01/27/2022 Got a couple stragglers in cups but working on getting more pots. I apologize for rough looking leaves on the plants, I've been spraying neem oil as a preventative, and to also boost immune responses I've been doing aspirin in water regime so leaves can get beaten up being scavenged for extra energy. Update; February 14th, 2023. From the moment I flipped to flower, they’ve been exploding with growth! They are super healthy! They grow back and fill in so fast after defoliating, no matter how heavy I go. I’ve added the supplemental lighting (Viparspectra 600) this week to really get the most I can. Figuring out a way to mount it higher.

Week 12 Flower 8 Pink Rozay This week was all about checking trichomes. Pink Rozay trichomes show mostly milk and amber. There are a few heads that are dark brown that indicate too late to harvest. The older pistils are turning orange brown and water consumption is slowing down. These and the trichome indicators indicate readiness. Based on this, I put Pink Rozay in the cool garage with low light and ice on top of the pot at night this week. My friends raved about this strain. Great taste great high and density was fantastic! Overall five stars and I only did one plant because I only had one seed and I may grow this one again. I always LST my plants and I got almost 7 ounces off of this one with only about six weeks of veg.

Day 91 - She is still flowering, but slowly.

Clones termination. Mom's flowering. Yep, this is an example of how it should not be done. The clones survived two cases of tip rot and a transplant after cleaning the tips. They finally developed some roots, but still didn’t make it. I kept only one, but I need two. So… the mom is about to start flowering after stretching, and I cut eight branches again to make a second clone. After some bending and tying, the mom returned to the flower room. If your light has a flower mode, now is the time to turn it on. The fast stretch period is over, so add some red light. It helps with yield. This time we’re going to do it right, using the experience from the first attempt at cloning. Check the clones 2–5 times a day. Keep the propagator lid closed at all times, and don’t let water touch the cloning medium. Also, the cubes shouldn’t be soaking wet, just moist. This balance between water content and airflow is crucial for future roots.

In week 9 my 'Fruity Terp' ladies have grown substantially and filled out the space in my HOMEBOX growtent. Therefore its time to do a round of defoliation. I take out my plants one by one and cut off the lowest branches on the stem (the ones not grown tall enough to get good light) and also the biggest fan-leaves (the ones shading the lower part of the canopy). The defoliation will increase the airflow thru my plants, which will in turn help to avoid mold from a build-up of humidity between the leaves. The light can now also penetrate deeper into the canopy now and therefore lower buds will also get more light and can grow bigger. The SANlight EVO4-120 LEDs are doing a GREAT job, my babies love their spectrum and intensity and grow like hell. The nutrients from BIO NOVA work EXCELLENT, all plants have a nice healthy green color. Since we are further in flowering now, I also add PK 13-14 from BIO NOVA following their 'SOIL-CULTIVATION' schedule.
