Hello Diary, I am truly privileged to be one of the first to try growing this revolutionary new strain. My dear friends at RQS sent me this new hybrid seed at the beginning of the year and I'm really looking forward to seeing the result. Let's see what they say about this new strain. Medusa is a true F1 hybrid created from pure, inbred cannabis lines. She boasts uniform growth traits, mouthwatering aromas and flavors, and plenty of potency. Combining genetics from inbred lines deriving from Sugar Magnolia, a thick and sweet indica, and American Beauty, a fast, fruity hybrid loved for its well-balanced, positive high, the result is an autoflowering F1 variety that produces fresh flavors, a unique cannabinoid profile, and large yields. Medusa F1 seeds produce elongated autoflowering plants with long, strong branches and well-spaced internodes. Plants regularly grow up to 80–85 cm tall and boast a fast flowering time of just 42–45 days (72 days from germination to harvest). Thanks to her genetics, Medusa F1 produces plenty of thick flowers with big, swollen calyxes that make for very easy trimming. Medusa F1 is very stable, handling stress and unfavorable growing conditions with ease, although she is somewhat susceptible to Botrytis, so make sure to keep tabs on the humidity in your grow room/garden. I prepare everything I need for planting in advance. I fill the AirPot to a little more than half and add 50g of Easy Boost Organic nutrition in pellets and mix with the soil, then add more Easy Roots Rhizobacter and Easy Roots - Mycorrhiza mix and fill the pot to the top with soil. After that, I soak the soil well with water, make a hole in the middle and carefully insert the seed into the hole with gloves and cover it. After doing this with all three pots, I placed them in the grow box and waited for them to sprout. The lights are 35 cm away from the pots. The humidity is not high, but as soon as the plants sprout, I will put in a humidifier. 14/01/2023 I moistened the soil a little with water. I need to keep the soil moist. 16/01/2023 The first plant has sprouted. We are still waiting for the other two. 17/01/2023 The second plant has sprouted, but I'm still waiting for the third. 18/01/2023 Unfortunately, the third plant did not sprout, so this time there will be only two plants on the "Farm". 21/01/2023 First joint watering. The girls are doing great. Pineapple and Cheese are huge for autos, Bubblegum is a little slower than the others, and Skunk had some trouble building flowers, probably because of the heat, but there's a solution to everything, I just have to find it.

Ok start of week 5, as stated in the video I finally got on top of the ph drop. After some research I found that dwc systems can have 2 problems that can create this problem. One is the air it pulls in is to rich in co2 and basically creates acidic resovour but since I have been changing the system weekly I didn’t feel this was my problem. The other reason could be too low ec for the plants. Basically every plant has a natural ec lvl and if the nutrients are below that of the plant it can create an inbalance that leads to ph drop. I upped my nutrients from 1200 to 1400 and since I done that my ph has stayed stable at 5.8. Also had signs of slight light burn so lifted the light. So on we go learning this system day by day. Will say I have seen some great explosive growth since it’s all been stabilised.

Had a massive rainstorm, hadn’t supported the plants as I had planned due to spraying for moth larvae. The storm damaged several plants. I strapped most of them back together with Zip ties and stakes. They recovered nicely. Some branches were not recoverable so they were trimmed and dried. No more nutrients, just water to finish off.

Already juiced the lemon, have the spring water, and off-brand baking soda because COVID has every place sold out of Arm&Hammer 😂 Dale: 50 Grams Wet Buds/Stem 15 Grams Trim/Larf = Total 65 Grams Wet Brennan: 55 Grams Wet Buds/Stem 12 Grams Trim/Larf = 67 Grams Wet Total Wet: 132 Grams (Buds/Stems/Trim) Looks like I'm getting in and around the "1 Ounce per Auto Plant" range with my basic soil/hand feed system. The CMOG from my other diary looks like it will be my first 1OZ plant when it dries. With my past experience of wet buds drying out to about half of bud weight, I'm hoping that they both come in JUST under an Oz a piece. Going to update with more pictures, going to take a couple days to dry and get a good weight and hopefully get somewhere close to the 64 grams of the ONLY sized Boveda packs I have right now 😇 -- UPDATE - Dec 20 2020 - Cure Day 😵😭 i once again got my hopes up by pulling the classic male "over-exaggerating" and all the wet weight came from the main stems. After 3 days or so of drying both plants together came in just under an ounce. The smell is great and I have no doubt it's quality bud but I need to up my density game somehow for sure. New nutrients or better set up, still very low-end with all my equipment as I've just slowly been finding affordable pieces to add as I go. Maybe more light? Feel free to hit me up below with ideas short of switching to a Hydro set up 😹 I can hardly afford my bags of soil so I definitely couldnt keep up with the financial costs of a Hydro set up yet 😓 Have had a few bowls of the dried/uncured bud and it's very nice, clean, and crazy good for being uncured at this point. We have made it to day 42! 31/12/20 All the girls have started flowering now! I'm super keen to see them start to thicken up. Feeding as usual, nothings changed. Update - day 46 04/01/21 I'm a little concerned about the 2 runts that were laggin behind the rest, all of a sudden theyve decided they want to take up most of the room in the tent. I've never grown autos so big.. I was contemplating putting the runts outside but it's just going to make more problems as my outdoors are under attack from some kind of bug. I will keep the diary updated on the runts, other than that the other girls are doing just great, flowering is really coming along. Thanks for stopping by!

She continues to show good growth. I had to do some more defoliation this week to remove the bigger fan leaves...again. She's showing good bud formation and I am enjoying watching her grow. She is nice therapy after my heart attack. Growing relaxes me and gives me almost as much relief as the medicine I am growing.

GSC (& Sour Diesel - tentmate) seem to be growing with very healthy green growth. Responding well to light 1/3 to 1/4 recommended dose of Fox Farm nutes. Sour Diesel, which was much smaller and had weak trunk stem as seedling is slowly catching up to GSC.

Amazing smell sticky crystal I started giving Big Buds and hopefully in a few days they will be greasy and big 🔥🔥🔥

defoliated some more and it grew ALOT. Buds getting fat!! cant wait to harvest.

CBD Caramel is still doing stellar and is at the top of the class as far as height. Still getting a little bug damage tho, so I sprayed with neem oil, again. Going to water in some Big Bloom and Molasses later. Really good week.
