DRYING TIME

4/27 Day 1 of flower. Both are showing white pistil hairs so I’ll start counting flower as of today. They were getting pretty bushy so I went and did some defoliation and reworked them into the trellis net. I did accidentally supercrop one of the tops while doing that so hopefully it isn’t too much stress to cause a herm. Light at the highest point is now 630 PAR / 27.2 DLI. 5/3 Day 7 of flower. With the humidity getting much higher with spring here I decided to do another round of defoliation to keep things airy and spaced out. The fungus gnats are back in numbers so I’m trying a new approach with the sticky pads. I’m covering the entire top part of the pots to hopefully prevent them from going anywhere. Even if it doesn’t completely wipe them out it should at least keep them away from the buds as they start forming.

Last week I got myself a humidifier. So right now my grow tent is 60/60/160 and features a Spider Farmer 2000, which is kinda oversized, but still works in there despite what other people told me - but who knows, maybe I’ll learn my lesson later on. There’s a small exhaust fan and a regular fan without oscillation + the humidifier. I also put in a young vegging chili plant I got from a coworker - it’ll be put outside eventually tho. 05/21: Starting week 5 and my plant is looking very bushy. She has gained some height in the past few days and I hope that’ll continue a bit. Can’t wait to see her flower. 05/22: She grew a bit since yesterday - especially sideways. Her newest leaves have yellow tips, which I suspect is due to me moving the light down to experiment - my mistake. I hope that’s what it is and that the next set of leaves won’t suffer. 05/23: Not much to say - she’s looking lush and nice to me! Since the beginning of this week she’s grown to 23cm height, so 5cms in a couple of days. 05/24: Found some down-clawing leaves today and some people suggest it can have something to do with air circulation. I only spotted two leaves doing this and I hope it’ll stay like that 😬 05/25: Haven’t had much time to look at my plant today, but my wife sent me a nice picture of her. She seems to be doing fine! 05/26: I think she’s started to flower? So that’s pretty cool. I also removed some of the lower branches, since I felt like she was too bushy for me. I like how she looks now. 05/27: I’m so happy with how she looks. She does have some burnt edges on her leaves - but she’s had that since she was born, so I’m starting to be less worried about that and just let her do her thing. I think defoliation was a good decision. She is also flowering now - it took me a little bit to realize... I thought the leaves were just looking super strange.

Starting off week 6 of flower with a bang, girls are healthy and happy. Little foiler feed this week and a full res change with fresh nuts though push them through before the last week which will be flush week.

Week 6 Notes & Observations: P1 is showing signs of issues. Not sure if it’s from the drying out (boron deficit) or from the mites. Wither way hopefully I am covering the situation by both feeding and treating against the mites with spinosad. P2 however is showing a better recovery from the break and seems to be on tack with new growth and training. With all 8 colas now set I just train to finish veg around new year’s day. The next two weeks will just be set up for that ***Update*** P2 lost a cola in training apparently. Upon check up today I noticed that all of the colas were aiming up except for one on the 'good' side, then I noticed that was because it had snapped in training or in the next day turn towards the light... learning a lot with this plant... VPD and PPFD: This week I will hold the humidity in the tent to about 70-75% and temps will be monitored for 70- 75F daytime and 66-71F overnight. Im adjusting my lights and look to control them at ~500ppfd max. Meaning slight increase over last week but mostly just growth increase but will also place on higher supports to increase PPFD to desired levels. Feed & Monitor: ***All feeds with nutes use either a whole ratio or combination of "Veg Mix" and "Bloom Mix" concentrates DILUTED in water until a total ppm of add-in is reached using a (Total Dissolved Solids) TDS Meter measured in PPM (parts per million). The "Veg Mix" concentrate will eventually be added in smaller ratios and "Bloom Mix" concentrate will eventually replace the "Veg Mix" concentrate entirely. The ppm and ratios of each feed will be listed when I feed. Veg mix recipe is on week 2. Bloom Mix recipe is on week 5.*** Day 49 (last feed was day 44) Tested and Calibrated my ph pens. Starting weight from each pot was 18 lbs and 8 oz, this time P1 weighed 12lbs 7oz. and P2 weighed 13lbs 3oz before feed (both plants weighed 11lbs 2oz before last feed). Each plant got 1.33 gallons of purified water with 9:1 ratio of Veg/Bloom Mix concentrates - 356ppm Veg Mix (recipe on week 2) and 44ppm Bloom Mix (recipe on week 5) with 1.5ml of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) . The ph on this feed was balanced to 6.3ph. After feed this time, P1 weighed 20lbs 5oz and P2 also weighed 20lbs 5oz (both weighed 19lbs 2oz after last feed). I got about 6 cups of runoff on P1 and 8 cups on P2 this time (both plants gave up 8 cups of runoff last feed). Runoff for P1 ph was 6.4 with 758ppm (6.3 with 906ppm last feed) and P2 was 6.45 with 729ppm (6.4 with 814ppm last feed). Top soil tested at: P1 6.34,6.31,6.35,6.33 for an avg of 6.33 (6.24 avg after last feed) and P2 tested at 6.34,6.32,6.35,6.30 avg 6.33 (6.37avg after last feed) - next feed will be 1.5 gallons of de-chlorinated water and 6.3ph as Im liking where the ph is now and I dont see any issues from feed or training. Day 55 (last feed was day 49) Tested and Calibrated my ph pens. Starting weight from each pot was 18 lbs and 8 oz, this time P1 weighed 12lbs 10oz. (12lbs 7oz before last feed) and P2 weighed 11lbs 8oz before feed (13lbs oz before last feed). Each plant got 1.5 gallons of de-chlorinated water with 9:1 ratio of Veg/Bloom Mix concentrates - 355ppm Veg Mix (recipe on week 2) and 64ppm Bloom Mix (recipe on week 5) with 1.5ml of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) . The ph on this feed was balanced to 6.25ph. After feed this time, P1 weighed 20lbs 9oz and P2 also weighed 20lbs 9oz (both weighed 20lbs 5oz after last feed). I got ~8 cups of runoff on P1 and 8 cups on P2 this time (6 cups of runoff on P1 and 8 cups on P2 after last feed). Runoff for P1 ph was 6.36 with 1110ppm (6.4 with 758ppm last feed) and P2 was 6.35 with 1170ppm (6.45 with 729ppm last feed). Top soil tested at: P1 6.22,6.17,6.21,6.26 for an avg of 6.215 (6.33 avg after last feed) and P2 tested at 6.19,6.17,6.16,6.12 avg 6.16 (6.33avg after last feed) - next feed will be 1.5 gallons of de-chlorinated water and 6.5ph as I rather see top soil higher after a feed and almost match the runoff - I dont see any issues from feed or training.

Die Pflanze wurde letzte Woche noch getoppt und entwickelt aktuell ein homogener aussehendes Wuchsbild. Ich lasse sie jedoch noch etwas im Wachstum, da sie ruhig nochmal an höhe und Breite gewinnen darf. 9/7 Day 7 Things are ok watching Jen closely and dropping PH slowly from 6.8 to 6.0 by the gauge (no more dye... yea) to see if its a lockout. Lowered lights to 24 inches as I am seeing a bit of stretch. Just learning how to use the light in absence of anything approaching instruction :) Folks I like this light, so far... awwwwright Transplant time coming up in a week or so, be getting the pots ready with a full wash of nuets just to get things rolling in the soil. 9/11 D11 Transplanted to five gal pots, soil is mix of 707 with 1 tbs Recharge , 3 tbs Dolimite lime, and 5 tbs Happy Frog Guano Culture , Watered with feed of Kanga/Fish Mix/Big Bloom 0.5 gal each Staying on 24 hr lights till end of week 9/14 D14 Finishing the week up with a feeding Fish Mix 1 tsp/gal Big Bloom 1 Tbs/gal for 2.0 liters Lights now on same timer as the CBD - 20-4

This plant shot up out of no where and is definitely gonna keep getting taller. I dont think ill do any training on this plant since it seems kinda short want it to get really stocky. The smell is already appearing which is way cool at 4 weeks i think thats impressive. Probably has to do with the sweet candy nutrients.anyway happy with the progress hopefully things stay great

Big growth this week. Still in a heat wave. Had to move the driver for the lights outside of the tent to help with the heat.also moved tent to a cooler location. As i dont have the room in my house to grow so my choices are the garage or my 10x10 shed. I chose the shed because of the trees that shade it during the day. The zkittlez seems to handle it no problem but my others aren't .

Short week due to harvest. Plant started to smell a little less, hope I did not loose that taste because the harvest ain't gonna be much. Values are average of the day. * ***************** Week 2 of Growth From Seed, April 18 to 25, 2020 - Days 8 to 14 from germination ********************** * Getting rolling on week 2. Not a surprise for me that she is doing very well. I seem to match well with the traits in Sweet Seeds selections. She is wide and will squeeze out her third set of leaves this week and hopefully working on her fourth set......time will tell🤞She is also getting more green at the start of the week so its time for some plain water as well. The medium has had little to no runoff so far so the ppm will be building and likely pH adjusting slightly,. Switch CalMag this week and going with GH as it has a 1% value for Nitrogen. Will be increasing the CalMag now as well. Will be getting ppm in the 500 range more this week. May start to introduce Sensyzime at the end of the week. Keep moving the lights up and down trying to dial in between 18” and 30” and see how they react. Seems to be about 28” right now they are happy. Playing with the VPD and finding that they are not as happy with the VPD up around 1.0 and rather happier around 1.4??? Happier meaning tips and looking like she is getting bigger. Played with humidity this weekend as well between 52% and 75%. Again, they seem happiest around 58%..........going to try that for a couple of days and see how they grow for the next few days. I feel they are alrighty slower at the high humidity. Not backing away for this but rather trying to read the girls🤪🤪🤪🤪 *****Daily Detail: Apr 18, Day 9 - VPD - 1.1 - 2L feed with Vitathrive and Velokelp and Dual Fuel @ 0.75ml/L, CaMg+ @ 0.75ml/L = 575ppm, 5.8pH. - playing with humidity up and down today. - ready for a plain water feed and a little larger quantity to soak all the medium. - not sure if tomorrow though.......might be a little wet yet in the medium. - she is doing very well. She has gotten taller and seems very energetic right now😀👍 Apr 19, Day 9 - VPD - 1.3 - 2L watering today with CaMg and Sensyzime @ 1ml/L each. 240ppm with 5.9pH. - Had more runoff, that was the goal. Didn't bother to measure this though. - Just trying to bring the medium pH in line and reduce some of the ppm. - Things just aren't progressing as I think they should. Apr 20, Day 10 - VPD 1.5 - dry out day - lower humidity in tent to 55% Apr 21, Day 11 - VPD 1.5 - dry out day, again. Humidity kept low. - Added home made CO2 to the tent today. - 3.5" tall only. - this girl is doing the best in the tent right now. She has handled the over feeding the best of them. Apr 22, Day 12 - VPD 1.4 - Dry out day yet again but now raising the humidity back to 65%. - tips back up today. Apr 23, Day 13 - VPD 1.4 - 0.5L - P & V & Vitathrive @ 1ml/L, DF & CalMag@ 0.5ml/L = 410ppm and 5.9pH - primarily calmag and something for roots. - She has some wide leaves and doing well. She has just been slowed down....crap. Apr 24, Day 14 - VPD 1.4 - 0.5L - Voodoo and Piranha and VeloKelp @ 2ml/L = 180ppm pH'd to 5.6 - tough week.......she battled over watering as a result of some over feeding last week.
