Getting close! Few weeks out but really starting to fatten up and pack on some weight. Trichromes still really clear. The smell is amazing and the colors are beautiful. Really excited to see what last few weeks bring! 🍻

My Rainbow Melon plant is an absolute beast! It's definitely tied for the biggest plant in the tent, and it's by far the smelliest. The aroma is so strong and sweet, it's incredible. I can't wait to see how this one turns out! Okay, This past week has been absolutely fantastic! The weather has been incredible, and I've been able to keep the windows open almost the entire time. My plants are thriving in the humidity, and the VPD has been perfect. Everything just feels so balanced and in check.

*=UPDATED=* Not to much to add this week, I plucked a lot of the lower leaves off to prevent them from getting to close to the growing medium and having some disease issues, plus increases some air flow. Also plucked a few of the top fan leaves that where blocking the lower buds from the light. Don't think this is proper defoliation so I did not check it off as a grow technique. The plants are really starting to smell more and get a lot of trichomes on them. When I'm in the case and smell each plant, they all have different terpene profiles. one is very lemon and pine with a hint of sweetness, one is quite sweet and berry like with lemon notes "my fav", another is just more so woodsy pine smell and the last one is mildly sweet smelling with something else I could not pinpoint. one setback is the case fan I was using died out, i think the heat inside the tent and operating for so long got to it, it was an older fan to start off with so not overly surprising. It started to have a hot electric smell to it, like wires or rubber getting to hot. I manage the case heat by propping its door open on a angle. still keeps temps at 25c (77f) Other then that I don't think they grew to big vs last week, one plant is starting to get some more purple in it, I like purple colour on buds. maybe the leaf plucking set it back a bit, can't imagine the plant would enjoy that happening to it. Trying to post little fly over videos every week of the case to give better idea of plants and what they are looking like. will try and get a macro lens closer to trichomes and see what they are doing in terms of clear cloudy and amber for next week, may give me a hint as if ill harvest week after that. *=UPDATE=* I didn't want to wait till next week to post trichomes so took some photos with a clip-on Macro lens for my phone, not the best but looks pretty cool. mostly all cloudy from what I can tell. one plant has a bit of amber on its sugar leaves but not its bud.

Hello Diary, Cherry Pie has completed the fourth week of flowering, the 7th week since the beginning of the vegetation. Now I can already say that we are approaching the grand finale. The plant looks really great, the large flowers have covered the branches and are starting to bend under the weight. The main cola is completely covered with flowers and looks impressive. The smell of Cherry Pie is now very intense, when I open the grow box the smell takes over the whole room even though the ventilation is still working. The leaves are still a healthy green color, it is obvious that the new nutrients Bio Grow and Bio Bloom Fertilizer are doing their job. The conditions on the Farm are good, the temperature is around 28 degrees while the humidity is below 50%. Watering is still almost every other day, they still need a lot of water. I continued to add CalMg and Bio Bloom Fertilizer with each watering. I am super pleased and happy to see how Cherry Pie looks, she really reciprocated my efforts to provide them with the best conditions I can. Here is a short review of the past week. 06/09/2024 - Day 44. Watering. I prepared 9 liters of water, added CalMg and Bio Bloom Fertiliser and lowered the pH to 6.0. With that amount of water I watered all three plants on the "Farm". 08/09/2024 - Day 46. Watering. I repeated the same procedure as two days earlier. 10/09/2024 - Day 48. Watering. Same procedure. 11/09/2024 - Day 49. End of the 7th week from the beginning of the vegetation, or the fourth week of flowering. Photographing and measuring the height of the plants. Did a good defol this week and immediately she starts to pray, very cool. Buds are swelling up every day and there is a nice fresh smell in the tent. I will bring it to the end, i think 4 more weeks to go..

Weekly update on this beast. It's still chugging along and getting prettier and prettier every day. I'd say she probably has about a week maybe two left. The flowers are covered in trichs and are sticky sticky. Smell like a sour candy.
