Defoliated and fully leaf stripped. I am going all out to see what happens. Wedding gelato is a fairly tall plant for my tent and future grows will have to be properly trained and tied down. Live and learn. So far happy with the results from hydro grow. Roots have worked their way into the res so I have added an air bubbler to the submerged roots.

Throughout the growth of the plant communicated, from the seed it is a strong and healthy plant. I did LST training, topping and defoliation on it. Finally, it also has a quality harvest. Is perfect 😉

Room setup rundown, examples of bud, et al in pictures... Seedlings/Clones lights - Viparspectra XS1500. Vege lights - Mars Hydro FC-4800 Flower Lights - 650w 3400K 1900umol/s PAR, (3) 226w DIY 2900K 630umol/s PAR (678w and 1890umol/s), Substrate - 50/50 sphagnum peat moss and vermiculite in 5-gallon pots Climate Control - Luckily, the lights, winter and normal furnace use all equate to a decent temperature, though a bit on colder side in in vege phase, sadly. Humidifier is needed early and later a dehumidifier is needed when canopy develops. I only grow in the winter months. Irrigation - do not use the emitters in this diary. They suck a big fat dick to skip a line to suck a bigger dick. They come in different shapes, too. Basic process The little light takes care of seedlings in 2.5" wide seedling pots until first up-pot. The 1-gallon pots fit well under the FC4800 in a 4x4 tent until day 21 after sprout. I plant 150% or more of what i need, so i can kill the weak without concern. The goal is for every plant that makes it to the 5-gallon up-pot being capable of producing a minimum of 160 grams with a maximum of a 35-40 day vegetative phase. Third up-pot is into 5-gallon nursery pots and now under the 3 DIY lights and the 650W light in the big tent for a couple more weeks of vege. An irrigation system in the big tent saves a lot of time. One scrog for training and another for support, just in case. Reverting back to a more systematic approach to canopy composition moving forward. About 2.3 colas per sq ft and 8 primary colas per plant. Yields were similar when over-crowding and being less systematic, but the proportion of less dense nugs is greater and trim time is needlessly elevated because of that fact. I was very controlling about this the first couple years but got away from it for far too long at this point. Drying / Curing - Into mesh racks for 9 days. I wet trim and cut down to similarly sized buds for even drying. Temps are controlled around 68F and RH is set to 60%. Then into some 5-gallon buckets with gamma seal lids and (3) 2-way 67g boveda humidipaks (58% or 62%) in each bucket - 1 at bottom, 2 at top. Temp/RH probe confirms that they hold the RH steady at 60-63%. Cost - 0.33 cents (USD) per gram produced. This includes an accelerated depreciation expense for all equipment used, fertilizer, water, electricity for all equipment used, new filters and other yearly purchases - bti, ph strips, sticky traps, etc. I'm a finance guy, so these numbers are comprehensively accurate and purposely err slightly on high side of cost. The only facet not included is the cost of my labor.

All done with the growing, now time for the long arduous harvest 😸🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️✨. Started the harvest on day 63 of flower, I’ve not just checked their trichomes with a loop or anything, but I’m happy with how they look. The smell is very intense. Slightly worrying in all honesty 👀 filter is really struggling, contemplating getting out my spare extractor fan&filter just while it all drys. Maybe two filters will scrub the smell completely. It’s a lovely smell, Sour Tangy Sherb, but now an extremely heavy gassy wall of smell has permeated everything. Pretty much all the buds have turned purple, just a few of the lowers are a pale green, but that’s to be expected. I’m in the process of cutting them all up into individual branches, giving them a quick wet trim, then hanging them on hangers. I’m aiming for around 10 days drying, then a final trim and into jars for curing. This was the final run of the MotorOG, it’s been a fun strain to run 😸 another decent one from LIT Farms. Acapulco Gold has just reached the maximum height available! 😅 The flowers are coming in beautifully, despite the less than stellar growing conditions. I must say I am very pleased with the seeds from WeedSeedsExpress. First time using their genetics, and they have been impressive, to say the least! Acapulco Gold Auto has really started focusing on the buds, and they are really interesting looking flowers 🤞 9.9.25: I have done a large defoliation. Removing the fan leaves on the lower branches. As well as some on the inside of the plant. Also, I removed some of the leaves that weren't looking so good. The leaves are yellowing out on the older leaves, whilst the new leaves are becoming much darker. I decided to add in a bud building PK boosters this week. I used Bud Explosion and seaweed extract as well as Sea K. I'm really trying to make the most out of this plant and will try to get a personal record in the yeild. I lollipoped last week, and this defoliation will be the last thing that I will do to the plant. I will be top dress next week for the Ecothrive Bloom, Life Cycle, Diatomaceous Earth, and Cinnamon. This will be one of the last, depending on how quickly we progress here. I am having a problem judging the water requirements as the plant itself now weighs a LOT! This isn't good for me because I am not the best of judging without lifting the pots. Obviously, the pot is much heavier now because the plant has gotten so big. I'm trying 2 x 6.5L feedings this week, I should go up to 3 or more next week, probably. I am constantly moving the plant daily to evenly distribute the light to the plant. That's what happened this week. I'm very pleased with this plant in general, and this weeks progress has been very good. I'm more than happy! Here is what I did this week. 4.9.25: I watered with 6.5L of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.1 with; 💜 3 TSP Cal-Mag 💜 1.5 TSP Bud Explosion PH: 6.1 PPM: 1120 9.9.25: I watered with 6.5L of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.2 with; 💜 20ml Seaweed extract 💜 4.5 TSP Sea K(elp) PH: 6.2 PPM: 599 That's all this week, I'm very pleased with this weeks progress. June 13th - Day 22; fed 1L yesterday 16th - fed a full meal; 1L - extended another section of LST. It can now grow as it wants 17th - taking some urgent action because of an ailment that had fallen on Californian Snow, that now seems to be affecting Zamaldelica. After being fed yesterday, Cali Snow had all of her Fan Leaves wilt and dissolve sort of, within 4 hours. She was flushed and it seems a Low pH was the final element to clear from the run-off. This morning Zamaldelica fan leaves are sporting Orange Spots. I’m throwing 6 gallons of pH’d water (6.5) through the substrate right now thanks… ! - looking to put some of the blame on me, for allowing these plastic pots, with limited holes, to be the final resting place for these gems… should have AT LEAST been into Fabric or Smart Pots DoH. When I picked them up yesterday, that container was physically Hot. Not dry, but man the soil portion was warm. - glad I flushed, did not see this one coming. Sure, it was a Heat Warning, weather system, but things did not dry-out. - also moving Zamaldelica into a 5 gal fabric pot. Last soil in the house, kinda worked perfectly. Sorry Californian Snow, maybe too far gone. Something became acidic in the substrate after the volume of that meal, reached the lower levels, and an accumulation of Nutes/additives. It reacted - I knocked off any loose soil from the original Pot/rootball and put 60% of the plants core into a DynoMyco laced 6gal bag. - caption for the video; been one of those days…

06/09: increased light from 50 to 55% 07/09: Gave her a litre of water with biogrow, rootjuice & bio-heaven 08/09: Measured her at 41cm tall today! 09/09: increased light from 60% tot 65% 10/09: Watered 1L with no added nutrients & increased her light to 75%. She has little pistol hairs so I assume its preflowering!!? I am so excited, its beautiful. 12/09: watered with 1L with rootjuice, bioheaven, biogrow, activera and calmag

So this week after I gave it under nutrients I apparently gave it too much nitrogen while having a potassium deficiency. Shiney dark leaves, So i fixed that, but some didn't bounce back, and I tried nitrogen. I think they are doing pretty good considering everything I've put them through SO FAR. lol. Nutrients are NPK Raw's total lineup, follow their instructions at first, Fastbuds adjustments as of this week.

Ciao a tutti, il giorno 65 ho sostituito tutta la soluzione dei vasi. Dopo aver tirato via tutto ho aggiunto 20 litri d'acqua di rubinetto con 2ml/l di flora kleen (GHE). Non ho aggiustato il pH (che nella mia zona è superiore al 7.5 per l'acqua di rubinetto) tanto non ci sono sali disciolti da assorbire. Tra pochi giorni ci sarà la raccolta, sarà un'impresa pulire tutte quelle cime... PS le foto scattate il giorno 66 sono state fatte con un altro telefono

One was more bushy and was a little behind. As I said, they had some heat stress and I think the 15-liter pots are too small when the environment is hotter. Still, they are totally worth growing and joy to smoke. They don't need much curing and the weed is very very strong. Going to try this strain again very soon!!

Blackberry moonrocks the leaves on both the seedlings have a very distinct look definitely different than the average leaf really pointy and 1 of the 2 seedlings sits praying 100% of the day. I think that one is really going to be a winner. Last grow I overwatered and had to toss them because growth got stunted and a bunch if fungus knats got to the soil. This time I'm trying promix potting soil wish I had tried promix hp but the store close by isn't a hudro store and that's what they had. So this time I'm being very cautious with the watering I'm only useing a spray bottle I'm currently giving 45 spray per solo cup every few days when it dries out. This promix soil seems to hold water decent so the 45 spray there is 0 water coming out the bottom the cup yet. Here soon I think I'm going to double the amount of spray to 90 and start letting the soil get dry dry before watering again. Probably will hold off on any nutes quite yet. I'm going from 24/0 to 20/4 light schedule this week. There getting to the point they won't strech as much is 4 hrs of darkness and I'm rasing the light intensity a little it's been around 150 I'm upping it to around 175. Most likely by the end of the week I'll probably be pushing 200 or close. Hopefully I can get them into the big tent soon At this stage I like to alternate having the fan blowing on them I feel it gives them time to recover and get stronger instead of wind stress. Also every few days I will turn the plants so they are facing away from the light making them grow back towards the light I fell it makes them stronger
