Week 4, May 2 to 8/20**********Days 22 to 28 from germination********* Fighting pH with numbers of 7.1 still coming out after putting in 4.5 for days and never given over 6.1 from the start?? Its time to rule out the damn pots as the issue because there is simply nothing else left......coco with perlite flushed from the start.....feed never over 6.1?????? How is run off staying so high even after several waterings of 4.5pH. They are only three weeks when this issue became apparent. I had cut slits in the bottom of the pots to aid in further drainage???? I transplanted the Fast Buds girls into 3 gal plastic pots. They are fighting the pH issues more than the other girls and will I pick on the weaker ones.......unfortunately its these ones. Plus since GSC is a longer running strain In this grow I figured these girls may have the most time to make up from any shock. GSC went well and she came out of the fabric pot well and into the new one. They were both exactly 10” across so I cut the whole fabric pot in half with razor knife while holding together. First girl fell right down in and went okay!!!! Cool👍👍👍 GSC2 on the other hand had more of an F U attitude about it all😡 Followed the same process but she didn’t’ come right apart nicely like the first one. She fought one side of the pot and in hind sight I should have cut a plus symbol or star pattern in the bottom of the pot rather than just the one slice.......It wouldn’t give right on the bottom of the pot on one side. When it finally did the roots came up from the bottom and she was flipped inside the medium..........basically worst case scenario 🤬🤬🤬 So what can you do.......you show her some extra love❤️ and talk softly to her😚 and promise to make her healthy👊 and strong💪 and never to hurt her agian😍😍🤞 Little more detail......... May 2/20 - Day 22 - 2L feed for each girl with CalMag @ 0.5ml, Vitathrive, Sensyzime, Piranha, Voodoo, Dual Fuel @ 1ml = 625ppm and 5.0pH - runoff numbers: - GSC 590ppm with 7.3pH - GSC2 580ppm with 7.2pH - why so high damn it?? May 3/20 - Day 23 - 6L mixed with Vitathrive, VeloKelp, Sensyzime @ 2ml, Piranha, Voodoo @ 1ml = 165ppm and 5.0pH - 3L given to each girl. - GSC girls have perked up the last three days. - GSC2 is getting wider but not taller. - Runoff numbers: - GSC - 725ppm and 6.9pH - GSC2 - 650ppm and 6.8pH - thinking that cheap fabric pots are the issue with high pH I am going to transplant two of the four girls into plastic pots and see how that goes. - GSC transplant went well. - GSC2 transplant not so well.......she caught the edge coming out of the old pot and her root mass became all twisted😞😞😞 May 4/20 - Day 24 - dry out day and leave them alone after being so shook up yesterday. May 5/20 - Day 25 - gave a small plain water feed of 2L each with ph to 5.0 - water and left them alone again today. May 6/20 - Day 26 - Feed day again. 1.5L each for each girl with Dual Fuel, Vitathrive @ 1ml, CalMag, VeloKelp @ 0.5ml = 675ppm and 5.1pH - the girls are working through it......just give them time. May 7/20 - Day 27 - simple feed today with VeloKelp @ 1ml and Sensyzime @ 2ml = 165ppm and 5.0pH - each girl given 1L. - GSC is looking like she is fighting back and starting to see her increase in size. - GSC2 is also coming along because her dying leaves are also starting to perk up. - Did some some stem twisting on GSC to help strengthen her stock. May 8/20 - Day 28 - Dry out day - The girls are doing well with the Kelp and while they are not much bigger they look healthier! - GSC2 low branches are not sitting in soil anymore👍 Cheers Growmies........have a great week!!!!!

Hello fellow growers, I am pleased to start this new journey with you. I am also particularly excited since I am going to grow a Mephisto Genetics strain for the very first time, the famous Double Grape. I know you shouldn't believe the hype, as Public Enemy used to say, but it's hard to ignore the dithyrambic reviews when it comes to Mephisto. I sowed the seed directly in the substrate and it was popping out 3 days later. Right now the seedling is under my Mars Hydro TS1000, brightness set at 25%, lights are 80cm away. During my last grows I set it up to the max at all stages of growth, this time I decided to proceed differently and increase gradually. Please let me know in the comments if you think I should just push it to the max right away. I would like to thank HESI nutrients team for sending me a great Starter Pack! Die Sorte riecht und schmeckt super fruchtig. Nach den ersten 4 Tagen trocknen wurde getrimmt hat etwas Zeit in Anspruch genommen aber es hat sich gelohnt. Fast 100g trocken was mich sehr gefreut hat. Sie riecht extrem und ist schön harzig. Eine echt schöne Sorte, da ich fruchtige Strains bevorzuge.

Day 43 - I have started LST as this plant i know won't grow much in height, im gonna use it to teach myself techniques/perfect a technique. I hope ive done a decent job of it. Excited to see what happens over next few days. Day 44 - im very proud of my little plant. It looks so strong after the first day of LST. Definitely surprised with the results. Day 45 - Plant seems to be adjusting just fine to LST i do keep checking it. There is a bit of leaves overcrowding to pne side. I will probably have to move if i can! Day 46 - I'm thinking if i need to do more LST or just leave it now to grow. Day 47 - the plant is really starting to woden out and stretch as well. I need to see when it will flower it looks like it might do soon. Day 48 - The plant looks well. I believe she has started to flower so i really have to get my fan and filter asap. Day 49 - She defo started flowing and i just bent ome stem to allow more space between each other ;But they looks really good. Also entering another competition can't win if you don't partake.

Finally harvest time 😘 Was a very nice to grow this seeds.Was happy with her from day 1 she keep growing every day and even done one time topping on this autoflower. Now after harvest buds are really nice so 100 % Happy from grow to bloom.Now time to dry and taste 😃

Not much to report this week. Going well, 4 more male growths. These girls are on autopilot for the next 4 or 5 weeks. Finally done the last big defoliation. I am happy with the amount of tips, I dont mind sacrificing a little size and quality for a potentially much larger yeild. No real stretch to be seen, I guess the scrog is to blame for that. A side note, I may have a little bit of a micro nutrient deficiency, iron in particular. I know this is rare but I did miss the iron last week, long story. Its presenting from the top down with choloris near the leaf base moving outwards. I also think I have a slight k abundance at this stage but the plant should take care of that as it begins to demand more.

An in to soil she and her sister testers go, i know that for know everything looks the same , apart from the photos, but this will start changing with them growing. For now all of them are growing pretty much the same and now that they move in to soil and start feedings they will start showing the phenotype and genetic differences, but for now all looking great , healthy and strong af!!! Grand Daddy Purple auto was doing great most the week. In the last day or two her ph jumped up. She is getting more hungry. I flushed her and got the ph back down. I then provided her fresh feed. She did have a few magnesium deficiency spots on her leaves. That should be resolved now. Beside that she made good progress, and is trained and ready for another week. Everything is looking good now. She is much prettier than she was a week ago :) I remembered that I have my first grow light, which is more compact and it will give me more space, so I changed my light, now the girl's side branches get light too:) I add a lot of video memes, because I really want to win Iphone16 pro ;) and those who don't take risks don't drink champagne:) good luck to everyone.
