Week two is upon us ! I have a new pocket size humidifier and it works great!! The low temperatures of my nights already bring out some purple on the leaves. Im pleased to see this so early in its lifespan. Although i have to be careful not to stunt her with too cold nights. I mixed a 1/4 of the recommended dose of nutrients for her first feeding. By doing so im reducing the risk of nutrients burn. To be honest i will get a few burnt tips on the firs set of leaves but id rather have a bit too much then less at this stage. The first leaves will drop first so i wont mind them being less attractive. The internode distance is good for a indica so far and i am pleased of the results so far. The glasses i use are yellow tinted and apparently they do a good job at correcting the colours for spotting deficiencies

Hello fellow growers, I am pleased to start this new journey with you. I am also particularly excited since I am going to grow a Mephisto Genetics strain for the very first time, the famous Double Grape. I know you shouldn't believe the hype, as Public Enemy used to say, but it's hard to ignore the dithyrambic reviews when it comes to Mephisto. I sowed the seed directly in the substrate and it was popping out 3 days later. Right now the seedling is under my Mars Hydro TS1000, brightness set at 25%, lights are 80cm away. During my last grows I set it up to the max at all stages of growth, this time I decided to proceed differently and increase gradually. Please let me know in the comments if you think I should just push it to the max right away. I would like to thank HESI nutrients team for sending me a great Starter Pack! Doubled the nutes this week, ive never followed the feeding chart because the regular feedings were enough. Since I'm outside and i figured I'd give it more to work with since I am trying to pull an obscene number with the size pot I'm working with and veg time. The nodes on the side branches are sort of reluctant to stretch out, same are big enough to train many aren't but nothing that should concern me. Had some crazy high winds today, I called that free training.

D21 - Last girl standing. She may be all alone in the tent, but she is thriving and looking healthy, and I hope to have another girl soon to keep her company. I gave her about 0.5 liters of water @ pH 6.1. D24 - The girl is thriving: 12 cm tall, 24 cm wide. Short and stocky like Cartman. I switched the light from about 40% to 60% yesterday, and I'm now reading around 500-600 PPFD at the canopy level. On the high end for sure, so let's see how she handles it. However, the daytime temp in the tent jumped up to around 30 degrees C after I switched the light. #tinytentproblems D24 (part 2) - Alright, it's only been a few hours, but it is clear that she REALLY didn't enjoy that sudden increase in photons. After some hours under the more intense light, I checked on her, and she displayed several signs of light stress, such as her leaf edges curling upward ("taco"-ing) while the whole leaf was drooping. Clearly, she wasn't happy, so I dimmed the light until I saw around 430 PPFD at the canopy level. She is "sleeping" now, but I will check on her tomorrow to see how she reacts. D27 - Today was the last day in week three of veg. I think she is already going into pre-flower, and she already has a faint smell to her. She is 16 cm tall and 28 cm wide. I haven't trained her yet but will start doing some LST next week. I also started brewing compost tea (worm castings, neem meal, kelp meal, biochar, rock dust, algal limestone, bentonite, and molasses) which I will leave overnight and feed to her tomorrow.

The plants look very healthy and they have big and dense buds , ill havr to wait anothe week or cuple days until harvest even tho it may be a bit soon for it. One of the plants has started to root its top head of the buds , but i soupose its because of the temp . The air is getting dry cuz of the hot weather even tho im using 250w-400w lights on them . Trichromes look preety good and the bud is frosty . Some of the plants are not ready yet for some reason so i think i have to give them a bit more time

Hello and welcome to week 7 beginning for Nesia, the largest and most advanced 6 week old plant I have ever grown. I update daily so week 6 is now complete. Please do check it out! I have added some comparisons shots of Karen, the oldest girl of this [G2] series to show just how impressive Nesia is. Nesia is 25 days younger than Karen and she is already a larger plant. This diary is not very popular or comment filled right now, but as this grow progresses I really think it's going to gain some attention. Nesia is going to be big. Day 44: Nesia stretching fast now. Day 45: Flowering is going well. I have adjusted the timer such that the main tent is now getting 20/4 upped from 18/6. After monitoring DLI at 18/6 for a week I am unhappy with the overall level but because of the varying heights of the plants I am limited in what I can do in adjusting the light height. Some areas were only getting 20 DLI. So I have rearranged to have the taller plants on the edges and the lowest in the middle and doing it this way all plants are getting between 35 and 50 DLI at 20/4 - although one or two cola tips here and there are getting 55. Will monitor for a week. Day 46: Fertigated 5l Day 47: Nesia is really moving into flower strongly now. Pistil development has started proper, stretching rapidly. Day 49: Nesia starting to pose me a challenge. She is big. Now by far the largest plant. She has reached 50cm height and 70cm across. I will add proper photos later and do a week summary. Day 49: Nesia is stretching really fast now. I hope she doesn't stretch much more but I fear we're only halfway done. She's way bigger than Karen now. Taller, wider. Fertigated 5l End of week summary... well what can I say Nesia has now surpassed Karen (25 days older) in every size and growth metric. She is following exactly the same pattern except without all the problems. I think she still has 2 weeks of stretching to go, on that basis I am expecting her to grow upto 25cm in the next week and the same again the week after - so I think Nesia is going to end up being about 1m tall. Honestly I hope not though, but let us see.
