Que pasa familia, vamos con la novena semana de floración de estas Rainbow Melón feminizadas de fastbuds. Vamos al lío, de las 3 plantas, me quede con 2 por espacio, siempre pongo alguna semilla de más por si no abriese alguna por no perder ese hueco del indoor. También se trasplantaron a su maceta definitiva, en este caso de 7 litros que además provocó un shock que también solucione. El ph se controla en 6.2 , la temperatura la tenemos entre 20/24 grados y la humedad ronda el 50%. Las flores están bien prietas y resinosas, sacan unos aromas muy fuertes que no logro describir así, está acabando de madurar, los tonos que se marca son increíbles, no veas como se han puesto. Hasta aquí todo, Buenos humos 💨💨💨

Going well

I guess the correct headline here is bud rot. Took a while to figure out why I ran into these issues, after a bit more snooping around and investigating I came to a mostly certain conclusion. My passive intake was clogged with dust, barely any air was coming into the grow room. This, coupled with the fact my temperature and RH sensor/recorder was giving me back dated information and applying it to the present day. I didn’t realise I was getting 80%+ RH spikes during lights out for the last 3 weeks. I’ll call it a lesson, and start to check things more regularly around the grow room, not just the plants themselves. After a heavy crop scout with sterilised gloves and alcohol rub to hand, I carefully pulled back and inspected every cola, washing my hands between each cola. Unfortunately most of the largest colas fell victim to botrytis, in the end I cut off 7 colas completely and carefully sorted through into 3 separate piles on D100. One pile was the bin put into double tied sandwich bags with a good spray with 70% alcohol , this contained directly infected areas with a 5cm radius. (235g including fan leaves and stems (wet)) The second pile was for buds that were within 10cm of the rot sites that appeared to be healthy, this went into a brown paper bag, ready for hash making when I complete the harvest in the next couple weeks. (305g including buds and sugar leaves (wet)) The third, and most limited pile was bud sites that were more than 10cm away from the rot sites. These are now successfully dried and are now in their curing jars. Based on the smell, they already smell better than my last harvest so I’m hoping it’s a sign of things to come. (58g buds (dry)) I had to buy a 4x4 tent to temporarily dry the good buds, and will use again when I do the main harvest. The top colas that are left look a little stressed this week, not sure if it’s to do with shock from early harvest, but I am going in and checking every other day with clean clothes to make sure the problems are not progressing further. Based on the trichomes (video) the samples look like they’re a week or two away from harvest now, so hopefully I won’t have the throw anymore away before then. Anyway, waffling over, mainly wanted the detail for my own reference if I ever have to come back to this (I hope not). Good luck all!

Dia 32: agregamos mas sustrato a cada planta y realizamos poda de hojas bajas y nudos mas desfavorable Dia 35: agregamos la primera dosis de blossom blaster pro. 6 ml en 6 litro de agua, aplicamos 500ml a cada planta. Dia 37: aplicamos 500ml de agua por planta. Dia 38: sesión de fotos a todos los ejemplares de este cultivo y rotación de las plantas dentro de la carpa, todos los dias hago estos movimientos para que todas capten la misma luminosidad y el sustrato se seque mas parejo. Dia 39: aplicaremos monster bloom en el cultivo, la solución será de 1.8g (ya que es en polvo) en 6 litros de agua

Loving the look and bid formation. Seeing the difference in how my Gelato cake had previously budded and this is a way different experience lollipopping and mainline attempt definitely change the bud arrangement the smells are so wonderful. And now to see them lineup and stack they way are with only another 4 days til I stop everything but purpinator for another 4 days then force them to drink up last remainder of what's left in the coco during a 3 day dry spell and finally flushing before harvest.

This week has been really hard. Until this week the electricity was turned off on average once every two days, for 4 hours in the evening peak time. But the last 7 days the electricity is turned off twice or thrice a day also for 4 hours. I think that in this case it is better to reduce the light day and slowly started to reduce it at the beginning of flowering, and already reduced it from 18 to 16 hours, and that was a bad idea (((: The temperature outside was already around 30 degrees in the shade, and it rained almost every evening, as a result, the air humidity up to 65-70% so it was impossible to leave the girls in a closed box without a working fan. I had to cover the windows and work with my hands waving a piece of cardboard)))), adding back 30 minutes of evening sun outside the window each day. Same story since morning, but this more positive, we meet the morning sun, and move around the whole apartment behind the light frame of the window, running away from the shadow))) the main thing is that the morning is sunny, because will have to continue working with a piece of cardboard until the light is turned on (((: Also, as you can see in the first photo, I installed a large fan and removed the lower wall of the box, because the ventilation system did not help ((: Looks crazy but I already like it, new challenges and new experiences all the time, big plus a good habit to wake up at dawn! So no matter what, we are happy and breathe deeper 🙏

Week 13 – Ripening is now progressing slowly, as I had expected, due to my choice to provide a light stimulus that isn’t too intense but rather gentler. From flowering until now I’ve maintained 30 DLI and a steady 470 PAR. In this run, the goal has been to keep the resin thick and sticky. Humidity has been kept between 57–62% max. My lamp is an Omega Pro 300W, which I’m currently running 37% (111 W). This strategy seems to be working well: resin production has been abundant, and on this point—and not only this one—I’ve completely fallen in love with Gorilla Cookies. The aroma is exquisite, and the resin… the flowers are covered in ointment-like resin. The macro shots of the trichomes still don’t show any amber heads, so I believe harvest is probably about 10–15 days away. 🍮🤤 I think I’ll grow only Gorilla in the next run! 🦍👀 P.SThe leaf discoloration happened very quickly! Guys, I did it! I managed to get to the end of my grow with no problems and a whopping dry weight of 189 grams (6.6 oz). I am over the moon with the outcome, especially considering this was my first time. The buds have been curing for 12 days now, breaking down extra chlorophyll for a smoother smoke. The aromas are subtle when putting your nose in the jars—nothing crazy—but when you break into a bud, it smells absolutely amazing. It has an aroma almost like Stardog, with a diesel, piney, and gassy scent. As for the taste, the buds are just as impressive! They taste exactly how they smell: diesel, piney, and gassy, much like a Stardog. The effect is incredible; it numbed my whole body and put me in a couch lock state. This strain is probably not the best for daytime smoking due to its potent, body-numbing effect. I can't wait to continue this journey with my next grow!

I feel the light being only 100w has contributed to some of the extra stretching between the nodes and this would not have happened under brighter settings. Added in some bokashi grain to the medium to help breakdown anything that maybe unavailable to the plants. everything is on course for success. in this past week I have defoliated the plants about 40% I have lost some leaves which have turned yellow I think the plants lack nitrogen due to the stretch the buds started to smell good. for nitrogen I add coffee grounds to keep away the pests and it is rich in nitrogen. the hardest part is fighting the humidity it’s been raining for a week 😭 humidity is the worst enemy I much prefer heat. see you soon
