So that's the end of veg...homecoming

Cooled off this week, big storm, lots of wind, little bit of rain, nothing outside of normal. Flowering is in full swing, tons of hairs now, stopped vertical growth, settling in nicely. Did another top dress of 70/30 Gaia Green PB/AP. Keeping the top layer wet off and on to help with nutrient absorption with some water, fish and kelp mix.

El dia sabado 17/8 se aplico 15gr de Bio4 (4-4-4), 15gr de Phenex(6-8-!5) y humus de lombriz por cada maceta y se regó con 2 litros de agua con ph 6.3 por maceta. Las plantas pegaron un estiron asi que se coloco el segundo led de 180W. 22/8 se realizo una defoliacion no muy agresiva retirando solamente las hoja mas grandes.

Week 4 - Sometimes You Got To Lose To Gain Phase 2 - I took off the fan leaves so that the plant would redirect its energy into the stem and branches rather than the leaves. I also cut of the top heads so that the energy would go into the development of the 2 heads below.

This grow went pretty well she was a very branchy plant, responded well to lst providing me with a wealth of super sticky buds. I had a slight deficiency problem but that was on me. I didn't do a wet weight when I cut her down. All the buds are super sticky and have a nice citrusy lemon smell that you would hope for from any lemon strain. I will definitely be growing this strain again. I will update final weight and smoke report later after the dry and cure. Made some rosin with trim and popcorn buds at bottom of bowl trimmer. Put in about 14 got like 2 a lil more than 2 gs back.

Switched to bloom nutes. The lowered screen has already filled up to the second level and filled in very nicely. About ready for autopilot.

Week 7, starting to kick on now. Responding well to training and now the explosive growth is beginning. Stay tuned

Focusing on filling out Scrog this week. Did a good deal of defoliation yesterday to try and eliminate overlapping foliage as well as get light to lower sites. Discovered I haven't been shaking nutes up enough before using so actual nutes amounts before this week are 🤷. Giving the girls a day or two to recover but will likely defoliate a little more at next feeding.

Instead, I wait for the plants to show true signs of bloom. It’s a small but significant distinction that keeps things accurate and aligned with the plants’ development. 🌱 Defoliation: Timing is Everything! Defoliation is a critical part of the flowering stage, and I typically wait until Day 21. However, this week, I tackled it earlier on Day 17 because: 1️⃣ The room was simply too full. 2️⃣ And most importantly—the Papaya Zoap had other plans! She’s a fighter—determined, defiant, and constantly reaching for the moon. Despite intense training like super cropping, she’s still pushing upward, nearly outpacing the LED lights. Challenges like this remind us of a simple truth: gardening mirrors life. It’s about resilience, adaptation, and unwavering determination. 💪 This week, I added a second SCROG layer. While this net will support the flowering colas, it’s also there to strategically manage the Papaya Zoap. Why? Because experience has taught me that if she grows out of the LED’s range, she won’t finish properly—and that could disrupt the balance for every other plant in the tent. It’s all about teamwork, even in the garden. 🌟 Defoliation was intense, removing nearly all the leaves with stems to clear space and boost airflow. The tent now looks dramatically different! July 31: Another week of warm sunny weather coupled with thunderstorms bringing a decent amount of rain. Flowers are stacking and resin coming on thick developing complex odor. Harvest coming in a couple of weeks.

Going into flowering is always a special moment and we prepare to do it in the best way to make the plant understand that it is time to become a woman and speed up the start of the formation of buds. We start with 24 hours of darkness this to give a strong break and sign of change to the plant that understands the change of time and prepares to go into flowering. Our Jet Fuel was worked with a topping x16 buds that worked really well, we have some branches growing a little sparsely, not perfectly aligned but I bet it will be very beautiful everything seems in great shape now. Another thing that gives the plant the signal of the start of flowering are the flowering stimulators we friends of Plagron use Power Buds. The start of the flowering program includes the same additives as the vegetative phase Power Roots, Sugar Royal, Pure Zym and adds the flowering stimulant Power Buds. Now the basic fertilizer is Alga Bloom specific for flowering. The shape is very very beautiful as the structure of this plant, I definitely love plants with short internodal distance.
