10/21- Flower has begun!! I've been gradually removing growth from under the canopy that I dont anticipate will become sizeable buds. Now we wait for the stretch. Took a few clones to try my hand at that. Air is drying out big time lately. I'm probably going to have to give in and buy a humidifier because it's going to be essential to keep my buds from drying out too fast and keeping these plants in healthy rh range. Despite humidity swings, plants seem to be doing well across the board so I already have a leg up on my last grow. I sprayed for bugs as a precaution. Neem and peppermint Castille soap diluted in water was the choice. Left a residue on my plants though so live been keeping my light between 30-40% and gradually turning up the intensity each day until I reach where I was(70) I dont want to burn my leaves because I have treating for bugs before. I will add pictures this weekend. This is posted on Day one so there's really not too much change to show in the plants. Really excited to see how they develop over the next 2 weeks. 10/24 Added pics of two plants. I accidently deleted my shoot of GZ 2 and I don't feel like taking them out of the tent again because it's a bit of a pain with the net. It's much taller than it's sister and maybe the healthier plant at this point. Moby dick is a bush, very healthy even still. No real signs of flower yet. They do seem to be stretching a bit but when you look everyday it's hard to tell. I'm hoping to have a really nice canopy in a week.

Explosion part 3! This plant is considered Autoflowering, but I would say is most likely a regular one! She is just HUUUGE, hopefully I was able to stop her growing but side branches reached the 83cm and almost touching the LED... I've introduced Bloombastic (0.5ml per liter) and I will gradually increase till 1.5ml per liter and stop when will be time to flush. Buds are getting bigger but I'm thinking that she will need at least 3 more full weeks... Hopefully with some good results at the end! I obligatory defoliated her and also removed some small side branches, without any stress encountered. I'll keep you guys posted, stay tuned, stay high!

Yo guys ... Update for our beautiful Peyote Critical (sister of the two that can be seen in the other diary) ... As the title suggests, she is growing in a super soil, mostly mining rocks, with a 15% of animal derivation (worm / krill) .... The idea is to keep the level of Brix high ... I'm trying ... I know ', the 11 liter pot is a little bit small for a super soil ... but it does not do badly ... The other two are also in a pre-mixed soil, so that they have to give them only h20 .. but with a completely different "recipe" (practically only guano kalong in addition to the soil with worm humus, light mix and coconut) ... Anyway ... she compared to the other two, she is a few days late ... The perfume is very good, more delicate than the others, but practically the same ... Not I can say that it is the composition of the soil that creates differences, because not being clones would not make much sense ..... every seed is still different .....this is also the beauty .... The plant is excellent from all points of view ... we'll see the final result ....still little more than ten days, and we will have to say goodbye .... See you at the next update .... Lots of growth this week and working to solve the humidity issues - Jack had a trim! I think it's probably because of the size of my pots but these girls just won't stop growing! I bit the bullet and did some light defoliation on Jack this week - it didn't seem to phase her at all so I'm a bit more confident about going further. I decided to giver her a bit of a trim, mostly the lower fan leaves. It was because she was so dense and tucking the leaves wasn't really working out, she bounced back fine so now I'm thinking of giving her a bigger trim - not sure I've got the guts though! I've kept feeding her a little bloom every couple of days, not sure if it's helping with her size and density but I don't really want to stop. Flowers are developing but not as quickly as those on the Chocolate Orange, Jack doesn't smell quite as much as her any more either. To fix the humidity issues I diverted the extraction duct to another room which seems to have made a big difference, RH is now consistently under 57% and usually around 55% - still not ideal but I don't think I'll get it much lower. I've moved the fan so that there's plenty of air moving over the canopy - hopefully enough to keep away the mould as the grow progresses.

YESTERDAY BAD THINGH HAPPENED. I realized that the PH meter was broken and the PH res were very much lower than what I guessed!! The roots was immerged from many days in a really acid solution. So I completely changed the res and eliminated all the rotten branches (that was many). I hope my girl will survive to this bad stress. Finger crossed New Res: 11/06 EC: 1,24 PH: 5,97 12/06 EC: 1447 PH: 6,38 13/06 EC: 1335 PH: 6,16 14/06 From now on, I will give only GHE Ripen (Final Part) to her. Planning to change the res on Friday, for the last two weeks of ripening with only ripen and bio bloom, adjusting the PH whenever above 6 to give some relief to her after 13 days in an acid solution. she seems to recover now (fingers crossed) Today I added 1L with 5ml of ripen and 4 drops of Bio Bloom and PH+ to raise up until 6,4. Now the res is: EC: 1403 PH: 6,45 15/06 The girl is survived and this is the only news I would like to hear! Now the PH is stable and the acid solution should be finally gone. From now on I will dispense only RIPEN: added 1l with 4 ml of ripen. On Friday night I will add florakleen for 24 hours and then on Saturday night new res with only ripen and Bio bloom before the final flush. 6/8 Haven't had to water yet (besides the two tens and I should've held off). It's an overcast day. Perfect for the plants. I've noticed more off shoots of 3 pronged leaves so a few plants will reveg but thats fine. I'm happy with how things are going thus far. These are certainly very resilient strains. I've done some SLIGHT LSTing. EDIT: IT'S BEEN A NICE DAY TODAY. A LITTLE OVERCAST BUT SUNNY AT TIMES. PERFECT WEATHER FOR THE GIRLS. THEY ARE LOVING IT OUT THERE! 6/9 And the girls are lookin' Fiiiiiine. In all seriousness everything is doing pretty good. Even that overwatered pink kush runt in the 10gal is coming out of its little funk. Some of my FIM's turned out amazing! With the reveg of some of these I'll definately have my hands full. Very grateful for smart pots and well draining soil! We've gotten some harsh rain but the girls all seem fine. It's the wind today that's a little worrisome. I may stop over later. I COULD put up tarps around the cage as wind blocks (and have before in the past) but it increases the humidity of an already extremely humid day. These girls are strong. I'm sure they'll be fine. I've found that the tarps typically hurt worse than they help. 6/10 56° at 9am. Shook the plants off. Medium wasn't soaked though. Luckily we had some wind. It's not raining now but it's going to have showers for half the day. Tomorrow is supposed to be in the 80's and sunshine so if that comes through things might workout alright. I still haven't had to water this year besides that one gallon on the tens. If I do something I'll update. I'm considering light stepping the two pink kush's in the 10's. I'll need to do more research.

I was selected to test some of Fastbuds new genetics. Seeds germinated in 48hrs and 6 days later it broke ground and hasent slowed down. This grow is in my 4x4ft grow space located in an uninsulated shed. Each plant has a dedicated 150-200w LED from Viparspectra or Mars. Winter Temps in my area spike to -15C or more in Jan and Feb, so this will be an interesting and challenging grow. The grow room is 20-30C above ambient temperature, so there is a little manual and auto manipulation of grow Temps. The next feeding, I added a gallon of tap water to residual and ph to 6,31 temp 69 & PPm 1120. Did the same on 5/14 and 15 using up the remainder of the feed solution. I must monitor and control the tent environment manually. For the past month, the humidifier has been an issue putting out way too much humidity; often leaving water in the bottom of the tent. In addition, the temperatures are also out of control. I added an AC last week to keep the temperature below 80. I finally determined the exhaust vent is also broken and has been for some time. I have been giving good reviews on the AC infinity system. However, during the time I’ve owned this tent (2 yrs), I had to replace the lights twice, fans, humidifier and now the vent twice also. Everything but the tent containment has been replaced. AC infinity does stand by their products, but they are in California, and it takes at least 2 weeks to receive the replacement. This is extremely frustrating at the critical transition to flower for my equipment to fail again. For the time being until a replacement arrives, I pulled the 4” exhaust vent from my 3x3 and hooked it up. I have the AC pushing air in and the exhaust pulling air out. This should create a neutral pressure tent environment-neither positive nor negative. I do have 3 circulating fans in the tent to move air around the plants. It looks like growth spurts have slowed and plant height has been reached. Now is the time for buds to fatten and frost up. All of them (6) are short remaining less than 3 ft. They range from 15 to 31 inches. The tallest #4 &5 and #6 have very light leaves and appear nutrient deficient compared to the shorter phenotypes. Pictures taken later in the week show fading on a few the older leaves. All are receiving the same solution and are in the same soil blend. Moving the gals in and out of the tent for their glamor shots, I bent one limb and snapped another. The bent one I taped with a splint and the snapped one I medicated manuka honey and wired it back to the main stalk. Leaves look like sativa leaning. I hope FBA2502-2 is a good daytime. I’m getting excited to see what develops in the next month or so. News Break: I’ve been informed that 2502 is FastBuds New Frostbanger and is indica for nighttime. I’m disappointed that I didn’t get a sativa to test because I really need a daytime strain. The 2 Blue Cheese plants I just grew are also nighttime. Upon opening the tent, a faint odor was detected, and some stickiness was observed during the process of defoliation. Pictures of the puffy buds even show differences. #4 &5 buds hairs are different from the others being crinklier and the others are straighter. Some like #2 &5 are showing frost on the leaves. Wow at the beginning of flower to have that much frost. They are living up to the new strain’s name. I’ve noticed that when I water, sometimes water shoots out of the side holes I the air pots. grew well despite some kind of immobile nutrient deficiency in the growth cycle. yield is good. Responds very well to some LST. My experience with this strain suggests a longer curing time to temper the unique sweetness of this strain.
