Well, it’s underway... I can’t wait to see everyone’s diaries coming along at the same time, especially now I’ve found some others in the competition with the same strain. So to start off, I popped the seeds into lukewarm water until they all stuck out a taproot. This process approximately took 24 hours. After that, I placed the seeds straight into a 6.0ph damp mixture of coco coir with perlite, mixed with a low dose of monster bud mix, supplied by Zamnesia. Then I placed the pots under the LED light for one night and 4/5 girls have put their heads up. I’m going to give all 5 seeds about 2-3 weeks in small pots to reveal which plant has the strongest genetics, followed by the best being potted into the competition pot provided by Zamnesia. Not a whole lot going on this week. Did some light trimming and removed the wires. Main stem on all 4 are nice and flat, going to let the girls veg out for a few weeks and just grow up wards. Moved the lights up 16 inches to let them stretch out. I also switched light cycles.. read an article that mentioned a lot of benefits to having 8 hours on and 4 hours off. Specifically I've noticed a lot of benefits ik terms of cooling and environmental control. I havent had to push water bottles into my buckets ar all this week. And it seems to be growing at a normal rate.

It's a quite jungle, but I like it wild. New tent is postponed to next week, I really need it though, those plants would appreciate getting their artificial sun dose, instead tryingto push through the roof. Tried another way to take photos, but until we get more room, they're gonna be whatever.. Light schedule is still 13 hours, I should probably change it to 12 soon, though target is still one month and then reduction to 12 h. Nothing got topped this time, maybe I should've, but the new tent will bring some workaround room. I'm still trying to understand the plant behavior and their limits.

Second run with these genetics, I ran her last time in a 5.4 gallon container, I got the grape pheno, higher yield with the first run, but much tighter nugs with this run. This one smells much more earthy/gassey and less grapey. I ended up with just under 26 zips of nugs, 2 zips of Larf which I will turn into canna sugar, and my buddy made a 35 gram brick of bubble from the trim. It should be dry in the next few days and I'll post a video of the squeeze, hoping to get around a zip of rosin which I will split with him since he turned the bubble...Super excited to squeeze some nugs once the cure is done, Ill post vids of them as wel. Next run I'm planning to try and cram 2 plants inside a 5X5, build mainlines, and flip by week 6 or 7....Switching to two 315 W CMH bulbs up top, and LED's on 2 of the sidewalls for supplemental lighting. Flush week

We have reached the first harvest, I do not mark it as harvested because the other one is still going and will be harvested in 7 - 10 days. Here we are with our Blue Cheese F1 Hybrid by Zamnesia, it was the first to be harvested in just 59 days, born in fact on September 1st, all of it was harvested on October 30th, not bad at all. The flowers are really beautiful, excellent resin, skunky scent as we like it a little gray, as soon as we smell skunk we fly into the past, far from indie and commercial music and with generic nostalgic references. Here with a smell of skunk we teleport to the coffee shops of Amsterdam in the late 90s. It often happens to me when I smell the flavors and smells of the first super herbs I smoked. With Skunk and derivatives more than anything. And then with Cheese which is precisely a derivative and with Bubblegum I go straight back to that coffee shop. The amount of grass is average, the plant is not very tall, about 90 cm and has been cleaned underneath, the largest is 100 cm, it will give us a lot of grass, the phenotypes are slightly different despite being f1 but at least two phenotypes seem obvious to me, we must grant them, mom and dad. I did a big flush but the plant arrived a bit green anyway, I had exaggerated in pumping a bit and I anticipated the harvest by about a week when I saw my jars almost empty. Let's be clear, we are still at an excellent amount of mature pistils, about 75%, and as for trichomes we are a bit amber, mostly cloudy and also some transparent still. But whatever, we are ready anyway. Had a slight salt build up flushed the girls w drip clean and adjusted the nutes to 700ppm. Run off was around 1800ppm got it down to 850. So far phenos 3 and 4 seem to be the chunkiest though 1 and 2 are stacking pretty nice. Definitely getting a slightly garlicky gassy smell hoping one leans for towards gmo n less fruity/jelly.

Pretty busy week this week. repotted in to 5 gallon pots, defoliation just before switching to 12/12. Added a Scrog to the canopy. Also added a better fresh air in take to try and drop the humidity. Although it didn’t make much difference so ordered a better dehumidifier with a humidistat.

What an absolute stonker. I cant believe how big she has got in just 2 weeks. So many colas and buds. The smell is so good and gettinng some nice colour. Still a long way to go, she is going to be a good one.
