plants are right on schedule. F10: Afgoo is taking the longest to start flowering. They do have the shortest flowering time of 50-60 days. Lots of stretching on the animal crackers. I don’t expect much of a yield from them. Defoliated animal crackers #1. Gave her a low lollipop cut. They grew very bushy underneath. Did get some nice cuttings. F11: Watered with Foxfarm 10ml/gal

Plants are going great, top dressed and been watering with 1 gallon for all plants. No problems flowering great, couldn’t be easier.

SD2# harvested,trimmed,dried and almost smoked lol The caterpillar destroyed it and I had to take it off so that everything wouldn't go to waste. 10.08. 5 more plants were harvested,trimmed and left to dry, all mature, some more, some less, but I didn't want to risk any more so that the caterpillars wouldn't destroy them, one of these 5 had already started. 2 plants left on site, need 7+ more days.
