Week 6 Veg Report – Runtz We Meet Again! Another week, another step forward in our Eternity Grow Cup 2025 journey, and oh boy, do we have a lot to unpack! These Runtz girls are showing their potential, and we’re dialing in every little detail to ensure they thrive. Let’s dive deep into everything that happened this week! Cal-Mag Deficiency Adjustment – Pheno #5’s Special Needs This week started with a close inspection of our phenos, and we noticed that Pheno #5 was showing early signs of a calcium/magnesium deficiency. Whether it was slightly off VPD levels or this particular plant being more demanding, we decided to correct it by increasing the dose of RO Water Conditioner. Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients. Calcium strengthens cell walls, preventing issues like tip burn and weak stems, while magnesium plays a critical role in chlorophyll production, allowing plants to efficiently absorb light energy. 💡 Signs of Deficiency: • Yellowing between veins (Magnesium) • Rust spots on leaves (Calcium) • Slow growth and weak stems ⚡ How We Address It: • Slightly increasing RO Water Conditioner to see if trace minerals help • Keeping an eye on overall nutrient uptake to ensure no lockout • Monitoring VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) closely to optimize nutrient absorption Let’s see how she reacts next week! Branching Development – Pheno #2 Leading the Race All five phenos are thriving, but Pheno #2 is showing the most aggressive branching, pushing outward faster than her sisters. However, overall, we’re seeing very uniform growth, which speaks volumes about the stability of these genetics. 🌱 What is Branching & Why It Matters? Branching is the plant’s way of expanding its canopy, increasing surface area for photosynthesis, and maximizing potential bud sites. Well-structured branches allow better airflow, light penetration, and more even growth—key for a successful high-yield harvest. ⚖️ Topping vs. Leaf Bending – The Training Choice Instead of topping, I’ve decided to go with leaf bending for now. This method allows for gentle manipulation of the plant’s growth without causing major stress. Once we introduce the SCROG (Screen of Green) net, this training will help maximize the canopy spread. Moving to the TrolMaster Ecosystem – A Game Changer Big move this week—our Runtz girls officially transitioned into the TrolMaster Ecosystem, and let me tell you, they are absolutely loving it! Last week, instead of 2 g of GHSC Powder Feeding, I only gave 1.5 g p l of substrate so that I can give you another 1 g per l of substrate next week so that it lasts until the end :-). It is developing very well and the buds are starting to grow :-). The week was poured 3 times with 1.1 l each time. once of them GHSC Enhancer was added :-). The bottom shoots have now also been removed :-). As always, the humidifier was refilled every day and the lady was checked for her health. I hope you enjoy the update. Going into this week on the 12/12 light schedule. It grew to about 10.5 inches from the light. The light is now up to 50% brightness. A full dose of bud candy was added, instead of the half added last week.

Week 7, starting to kick on now. Responding well to training and now the explosive growth is beginning. Stay tuned

Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. So as I said before this plant grew deformed and irregular from the start and was the only seed to germinate out of all 3. I wasn't sure if she was going to make it! But she pushed through and produced a beautiful, sticky, smelly plant that started to smell early on as sweet mango that developed into musky, earthy tropical fruits... Incredible smell! Will update dry report in a week or two! 20.12 So all is dry now and placed in jar to cure. 38g of dried bud in the end, not massive yield but didn't expect too much. The smoke is gorgeous even before curing it is mouth watering and delicious, makes me super energetic for like 30/50 minutes and then boom I'm locked down, happy but motionless.

The harvest was simple and an absolute pleasure. I did a wet trim and thought later maybe i should have did a dry trim? Please share your opinions.

Today is day 22 of flower. Currently I am on the 5th day of a flush with just water at ph of 5.9. Two more days we will go back to regular nutes. She is stacking up nice at this point couldn’t be happier with how well the plant thrived. It’s like there was never any issues. Currently wishing I cleaned up the bottom of the plant more. This plant has been such and easy grow thanks to the genetics I’m sure. Looks like she will yield nicely. It’s been a little cold at night here lately but she is taking it well

Blue cheese smelling lovely not much smell off the Sweet ZZ yet

Started out great as a seedling. On week 3 things I used cheap clips that jacked things up and after a certain amount of time passed I decided to transplant it to Fox Farms Strawberry fields soil where it quickly went into flower shortly after. I chopped 77 days after planting the seed. It produced 47 grams dry of amazing flower. The smell is incredibly pungent -sweet and citrus scent. The high is great as well. After drying for 8 days they were then thrown into a grove bag for an infinite cure until consumed.

The strain was easy to grow. The autos were topped and suppercropped. Along with lst. Amazing yeild for my first grow. Almost a pound with 300w led. Trichomes were hard to read and took forever to turn. Went for 17 weeks from sprout. Didnt flush as long as a wanted so curing is my focus rn.
