This week is all about the buds gaining weight, and hopefully starting to join together to form big long colars but we’ll have to wait and see due to the slow start to flower.

The smell I wish I could package and save its so delightful and nice. The flowers are fattening up great. I'd guess maybe one more week tops. I'm already seeing mostly cloudy heads on the trichomes. Hey now, I hope everyone is having a great weekend, it was a good week for the ladies in the 5X5, they are all starting to stack flowers and really starting to distinguish their own smells. The Bubble Runtz has the most indica dominant looking colas and smells absolutely amazing. The Sundae Driver is looking like she is gonna have the fattest colas and be the biggest producer. I am really hoping I get the red phenotype of the Red Hot Cookies, and both the Green Crack and Durban Nights are showing the most Sativa characteristics and looking great. I now have the Medic Grow Light cranked up to 100% in F1 mode and am also using the UV/IR for 30 minutes per day prior to lights out. I am running a 12/12 cycle and feeding the same mix of GH nutrients which include Silica, CalMag, MaxiBloom, and Bloom Booster, with additional food grade Hydrogen Peroxide in the reservoir to keep algea growth to a minimum. I mix one 5 gallon bucket of nutes per day and clean my reservoir once per week. My pump is set to auto feed the plants every 5 hours after lights on, and I have a gravity self draining runoff setup I built. Not much to do from here on out, just keep the reservoir clean and full, a little defoliation, and 5 minutes per day to mix a bucket of nutes.I hope they get fat in the next few weeks and then I have about 7 people lined up to help me trim, I will throw everyone two zips for the help. hoping to do the wet trim in a day. After top dressing and working the amendmants into the soil, I watered it in via garden hose with well water. 5/14- Today I decided to begin training the Wedding Cheesecake FF through the trellis net. After being topped previously, the two shoots are approximately 8" long now and when I went to spread them apart to feed them through the trellis squares I inadvertently broke one of them almost completely off where it joined the main stem. I immediately taped it back in place and also secured it to the trellis net to give it an extra measure of stability. Fingers crossed 🤞I'll know by tomorrow if my tape job was a success, or if I am going to lose part of the plant. 5/16- Well, my tape job was a shining success!🤩 The Wedding Cheesecake FF exhibited zero stress from the injury and the broken branches leaves are all up and 'praying'! the time is finally here, super OG was harvested (during a tornado warning at that😂) and she's currently drying in a 2x4 tent waiting to be cured. this is so surreal and we couldn't be happier over here! didn't get a wet weight but will get a dry one eventually.

Day36, 37, 38: Seems to be growing a set of leaves per day now. Super growth! Stretching to the top. Day39: I had a hiccup with the camera. For some reason it stopped responding at 04:30 in the morning. I only realized it much later. I still don't really know why, but reseating the data ribbon fixed the issue. Day40: After fixing the camera, I decided to take this view again. The Lady is starting to show some nice growth and this view will show it best. If you look carefully, you'll see that her branches are not green, but rather reddish. Definitely related to genetics :) Everything else is within limits. Plus, the leaves look super healthy. Day41: Here you can see the stem colour better.

I haven’t been able to keep up with my diary as much as I would have liked to. Through week 6 a lot of pistils started to make a name for themselves. I defoliated when I watered them but was very worried I would lower my yield since they are autos and photos. The beginning of week 7 is when zkittles started to suck up tons of water! She also started to have her branches stretch up, I don’t know if this is normal or if she’s trying to tell me something. The following days is when the rest of the plants started to suck up a good amount of water fast too. I’ve been watering every other day one day with bloom nutrients the next with just ph’d water.
