Overall great strain to grow. She looks and smells amazing and her buds are big, dense and full of trichomes. I’m always impressed by the quality of genetics from this company.

Had to go another week in veg but damn these plants look good! Transplanted 2 of the snowcandy late and put them in 5 gallon pots instead of 3 gallon and I’m using dry amendments for these 2. The other 4 will be fed liquid nutes. Switching to 12/12 next week!

2 plants made it to harvest. Small nugs, about an ounce per plant dry. A lot of frosty trim and small nugs I’ll be using for hash later. I had rooting issue when I flipped to flower that definitely negatively effected nutrient uptake. Small yield but quality is good. Smells almost like a sugary jelly bakery. Cured for a week, tastes sweet almost.

First of all thanks to the SSSC for this opportunity, this is going to be a test grow fot the club but also a pheno hunt at the same time! We started to germinate 8 regular seeds for this first diary the 21st of august, next couple of days i will update the germination ratio! And after that the week 1 starts hopefully we get a reasonable amount of females here!

- I didn't weight wet buds. - The trichomes photos have been taken just before the harvest on buds all over the plants. - The hash balls were : a little less than 1cm diameter for the Mandarin Punch#1 and around 3mm diameter for the Mandarin Punch#2 - Drying was made at 20°C and around 50% of humidity. - Humidity in jar around 50% on the first day, temperature around 20°C. MANDARIN PUNCH #1 Veg time : 44 days. Flowering time : 70 days. Total time from seed to harvest : 114 days. Height : 142cm Pot size : 26l Harvest : 61g MANDARIN PUNCH #2 Veg time : 45 days. Le 42e jour ce passe très bien. Les plantes sont au milieu de la prefloraison et ne vont pas tarder à arrêter leurs croissance pour se concentrer sur les bourgeons ainsi j'adapte l'alimentation au circonstances. J'ai rattrapé l'erreur de pH même si cela reste précaire les plantes se portent dans l'ensemble très bien 🌱🙏

Hadn’t really planned on starting veg in the middle of the night but I’m an insomniac and I think they were ready. Transplanted into clay pellets pre washed and pre soaked in ph 5.8 RO water. Going to flood for 15 minutes every 6 hours. Wanted to start off very light and technaflora recipe for success didn’t exactly say what to do for early veg, so decided to go 1/4 strength to start and work up from there. Starting at roughly 50% on the dimmer and will gradually ramp up. Added a humidifier since I’m in a very dry climate. First grow, hoping I’m not overthinking this. Wish me luck. Update 3/27 Realized I didn’t have enough water in my reservoir and plants were looking pretty stretchy. Added 5 gallons of ph5.8 1/4 strength solution. Shooting for 400 ppm for week 1 of actual veg. Plants are officially a week old from dropping in soil plugs. I think I’m going to count this as start of veg since I kinda screwed up with water level. Thankfully clay was soaked when I transplanted. Update 3/30 Plants stretched a little bit yesterday and started to topple over. Spent the better part of yesterday trying to keep them upright. In retrospect I originally transplanted these way too tall. Carefully dug away pellets and replanted deeper so leaves are just above ground level. All plant root systems look healthy. Bottom left plant is looking sadder than the rest with some droopy leaves. It was the stretchiest of the bunch. Update 3/31 PH had crept up to 6.4. Added 5 gal of ro water to top off. Brought ppm up to 400 and ph down to 5.8. Plants bounced back very nicely from deeper transplant. Running humidifier on lowest setting while lights are on to keep it around 70% rh Update 4/1 Upped nutes from 400 to 650ppm. Trying to ramp up to full strength by second week of veg. PH had crept up to like 6.5, brought it down to 5.8. Humidifier is only on during the day. At night it causes humidity to skyrocket and droplets to form on leaves even on lowest setting. May need to get it on a timer or just get a better humidifier. This 2.2L sucks

For the last month, I've been dealing with severe back issues. Not gonna lie, but it's been challenging to keep up with daily DWC chores. That aside, this particular girl recently had ph swings, so reservoir change end of week 6 flower. I also switched from Fox Farm to GH trio and supplementing with FF Chi Ching during week 5 and into week 6 w/ppm running at 750-780. With bucket change beginning week 7, I went with just the trio lowering ppm to 500-520 range. I'm gradually bringing ppm down right up until flush. She's finishing nice, which is all I can ask after having stressed her out the gate. She's recovered nicely, and the terpenes/aromas are just filling up the tent. I get the Hawaiian Punch profile references. She sticks are sweetness. Ethos genetics, so happy with first run of this breeders gear and happy w/results so far being this is my first attempt at DWC. So I'm flushing this week, Sunday I used Flawless Finish and watered heavy early, and did a 2nd plain ro flush 6 hours later, I did the same thing Monday. Tuesday I did not give any water at all, Wednesday I flushed the same way with Flawless finish, but water 2 times after that night, I let everything dry Thursday and Friday, It is Saturday, Today I have used only RO water, I am done adding anything. I think I could call it good, but I am going to keep things going after today, tomorrow/Sunday, and Monday, I will not water again, Tuesday the light will not even come on and I will give it a couple days of dark to finish. I could use some tips on how to get some better pics. I try, I really do, but I'm not getting the pics my eyes are seeing, so in the center of the area is all yellow and marooning leaves, and the buds have a pink tint in that area. The trics are getting there, but not yet, I figure by end of week they should be right... almost all cloudy now, a few clear left, but barely any, the few amber here and there, but I'm also not taking a piece to check from the top either, I gettin a look at a few small little buds, near the top, but not the top, I feel like I'm close... , So anxious had to phone a friend to tell me why to wait today... lol, I'll test my runoff ppm's tonight just to be sure, but the way the coco is taking the water makes me think its clean. I'm always ready at the end, Garden of Green seeds have ALWAYS made me look like a great grower. I'm excited, The smells, is very strong, it has a sweeter smell, next week I should have harvesting pics... Thanks for checkin it out

AlienZ Automatic - Greenhouse Seed Co. Day 95 🚿 She was watered with 3L of just plain RO tap water, pH'd to 6.3, twice this week and has been left to dry back for the last five days 👍🏻 ✂️ To prepare her for harvest, she had the majority of her fan leaves and larger sugar leaves removed at the start of the week, this also allowed for more light to reach areas of the bud that had been shaded. For harvest, I performed a wet trim, to ensure she had as little foliage as possible on her, removing as many leaves and stems from her as possible, to prevent any moisture buildup during her dry 🙏🏻 🌸 Her bud is fully mature now, most of her pistils have turned amber with just new growth exhibiting white pistils. All of her trichomes have either turned milky or amber, with about 15% being amber 👌🏻. Her smell has also changed a bit and is now heavy on the citrus/grapefruit with undertones of floral/earthiness - very pleasant 🌸 ♈ She will now be dried in a dark cool room (at ~20 degrees celsius with ~60% humidity) for about 8 days before she is move into glass jar for her cure, which will last for at least a month before she is used 🤞🏻

Well this week has gone a bit pear shaped. I think it is a combination of light stress and the new soil I'm using. Also the soil had fungus gnats. I won't use it again but it was an experiment and I've learnt that soil isn't my substrate of choice! Back to my super coco mix! 😁 I'm going to see if I can pull it through. I've got plants through worse! Wish me luck. I watered twice this week with 1ltr of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6-6.5, containing 1ml of Ecothrive Trace and 1/4 TSP Ecothrive Biosys. I will say that the soil is very difficult for me to judge the moisture level to water accordingly. Day 44 01/07/2025, I flushed with a quarter strength nutrient solution but kept with the usual does of cannazym and Rhizotonic as sure it could only help her, im experiencing some issues with yellowing and a few brown spots plus tip burn, I've never done an auto before and never considered that they might need less feed than a photoperiod, feel very stupid, so with that being considered I think it was probably for the best and will move forward with half strength feeds. I am also actually trying to get the night cycle in check as I've been advised of some processes that won't happen with the low VPD that I was allowing to happen at night, the dehumidifier works but also heats the room up to nearly daytime temps, it's a desiccant dehumidifier though and I think it just pumps out more heat, I'll have to reinvest in a more suitable dehumidifier Maybe the issue is too much calmag, it also has iron in it and an iron excess can cause a manganese deficiency, unsure.. I have had some heat issues over the last week hit 30c for a short time and has been consistently over 28c, I have kept the humidity higher to keep vpd in line but it's not great, this is just due to some very warm conditions in my area over the last week or so, and I just don't have the cooling capacity to deal with it, hoping things cool down a bit now so I can at least make sure temperature is ok..
