Thanks to Seedsman for the idea of a 420 grow-off and the chance to try some of the latest and greatest. Anyway, started some Blueberry Pie F1 Fast seeds from Seedsman today. Very promising sounding genetics, and I’m very keen to see how she goes. Hopefully we won’t get as much wildfire smoke as we did last year. The plan for this plant is a 16 cola manifold with force flowering (12 h darkness) starting in late July for a couple of weeks. Starting in a glass of water on a heat mat at 25 C. Kept in dark using foil. I’ve decided to avoid plastic for the seed starting. Also, based on a science paper I saw this winter, I’m leaving a ripe apple in the dark with the seeds. Apparently the ethylene gas helps, but only in the dark before light is applied. Tried it with tomato and pepper plants and seems to work. First time trying with my cannabis seeds. Will add the reference to the paper some day. Apr 22: moved into soil. Starting three seeds but I only have room for one plant. Will adopt out the other two. Apr 25: removed foil cover (and apple) and set the plants beside the light that is going for tomatoes and peppers. The seedlings need minimal light at this stage so taking it easy. Okay, here we are on day 7 officially done with the first week, and so far so good.. Last attempt I use reused soil, which is why this diary is called redemption runtz .. i just gave a very minimal feeding and only went around the edge of the pot so the roots have to go searching.. 09/13/2018 Nutes up to 2/3strength, going up to full at next reservoir change. She is putting on nice growth, had to raise light due to leaf burn, but only one leave affected, I think I will flip to flowering next week. She has 9fingered leaves but in veg she's very Indica like, hopping she has more sativa like flower stretch.🙏 Topped and lite defoliation.

Day 21 - Past week or so was rough (drooping leaves), which recovered during the night period. I figured it was either light or heat. Turns out the lights were way to bright (brown tips, bleaching leaves, drooping leaves). Turned off the 300 watt LED. Turned the Two 75 watt LEDS TO 40% plant is now stretching out nicely. Will turn light up slowly once stretch looks good. Happy New Year! Day 22 - Stretch looks good turned lights up 5% and leaves stopped stretching so back to 40%. Day 23 - Everything is resolved. Lights were way to bright. Caused the plant to stay short and brown tips. Reduced lights by 60% and now it’s beginning to stretch a little during the day and a lot at night. Added nutes back in and reduced the water to 2 cups per day. Day 25 - added 5% on lights. Stretching nicely. Manage vertical growth with filling out using the lights. Day 26 - looking good increased water to 12oz per day. Day 27 - lights up 5% back down 5%. I leave it alone now. Couple gnats flying around. Not sure if it is a problem?

Was such a pleasant harvest from start to finish, no issues at all. A tip for next time would be to have the SCRoG lower as I couldn’t really tuck any node sights this time round, smells absofuckinglutely amazing from 3RD week bloom onwards!

Hi this week full strees for lady's I just top them from 4th node and done first lst for lower branches to get light this week I feed 1ml silica 1ml root powers 3ml grow 1ml heaven Every 3days or 2 I give her 1L mixed nuts Day 19 1plant is preflowering and from last node start fade purple this one definitely dark purple same last time 😍

I'm really digging the Chem OG, squat plants with those trademark thick thick thick indica leaves, clearly it's gonna be a heavy smoke lol Wasnt able to get the juices flowing this week, hopefully next week i'll get the smart protein into feed. Started training some of these, did two more defoliations (total of three light defos so far) ... and then flipped them 4 days ago. the f-ing landlord has been attempting to enter the lab according to my security cameras lol, motherfucker !!!! anyway i have to pack up the lab, hopefully i'll be able to complete the grow cycle , but for sure i'll have to move the grow op ... that's my problem, sure but it also means that i'll have to wait in order to set up my perpetual cycle... and of course i cant really take cuttings if i'm moving the lab... why must people be so curious? really wish there would be at least a bit more tolerance around this hobby just so i can sleep peacefully at night... in the mean time , I lowered my lights to 22cm, i heard from someone (forgot who) that it's a good thing to get the lights closer when you flip so that the plant gets that extra energy for the stretch. Plants are maturing this week but are yet to put on more weight.. .However they are good size already! One bud on my Banana Krumble is mutated and I am not sure what it is?

Going into flowering is always a special moment and we prepare to do it at our best to make the plant understand that it is time to become a woman and speed up the start of the formation of buds. We start with 24 hours of darkness this to give a strong break and sign of change to the plant that understands the change of time and prepares to go into flowering. Our Black Runtz was worked with a topping x16 buds but unfortunately I got stupid one day and after having vaporized something strong while doing a defoliation, I also cut a branch, our x16 buds became like this x14, story of a bullshit done. I hate doing bullshit and I expose them to public shame to remind myself not to do it again any normal human being would have hidden the fact. But we are not here to comb the dolls so we always tell the truth. It happens and the plant will be super beautiful anyway. Another thing that gives the plant the signal to start flowering are flowering stimulators, we friends at Plagron use Power Buds. The summer is here. Black cream showing some colors but not what i imagine. But with out a dought some of the best buds i Have seen. Shes know senescence. Just let the lower buds get some power in 2 more weeks shes done. Im liking a lot the way CoshKush is going Very promissing branchs and a inner purple color to the picilis. Lets se as she fatns. Weeding Cake its looking like shes reduced grow speed. Like the tick piscilis now starting to go orange Bomberry looked so promessing in vege and now not so much. Late as allways.... Day 35 and things are moving along fantastic and all the girls are very happy.I typically wouldn’t run so many different strains in one tent but Fast Buds genetics are very versatile.I can already tell these girls will have strong,amazing buds in the upcoming weeks into Christmas 🎄😊

Week 8 begins, the final feed! Mandarin dreams 1&2 are both looking good, MD2 I find is the bigger of the two and smells like a chemical cleaner with a lime zest. MD1 is the only one of these two plants with any purple in her leafs. Thanks for stopping by, tune in next week for the flush 👽🌳🔥

Last Obi-Wan girl was left in dark for 3 days and then chopped on day 66 and is now drying. She was definitely the largest of all 4 plants in the tent. Cant wait to see the dry weight on this girl! Next update will be when all the bud is dry and we have a final weight for all 3 together. The first one we chopped only gave us just over 4oz dried but she was half the size as the other 3 girls and kinda lower in the corner. Pulled 7.4oz off the Wedding Cake in the same tent/setup and these last 2 Obi-Wan’s that are still drying are bigger then she was by a lot I think. Cheers 💨
