Off to the races after the first week of veg. And the girls are looking good. They had about 24-48 hours of transplant shock but have since turned over and look perky. They never fully transitioned and all of em look like they’re turning back around. Definitely starting to see some pheno variation on one of the indicas (F6) - trademark from the Skywalker 100%. A light bluish/purpleish hue on the fan leaves. We’ll see what happens over the next week then probably just pick a day and flip. We don’t need em huge - just big enough to show off dem buds. On the hardware side of this grow, the mods to the dutchy system look to be working well. It just makes plant management easier with a full trough drain as opposed to individual drainage holes. Really, the system isn’t a concern for the most part. It’s proven time and time again how manageable a recirc system can truly be. Scaling down to smaller pots and more plants has also been a revelation of sorts around here. We used to grow monsters and now the aim is strictly proportional yields across a wider array of genetics. Been a great trip so far🤟. Couple more boring weeks of veg. And as soon as the breeding tent is cleaned up and pollen free - it’s go for blast-off👍. Background This cycle of clones represents all the potential of this F1 line of WalkerBerry OG. Bred by myself over the last couple of years. This genetic shows excellent hybrid vigour, incredibly stable nutrition requirements to date and an eclectic mix of long and short internodal spacing bu specimen. We know we have indica and sativa dominant traits spread evenly across the 6 available clones. Now it’s just a matter of seeing them run out under controlled and pollen free conditions. We’ve labelled each plant and it’s resulting seed accordingly. Once we get to the F2 run, we’ll hopefully be able to isolate down to 2-3 phenos if the bud is any good. From there, who knows. It’d be great to get to a finished, stable generation that would be fem worthy but that could be a very long way off. For now - we’ll focus on this line and see where it goes🤞🤞.

Day 79: 7th week of flowering. Things remain the same 600W lamp, 12/12, humidity like 50 percent, fertilization with Biobizz family on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, Bat Guano on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday. Water intake 400 ml per plant per day I start flushing the Zkittlez she is almost ready. Rest of them need more weeks to be done. Day 81: I removed unwanted fan leaves. I will not water them for 2 days on Saturday and Sunday to shock them a bit. Day 84: So today (Saturday) and tomorrow (Sunday) No water for 24K Gold, Blue Sherbet S1, and Fruit Tree. Zkittlez in flush so she will be harvested soon I won't give her water the last 3 days.

Started weird and grew weird, looks great.... I really love coloured weed. Have had time to cure this so I hope I can revise it later

60x60x120cm tent. Basic cheap one not sure what brand, if any. 200w CFL for veg, and a 250w HPS for bloom. Gonna continue with biobizz and maybe a couple of other supplements later down the road. Soil is biobizz allmix. Says pH ready so no need to adjust. Hopefully that's right!

February 14, 2019 update: I rearranged the plants to get better airflow. In the video I mentioned that I thought I saw what might be spider mites. After closer inspection, I don't think its spider mites but more likely a combination of left over damage from the fungus gnats that came in with my wife's plant a few weeks ago (now gone) as well as ph fluctuations. But I like getting airflow on the plants themselves anyway, I just wish the oscillation worked on the fan I have now. I'll buy a new fan or two with oscillation soon. Also I failed to mention it in the video but there is also a ceiling fan blowing down on the plants. Overall, I'm very happy. The DinaMed CBD+ has taken the lead in the bud development category, Nice fat buds that are very dense. Sticky and stinky as hell too. She is supposed to be somewhere in the teens for CBD percentage and less than 1% THC. I'm hoping she either comes in below 0.3% or has well over 1%. I'm allowed to submit for testing 3 weeks before harvest. I'm going to cut a mid level branch and submit for testing next weekend. My other DinaFem strain, Critical +, is doing great too! She's in the lead with the most trichome development. Her buds are coming along great also! Not super fat, at least not yet, but great shape, color, density and have I mentioned the trichome development yet? 👍 This one is supposed to have mild CBD, low single digits, but high THC. I'm looking forward to smoking this one! Next up I'll talk about my Cream & Cheese CBD+ from Seedsman. She's in the lead with just overall looking awesome!!! The buds are long and super healthy looking with tons of leaves along the branches and I've defoliated a few times. The remaining leaves don't seem to be blocking much because most branches are bent over due to the weight of the buds! She is supposed to be in the 20's with BOTH THC and CBD. I'm looking forward to smoking this one also! 💪 That leaves the 3 Cherry Hemp plants. They are the smallest 3 plants in the room, but are all looking very good as well. They look like they are in the lead with possibly being ready to harvest earliest. I'm seeing the most amount of darkened and curled in hairs on these 3. The largest/oldest of the 3 is starting to show fading on the leaves. She may be ready in the next week or two. I'm waiting to start seeing some amber trichomes, so far they are still all white. These are supposed to be around 16% CBD and less than 0.3% THC. I'll be taking these in for testing soon and will be using these strictly for making CBD products - Salves, Oils, Capsules, etc... I'll keep you posted on this. This week I fed MegaCrop and Cal-Mag Pro (both by Greenleaf Nutrients). I fed according to their feeding schedule for late bloom. I think I'm going to stick with Greenleaf Nutrients for the duration of this grow rather than changing it up as I have been. Its super easy stuff to work with. 👍

Its smell has changed a bit as well, its not as fruity as it was earlier on or its diluted by all the other smells in the tent, might be a sign I am giving them to much water at a time as well. Still giving them a 2:1 or 2.5:1 grow vs bloom nutrient. Its helping with some of the pink stems from last week. Feeding strength is up .2 point to reach 900ppm or aorund 1.8EC will leave it here fro the remainder of Veg. Prob will do for 2 more weeks then flip to flower as I just topped them and want to give them some time to recover. NPK ratio of 7-7-14 1:1 equal parts grow/bloom. Grow=8-4-15 Bloom=6-10-14 Boost=1-15-30 "not yet used it yet" Also took some clones from the plants as well, took two main cuttings from each plant, forgot to do the one so its not shown in the first video up the updated clone pics later in the week. If any of these impress me then the clones will go outside and grow there all year for a extra special harvest. Week5 Vegetative steering Day 29 ————- 4 minute shots(220+-ml). 50-60klux 68 leaf temp Defoliated/Lollipopped Plants seem to be inefficiently spaced. I moved them all closer and they are now positioned better under the lights ———— Day 30 VPDis about a .95 Vegetative steering schedule for 3gal who drink a little over a quart a day 220 P1 440 P1 660 P1 880 P1 1000 P1 1220 P2 1330(1%)P3 I achieve runoff at end of P1 then do a maintenance shot and finish the day off with a watering. P1 waters every 15 min starting 1.5hours after lights on Plants are swelling. But not as well as when i use CO2. I think plants in flower still need co2 so that we can get these lights closer.(as long as the leaf(temp does not go over 80 and vpd stays good) Also, i found a plant to have hermied in week 2 so i removed the pollen sac and rubbed some pollen on 2 plants. Seems like they are just starting to take form on the flowers. **need to check for hermies beginning week 2** Am happy to get seeds from these ladies as this was very isolated in the grow ________________ Day 31 Plants are starting to frost. Group1 has swelled the most Group 2 has average growth and nice frost Group 3 looks like it was over dosed. *Bras&MJ study shows that MJ does mot need to be sprayed with Bras as it will over stress the plants. Brass was completely fine to spray without having adverse reactions. MJ seems to decrease yields but is a worthy tradeoff(will continue to use)-* ————— Day 32 Sprayed 2 plants with MJ(they now have been sprayed both week 4&6) Sprayed 3 with bras(also have been sprayed twice in flower) Finally frosting On the plants

Week 2 of flowering phase Critical royal queen seeds Hallo fellow growers here we go Day 8 flowering phase looking good amazing to see them developing up close day by day . Today no watering maybe some defoliation below the net but that it cool beans 😎 Day 9 Flowering phase Didn't see the plant for 20hours and jebus they grew over night they went up 15cm . But they are looking healthy Gave them almost 1.2L nutrients was getting dry that was it . Day 10 flowering phase Today adjust some things in the tent it didn't feel a right not to happy with tents quality 🤔 also it's very challenging to get to back corner plant. I need to fully open the tent. There are no peak holes ore other opening to get to the back . And it feels unstable. The Plants i only did some final defoliation and gave 0.5l normal water Day 11 flowering phase Plants looking okay to me. Didn't water them today want to let them dry out some . I think because of all the watering i am Struggling with the humidity in the tent . It is around 80% and that little dehumidifier don't do jack patetoe . Def need to think of a solution for later in the weeks Day 12 Flowering phase Gave nuts water and put a 2nd ScrOG up a little higher . Advanced Nutrients is getting 10/10 for me Day 14 Flowering phase Week 2 of flowering phase complete It was a learning week for me . Got bit scared how they grow 15 cm in a day . But it's seems to be oké i got still some real estate left. I think that i am not giving them any water what so ever . I need to learn to let them dry out some . Also a bit struggling with humidity in the tent . I am trying to give them water right before light on ore right after light out . Week 3 Flower At week 3 I increase the pH to 6, as it is easier for the plants to uptake certain nutrients that are most important for flower, such as Phosphorus, Potassium, Calcium and Magnesium (plus more). It's not crucial to do this, and a nice healthy crop can still be the result from staying at 5.8, but it's all about making the girl's lives as easy and stress free as possible. It makes the nutrients more easily available for the plant to uptake so why not make it easier! With the two at the back still growing strong I stopped feeding Remo Grow at the start of the week and stopped feeding silicon mid week to hopefully slow their stretch and start concentrating on bulking. Astro Flower is being fed at a stronger does now their flowers are growing faster. They're all coming along very nicely and looking healthy. They've completely bounced back from their heavy leaf strip and they'll soon start to show frost so I'm excited to smell the flavours we have in these beauties 🏄‍♂️🍇 Thanks for following and happy growing! 🐺

I really enjoyed this strain to grow, did a little mistake and flipped them to 12/12 too early (I anticipated too much the stretch and with the mainlining technique, stretch was not that bigger). Amazing smell, full of trichomes. And probably next time I won't use the tabs from biotabs because you can't really control how much nutriments your plant will have, but the others products from biotabs worked really well!

And the time for Le Madame Freak Le Chick to come down as arrived!!! How did you create/breed Freakshow? A. Methodical selection, line breeding, and culling is the short answer. Read our About page for more details. Q. Is it an indoor or outdoor type? A. Everything I've ever worked has been outdoors, including of course Freakshow. It has been our experience that outdoor (or sun grown, as it's recently being referred to) cultivars seem to perform extremely well under artificial conditions. The exact heritage of any cultivar today is impossible to determine accurately. Also, considering the amount of continuous shameless hybridization that has occurred in the last 40 yrs., any modern kind could easily contain over 40 kinds. In the case of Freakshow, it's much more limited because the ancestry is largely older "Sativas" that didn't go through as much outcrossing. In the 70s in Santa Cruz, Haze was a favorite among surfers for the pure energy and I still have (greatly improved) stock of it around, simply because even when I made hybrids with it I always kept the original in pure form for obvious reasons. Q. What is the psychoactive effect like? A. Like the flavors, many people have commented that the "buzz" is somewhat different than other mainstream types out there. It's not entirely out of the scope of imagination that given that this strain has new alleles in so many other respects, that it could also contain new, unique cannabinoids, as well as new and unique terpenoids, some of which may not even be among the standard 16 or so that the average lab is testing for. Aside from the up, cerebral, energetic boost, some report a mild time/space warp effect. Creativity and idea induction should be mentioned, for sure. Freakshow has the pure energy effect and greatly alters perception to the positive side, so definitely destroys depression. Appetite suppression is a side effect, but the enjoyment of food is enhanced. I personally will attest to all of the above. We all have different receptor profiles, so these are just generalizations. Couch unlock. Q. Is it pest and mildew resistant? A. Indeed it is. On many occasions in the last few years, it has been observed that when pest and mildew issues were affecting other plants adjacent to in the vicinity of Freakshow plants, for unknown reasons the freaks remained entirely unaffected. This includes 0botritis, PM, various mites and insects, soil fungus, etc. We haven't heard any complaints along those lines so far, so if anyone has any problems, especially with a rigorous IPM regimen in place, we would like to hear about it. And if anyone can attest to the extreme level of resistance it seems to have we'd love to hear about that as well. Q. Does it contain web-leaf genetics? A. I thought I better clarify this because there are a few people thinking that because of an article "Growing Marijuana that Doesn't look like Marijuana" that mentions that I had worked web-leaf types years ago and had eventually turned that into Freakshow. This is incorrect and I'm needing to get ahold of the writer to have him change it. When I read the piece and saw the mistake I figured it didn't matter that much, that the actual method of breeding could just remain a "trade secret". Recently, I noticed online that a posting, "Freakshow only exists because of duckfoot" by Curious Cannabis Connoisseur, where he explains how I developed Freakshow using Duckfoot. Let me explain, about 20 yrs. ago a friend gave me a jar of seeds labeled "BC Bigbud" and I sprouted flats of hundreds to look for oddities and had found one web-leaf pheno which we named Webster. It was a female so I bred it to a normal leaf male and began selecting and stabilizing a line of Webster. About 5 or 6 generations later I had nailed it to 100% webs and had also stabilized it for a deep purple color and a nice "gingerbread" terp profile. I was busy working other lines at that point so I put Webster in the library. Also, I was having a hell of a time getting a pheno of it that flowered to my satisfaction. (it seemed to finish with a limited number of calyxes). I knew I would have to outcross it to something with a big tasty bud and restabilize it for web-leaf, and I no longer had the original BC Bigbud. I still have the Webster seeds, and trust me the thought has crossed my mind to make the cross with Freakshow, but why? Why mess around crossing things just to create something even weirder? I have heard that the "Duckfoot" also doesn't bud up well so maybe there's a correlation there. Anyway, people can do what they want to and I will too, but crossing Freakshow with some low-THC crap like ABC is in my opinion idiotic. I worked extremely hard stabilizing and perfecting a beautiful new subspecies and I believe it should be kept pure. I won't go on a rant here about the rampant crossing and the lack of line-breeding in the cannabis world in the last several decades, or where this will eventually lead us, but I will say that it's not in a good direction. Bottom line....Freakshow has no web-leaf genes, it was made using top-grade tropical narrow-leaf drug (NLD) cultivars. Q.Why is Freakshow patented? A. Although I and most others (including all the folks at HSC) believe in and subscribe to the concept of "open sourcing" because sharing in cannabis genetics was always the cultural norm, it was decided that Freakshow should be protected (1) because it is a novel and unique, not a preexisting strain (or even subspecies), (2) To keep the greedy corporate big boys from exploiting it, (3) To maintain control of the genetic refinement of it in all future generations. This week I decided to remove the LST and let her strech out as much as she wants. I lollipopped her on day 49 and cutted down all the branches that will never grow to the light. She has to strech as much as possible because there are some way taller plants under the same light. I hope she gonna produce some nice flower and will continue to strach abit.
