14-10-2021: Actually I have to start a next week by tomorrow but I have changed so much today I decided to start a new week today. It is still not easy to maintain a VPD of 0.7..... Well it is only an indication in my case because unfortunately I still do not measure the leaf temperature. Temperature was a bit on the high side last night because the temperature sensor of the PK125 has now ended up under the foliage. Of course it is a lot cooler there so it kept running at 10% I have adjusted that, so tomorrow I expect a completely different temperature trend. Also completely emptied the system today and replaced the Hy-Pro with Ata Awa MAX. I have exchanged the Calmag with the Green Sensation, so this will also be dosed (1 ml/L) from now on. I will add Calmag from now on with a pipette. Let's see how the PH is going, as the packaging of the ATA states that it is self-regulating. If that is the case I will put CALMAG in the reservoir of the PH- and reprogram the system. I have chosen not to scrog today. I drilled a hole in the middle and the container to the right of it and killed quite a few roots (unfortunately the drill went through) and that seems, in combination with other nutrition, a suddenly somewhat lower temperature and the torture between the leaves to to get the sensor in place is enough stress for 1 day to me. So they can now go to sleep and tonight we'll see if there is damage. I'm guessing it's not that bad because previous experiences have told me that they can take quite a bit. 17-10-2021: Flowers are starting to form. 18-10-2021: 2 hours of bondage ;) 139 tie-wraps. Damn.. this is a lot of work on a daily basis 20-10-2021: Finally some white hairs on them.. Damn... never took this long. Will it be because of the high temperature?

A-Day 53 (into week 8) B&C-Day 49 (end of week 7) A - She is stacking well, and feeling greasy! The smell is coming on stronger everyday, frost is just starting to build up. There is a distinct transition as the leaves go through veg to early flower to late flower. Uniform all around, not very tall, but she is hardy and thiccc! B- Full flower now, so many tops! She has shown to be a slower flower developer than A, but the flowers she are developing are almost completely uniform all across the đŸŒ±! I assume because there are so many they will be a little slower. I put her ties back on, and the middle shoots exploded with new stretch and growth, so she is still in that stretch/flower stage. C- what can I say, patience is a virtue. She is looking lush and vigorous. With this being a slightly longer to finish auto strain, she has had time to recover from a) being a runt, B) having slow growth, c) having almost no training and lighter nutrient feeds her whole existence. This is also my control for Topping, she was not, A and B were. This strain is clearly hardy and able to withstand multiple techniques, we’ll see what the end the result is compared to her sisters. All three plants received a full nutrient feed x2 this week. That was: 3 gallons dechlorinated water mixed with 12 ml Micro, 12 ml Bud, 20 ml Grow, and 6 ml Sensi Extra CalMag, PH’d to 6.2. And another very low feeding of 1/3 that mixture mixed into 3 gallons of water. Ive heard many growers who instead of just watering, they will do a much lower strength of nutrients included in their watering, and ultimately never not feed their plants nutrients until flush. Thoughts?

Hi liebe Community!

Day 18 Transplanted today the plants into their 11L pots.😊 While instead i will let the Lemon Tree grow for another 4/5 days in the same pot because she only got 13 days, so I prefer to have it strengthened a little before the transplant. Day 24 Mimosa, Meringue, and Kmintz were Topped, Defoliated and also applied a light LST to the main stems of the plants. I will do the same for the Lemon Tree in the next 2/3 days.. I hope they have a quick recovery đŸ€žđŸ» Day 27 LST also performed on the side branches of all plants except the Kmintz which is too small to bend its branches. Also Today we got 21 days for the Lemon Tree which has a great shape! Carried out topping, LST and a little defoliation.. đŸ™ŒđŸ» In the next few days I will let them grow them without further stress. Have a great weekend gromies!! â˜źïžđŸ’š

Week 6 Report: White OG – Shaping Her Future 🌟 We’re at Week 6 of veg, and the White OG is thriving like a superstar! This week, I decided to take her structure to the next level by topping a few branches, and let me tell you—she’s loving it. 🌿 The growth is vigorous, and she’s shaping up beautifully to maximize her potential for flowering. Let’s dive into what went down this week and why it’s all so important for her journey. Branch Topping: Building a Strong Framework After recovering beautifully from her initial topping at node 7, it was time to refine her structure further by topping a few branches. For each branch, I left two nodes to ensure strong, healthy growth while encouraging a bushier canopy. Why Top Branches? Topping isn’t just for the main stem—it’s an essential technique for creating an even canopy and increasing yield potential: 1. Encourages Lateral Growth: By removing the top of a branch, the plant redirects its energy into the remaining nodes, encouraging side shoots to grow and fill out. 2. Maximizes Light Penetration: A bushier plant with more branches ensures that all parts of the plant get access to light, reducing shading and improving photosynthesis. 3. Improves Structure: A strong, evenly distributed framework sets the stage for a healthier plant that can support larger buds during flowering. The decision to leave two nodes per topped branch ensures a balance between promoting growth and avoiding unnecessary stress. Tent Conditions: Consistency is Key The room conditions this week have remained steady and perfect for her vegetative stage: ‱ Temperature: Around 18°C—cool but manageable, keeping her growth steady. ‱ Humidity: At 60%, maintaining just the right level to support her root zone and foliage. ‱ Lighting: The Future of Grow (FOG) LED at 200 PPFD continues to provide optimal light for compact, strong growth. i will dim it up soon! These consistent conditions give her the environment she needs to recover quickly from topping and focus on building her structure. Nutrient Routine: Trusting the Pellets This week, I’ve continued with the Aptus Holland All-in-One Pellets as the primary nutrient source. They’re working their magic, providing a steady release of nutrients to support her vigorous growth. As a backup plan, I’m always ready to reintroduce All-in-One Liquid if she starts showing signs of needing more immediate nutrition. For now, she’s thriving, and the pellets are doing an excellent job of meeting her needs. Training and Future Plans Topping a few branches this week was just the beginning. I’m planning to continue topping over the next few weeks to shape her into a bushy, evenly distributed plant. By focusing on creating a strong structure now, she’ll be perfectly prepared for explosive growth when we flip her into flowering. Looking Ahead: Growth on Overdrive 🚀 As Week 7 approaches, I’ll be monitoring how she responds to the additional topping and ensuring her environment stays consistent. The goal is to encourage her lateral growth while keeping her stress levels low and her energy focused. 24 Oct 2021 Week 16 began yesterday, but the first watering of the week was today. I’m keeping up with the flush, starting the 2nd week today. Hopefully I’ll be able to harvest in a few days. My Trio is looking really lovely. Their buds are covered in trichomes that glisten under the lights. They are starting to darken in color in some areas like their mother did. They may take on some pinkish/purple hues before it’s all done. Some of their leaves are turning purple as well. The sugar leaves are somewhat dark, but still green. All three of them are very nice to look at, and their smell is super strong! It’s really nice in my grow room! Yesterday I went out and got some more of those support sticks from the local home store and provided support for all of the branches that needed it. Which was a lot! I got 7 new support sticks and used them all. All of the branches are now supported and flourishing! Today each of my girls received a gallon of properly pH’ed water, and each had a sufficient amount of runoff from which to gather measurements. The process went as follows: C1 & C2 had an initial pH of 6.9, and C3’s initial pH was 6.8. I added .2ml of pH DOWN to each gallon which adjusted the pH to 6.4 for C1, and 6.3 for C2 and C3. TDS going in was 88 ppm for C1, 86 ppm for C2, and 84 ppm for C3. Runoff measurements were a little weird. The runoff pH for C1 was 5.9. The TDS was (at first) 600 ppm. I thought that was an incredible drop from the other day, so I did it again. It was 603 ppm the second time. Ok, moving along nicely! The runoff for C2 was pH - 5.8, and TDS was 1101 ppm. 😳 That’s a lot more than C1. C3 had a pH of 5.6, and TDS of 1212 ppm. Which is even more; so I measured a little more from C1 again, and the 3rd time it measured 736 ppm. đŸ€” That seems weird to me, but I’ll keep an eye on it. If it continues to be that low then I will end up harvesting it before the others which won’t be so terrible. I’ll just have to wait and see. The temperature in the tent was 81F, and humidity was 47%. My ladies are looking lovely and growing better than I could have hoped for. This grow has been awesome, but I can’t wait to be done. Happy growing everyone! 27 Oct 2021 Feeding/flushing time again! I was somewhat perplexed the other day when I got the runoff reading for the TDS in C1. It was 500-600 ppm less than C2 & C3 respectively. Since I was having some issues with the TDS meter I thought that IT may be the cause. I made a note to check on it today, and there seems to be no problem with the TDS meter at all. Keep reading for details. My plants are still looking as lovely as I could ever have hoped for! C1 has started showing more color changes than the other 2, and the only thing I can say the difference is, is that I defoliated some of C1’s larger fan leaves last week, and wasn’t able to do the same for the other 2. That is the ONLY thing I can think of that has been different between all 3 plants this entire grow. Regardless, all 3 plants are looking wonderful! Today each of my lovely ladies received a gallon of property pH’ed water with an expected amount of runoff for testing. The preparation went as follows: C1 & C2 had an initial pH of 6.9, and C3 was at 7.0. I added 0.2ml’s of pH DOWN to each gallon which adjusted the pH of all 3 gallons to 6.3. TDS going in for C1 & C2 was 85 ppm, and C3 was 84 ppm. Runoff levels were different for all three plants. C2’s runoff pH was 5.7, and TDS was 1041 ppm. C3’s pH was 5.6, and TDS was 1059 ppm. Last time C1 was significantly lower than the others, and I thought that maybe it was a TDS meter issue. Evidently it wasn’t. C1’s TDS today was 526 ppm! 😳 still much lower than the others, and pretty much ready for harvest. The temperature in the tent was 81F, and humidity was 43%. Although harvest time is much closer, I don’t believe it will be done in time for this month’s grow diary of the month contest. So sad, but that’s life. Happy growing everyone! See you again soon. 29 Oct 2021 Today is the last day of week 16. I was planning on continuing the flush today, but remembered something that I had forgotten about
. I remembered the branch that had broken off of C1 back on October 10th in week 14. She had held on for well over a week in a can of water, but finally her leaves started to droop. I hung it up all by itself in my small tent to dry. Until today that is! I took it outside and trimmed it on my deck. Even outside, in a pleasant breeze, the amazing smell of this branch was easily detected. It’s kind of windy, rainy, and chilly here today, but still
. That sweet blueberry muffin smell was there. Her buds; still covered in the dried, crystallized trichomes were super sticky! I must admit that they are the stickiest buds I have grown to date. I weighed the dry bud to add to the grand total of C1’s harvest later. Then I ground it up and smoked it. All I am going to say is that from my reaction to smoking it; I have decided that no additional flushing is needed. After all, what I smoked today broke right before I started flushing, and I could taste nothing other than what I would hope to taste. So my fellow Growmies; I am ending this week right here. The next report you will see will be the harvest report!! Stay tuned!

Producing buds nicely this week - despite it being more susceptible to light burn than the other pheno. I had a similar plant but in auto form that went from green to yellow over night. It is just the genes. It looks sick but that's how it actually grows, I've learnt to accept the fan leaves don't stay looking green and lush for long from this pheno. It is still producing goods non the less!

11/16/23 - Day 10 - Here we are on day 10 and she had a root hit the water over night. About 8 hrs later she had two roots in the water and her leaves are starting to perk up. From here on out I expect a rocket ship. Shes getting access to all the nutes now. 11/18/23 - Day 12 - The roots are going about as I expected in this Leaf Box. Shes always sad until her roots hit the water, then the fuse has been lit! There is no going back. When I looked at the water today there was one root that was floating about 7 - 8 in long that surprised me. Yesterday it was long maybe 4" but today it's at least doubled. 😀 Its so much fun growing in this Leaf Box. You really get to experience the joy in it, rather than the stress of trying to figure out some technical issue. Here the techical issues are close to none. I really get to focus on the training part. It also allows me to be more observant and I get more time to think about the little changes that I see. Usually my mind is so clouded with some engineering issue with her life support that I dont usually get the time to really focus on the plant. Its a whole different feel growing in the Leaf box. I posted a video up top. If you watch it you'll understand my above statement. Choosing the option to move to the next phase in the software is about as hard as it will ever get (aside from harvest, thats ALWAYS a bitch) Watch the video and if your feeling some kind of way let me know what you think.
