This plant is growing well, I transplanted them this week into 3 gallon pots from 1 gallon pots. Structure on this plant is pretty nice and visually pleasing to the eye lol.

The network for the ScrOG was stretched :-) It is really strange how fast it grows in Aerophonic :-) no comparison to all media 👍. As always, the water was completely replaced every 10-12 days and everything was cleaned. Borked the time tracking on the previous diary weeks, both are still going strong. Grapefruit is developing a lot of new internode fan leaves, but she's too late into bloom now to defoliate etc. and don't want to stress the GG XL either. Latest GG XL photos are in Week 5. Microgreens are also coming up fast. 17/07: Forgot to take Day 42 photos for both girls, my apologies as my wrists have been giving me hell but will get some more up soon. I've been keeping with the same watering schedule, some bud sites are being shaded by fan leaves so I'm trying to VERY carefully bend them down to prop up the little bud sites better. I've rubbed my fingers on some of the fan leaves to get rid of whatever weird white dust is ending up on my leaves, probably just debris from the air and the fan might need a cleaning soon but holy shit my fingers smell strong like Pomegranate and fruits. It's getting quite addictive to smell the bud sites and rub that resin of her fan leaves, I wish I could describe it better but damn it smells good. If the resin is any indication of the final smoke I know that the Grapefruit is gonna be dank. Can't wait till drying + harvest time :)) 18/07: Plucked off some lower burnt leaves that were really old, snipped off two more big fan leaves shading new bud sites and removed the stumps from old leaves rather making those closely cut down stubs instead so no bug invaders can get a free home. :P Humidity has been ridiculously high today >~65% and dropping now in the evening after the rain has stopped to <~60%, I added some Sodium Bicarbonate in plastic jars around the tent to help pull out water from the air. (18/07: Seems to be helping, I'm seeing about a ~2-5% drop overnight and this morning, usually the humidity in the morning before+after rain is ~60-65%) 20/07: The paper ref regarding RH and Bicarb. of Soda: W.-Y. Kuu et al. / International Journal of Pharmaceutics 166 (1998) 167–175 / PII: S0378-5173(98)00049-0 - I don't know how or why but keeping temps at ~21-23C drops the RH down to a stable mid-low 50's range. Thank fuck now I don't have to drop tonnes of money on a huge dehumidifier... Occam's razor baby :) 21/07: Had to move the light, fan, carbon filter and literally everything. Some minor shit for the cover broke on top of the CaCl -RH% and the bicarb got knocked over. Wiped, sprayed down and cleaned out the fan filter as well. What a fucking start to the day... 31/07: GG XL is in Week 7 now, so getting well into flower, growing at an exponential rate and starting to give off a very subtle smell, Grapefruit smells quite noticeable now too. 03/08: GG XL ending week 7, getting massive. ~77-78CM now. Had to defoliate the Grapefruit since leaf miners were still assaulting her, hopefully this helps get more light and airflow into the bud sites, been having humidity issues but can't do much.

not sure where the dry weight thing went but i dont fill in wet weight. who even weighs there whole plant? dry yield is 269gram of pure bud. Grown in a 22liter pot with biobizz lightmix soil and greenhousefeeding bio line this smells so hard that my neigbor called the cops. she even smelled it in her apartment so its game over for me because off this plant. never came across such a weed smelling strain in the 8 years that im growing. hope to be back in 6 months or so.

Repotted into 3 gallon this week.

Grown out this week and got them ready for the early flower growth. Trimmed heavy and wired all branches away from each other. LST in full effect. Hoping it’s not too much trauma for them.. they proved me wrong. Bounced back with vigor and bright excitement! Eager to see these buds start forming 👀

This week has been easy just like any other, how ever i did get one broken branch i did try to fix it but i don't think it will make it

Week 10 Flower After 4 whole weeks of flush this girl has finally met the scissors ✂️ It took her quite some time to fade out, but after cutting down the most faded half of the plant that was closest to the light on Day 65, and then the rest on Day 70 it was long enough. I'm very impressed with how fat and chunky this girl has become. I wasn't expecting quite this size from first look at her thinner stems and branchy structure earlier in flower, but her buds have swelled up nonetheless and she's stacked well. I always cut my girls down around half an hour (or a bit more) before the lights are due to turn on. This prevents her from starting any chlorophyll production in order to maintain the best flavour and burn. Only a few fans were taken off before being left to hang dry as she's absolutely covered in trichomes! Don't throw away your sugar trim (leaves with trichomes) as this can later be used for dry sift, which can then be pressed for some dank rosin. Harvest update coming soon! Hi, thank your for visiting my diary, more info on my setup, soil and situation in: Germination... So been doin the whole Sherlock thing with the magnifier and nope.... no trichomes amber yet.... My magnifier is just not strong enough and apparently my eyesight is bollocks or my arms are too short... On the images ( I also have onset parkinsons as it seems, thus I used a tripod and low and behold: a stillshot) the trichomes are visible. Now I have the problem that I have to go for a week in a week. Im not leaving all on (mainly no control over smell and some distrust in my own handywork compiling these lights) when Im gone. So these ladies have to hurry up now. The other problem is the cure... I have no way to monitor temps and RH when Im away so Im gonna have to find a sitter for my babies or just cut them preprime or they magically make amber overnight.... I hoped, since they were racing to the finish, that I would be in time.... So maybe we pack an extra tent for our vacation... My growtent... I have been flushing for two weeks, still the leaves and plants are vigorous and lively. Some yellowing pointy bits but too minimal.... Temsp outdoor have been higher but stable, temps in the tent never over 26.8 degrees. Humidity has been dropping last days which I hoped for. Anyone any experience with building a climate chamber for curing? Or any on the market that will do? Please check my Zambeza 3 seed give away by guessing my final result! As an update: I took some tiny larf of a couple of days ago and totally forgot about it. Today out of weed, I found the dried remains in the jar I put it in and left it. No temp, no cue, no rh anything. So I get it out of the jar to find it smelling like weed, not even hay or grass but pungeant stinky weed. I start to crumble and find it is sticky, solid, and crumbles to nice bits that crumble even further. I light up and an amazing sweet and citrussy smell comes free, it is superstrong, although still more high obviously, and supertasty, without any cure. This promises even more for the rest of the bunch. This was some underside sad yellowish larf,not any density to it but smoked ten times better than my local, round the corner dispensary weed that I smoked later that day. Even Sunshine (my partner) was amazed with difference in smell. Update 24th july: I finally saw ambers yesterday and the fact me running out of time, made me decide to start the 48 hours of darkness. Tomorrow she/they will be cut down for drying and curing. I have a humidifier and can manage temps to be a bit colder to prolong first dry as long as possible. Coming friday I have to decide what to do: keep them hanging for a full week, whilst Im gone. Or start the jarcure if drying (since its very hot and dry here lately, this might be the case) is faster. I would have loved to give these ladies another week maybe two... They were still so healthy. But I cant control anything when Im not here and this could potentially destroy my harvest or get very smelly, this leaves me no choice for now... The trichs are now at +/- 15% to 20% rest is all milky with just some single clears on less developped lower buds... I allread know she is nice tasting and potent enough. As soon as we are at the final weight I will post the harvest and we choose the winner! Another update: closer inspection revealed that the plants a/ had still lot of underside larf and b/ lots of clear trichomes. As we are near the finish I rather give them another week of light. So Ive bent all the big buds downwards to protect them from the light. I might not be able to correct the cure, but its a shame not give them another week if I can. Some will be horrified with the damage but my reasoning is simple, the big buds are done or almost, the larf still can develop into bigger buds so a late harvest supercrop and lowered the lights to 35 cm for the final push. In the harvest video we will show you the way we made the comfrey tea and where I keep it, our permagarden, introduce myself and maybe even Sunshine, the light of my life, introduces herself. 3/11 Week 11 a day early due to visitors day 28 of Flower Her buds building and coning as any proud female would like. No signs of any deficiencies and the tips are ok so leaving all nuets as is. Halfway to projected harvest date according to Fast Buds, we believe them. Having some humidity issues due to our funky weather. Humidity running higher than is safe on lights out , 60-70%, so installed one small dehumidifier but getting a larger one today to add to it. That is pretty much it, hope for better pics later! She takes about 4.5 litres every other day and is doing well very frosty which is nice to see , I am hoping she might be done soon hopefully not going into February too much as Im ready to flip my purple queen into flower. Up to date I think this is the frostiest strain I've grown
