Grow Diary – Day 88 (Flowering Day 68) Strain: Sour Frootz by Karma Genetics Plants: 4 clones Training: HST + SCROG Nutrients: Green House Feeding Bio Line – finished Lighting: LED at 50% (final phase) Date: June 8 Status: Harvest Day After 68 days of flowering and 88 days total, the Sour Frootz have reached full maturity. Today marked harvest day. Trichome Check: A final inspection confirmed the ideal moment—mostly cloudy trichomes with 10% amber, delivering the perfect mix of potency, flavor, and effect for me. Buds are fully resinous, and carry an intensely rich aroma: sour fruit, citrus, and that underlying gassy funk Sour Frootz is known for. Harvest Process: • Whole-plant harvested • Plants were cut at the base, intact, and hung upside down • Leaves were left on for a slow dry to protect terpene profile and promote even moisture loss • Drying environment set to ~17–19 °C with 50–60% RH • Complete darkness and steady airflow maintained This method should allow for a 7–14 day dry, depending on bud density and ambient conditions. Hey now, I hope everyone is having a great week. It was a good week again for the 5 mainlines, I did some final LST to try and keep the mains level, and I also defoliated the lower leaves to improve the air flow. I am still feeding the same veg nutrients which is just amor si, cal mag, and maxi grow. I will start transitioning to flower nutrients tomorrow and I will gradually switch over to all over flower nutrients by the end of the week. The ladies are about 24" inches tall, but I do anticipate them growing some more before the stretch ends. I am pretty much done with LST at this point, I will just continue to defoliate as necessary and make sure they are enjoying their environment. Still very happy with the Spectrum X from Medic Grow. I am running her at 69% and the plants seem very happy and healthy. The heat and humidity are finally letting up in my region so it is nice to be able to open some windows and drop the temp outside the grow tent. Another slow week. I increased light schedule to 13/11. I’m going to slowly lower the time of light until by the time harvest day comes it’ll have a longer dark period. I’m also going to stop feeding the bottle nutrients my soil is moist still so I gotta wait. I’m predicting a couple ounces this grow.

Final 2 weeks what a frosty beast

No fertilizer this week. I harvested the Apricot and the Pound Cake. I will wait one more week for the Orange Sherbet because it doesn't seem ready even if it's in the Fast Buds harvest range. This week should be the last "flowering" week, next ones will be the harvests. I don't want to add another flowering week just for the Orange Sherbet, there will be nothing to see that will not be included in the harvest. During half of the grow, the weather was really bad, especially for the summer period. The worst weather was during the vegetative phase. The plants didn't receive enough light which resulted in poor roots and leaves development. Because of that, the plants didn't have the chance to grow nice buds even if the sun was there during most of the flowering phase. Last summer, I grew a Tropicana Cookies (also from Fast Buds) in a tiny pot at the exact same spot and had better results despite the smaller pot. I didn't record the sun for that year but the weather was better from what I remember. I'm disapointed by the weather but cannot blame the plants. You cannot expect beautiful plants and buds if they don't have light 😞 In the end, my summer grows are more like bonus grows (my main grows are under a light in the winter) and I make them just for fun and to be able to taste new weeds without too much investment. They finally started stretching a bit. Had me worried that they would be forever stunted.

Last week before flowering 😊😄😝 The plants did an excellent job last week. The repotting to the large pots has done them well. 👍 I have watered the plants 3 times now. First two times 5 liters of water, containing 1 tablet of RQS Easy Grow Booster. The third time 1.5 tablet for 5 liters of water. Mind ! It takes a while before the tablets are dissolved! 😹 The color of the new leaves is beautifully green. The VPD is now also perfect most of the time with a value of 1.0 👌 For that I had to increase the relative humidity to almost 70%. 😭 I attached the larger plants to the plantsticks with a plastic binding strip. In this way I pull the plants to the same height as the smaller plants. Hopefully this results in a nice flat canopy. The lower branches may develop faster now, but I will remove them later. 👽 The plants now get 18 hours of light instead of 24 hours, so the shock is a little less when they go to 12/12. 🙏

Happy 4.20 The limited edition strain Orange Skunk Ryder looks really stealthy but smells really danky weather is good, so this stinky stealth plant can have a good time only organic untill next week i'll start adding mineral nutrients a couple times a week.

During week 13 I stop giving any nutrients in order to FLUSH the plants. The 12 AK-47 plants from SERIOUS SEEDS are in their last week of flowering (=9th week) and have developed into huge little trees. The size of the colas is ASTOUNDING to me at this stage, bigger than anything I have seen on plants in 7 liter pots. Unfortunately I see first signs of bud-rot on some plants, therefore its time to soon harvest the plants. The humidity during the late stages of flowering has been much too high due to bad weather outside. The high humidity with the huge size of the buds are the perfect circumstances for bud-rot beginning to grow INSIDE the buds (it always starts at the stem and grows to the outside). I spot a yellow sugar leave on a top and pull it out, since I feel no resistance at all, I take a closer look and open up the bud carefully. I spot grey mold at the center of the bud growing out of the stem and want to start to cry...my worst fear has come true...BUD-ROT is inside my beautiful plants! The only thing to do now is to cut off any infected parts and finish the grow as quickly as possible. The SANlight Q5W-Gen.2 LED-lights are still in full-power mode and some plants now show signs of light-bleaching at the very top of the plants. This means the plants grow white new flowers instead of green ones. The plants look like they have small snow-caps on top of the plants...an AMAZING THING to see. This can be avoided by dimming the LEDs during the last week of flowering or by hanging the LEDs higher. The white parts of the bud have the same quality as the rest, therefore i dont mind a little light-bleaching. What makes my heart hurt is the parts with bud-rot. Since mold can cause cancer when burned and inhaled, it is of utmost importance to cut off any infected parts off the plants when they are harvested. This means I will get much less medicine that I hoped...😢 At least the quality will be GREAT, since the buds are glistening with trichomes now and they SMELL AMAZING. The aroma is heavy and thick and lightly sweet with hints of Sandalwood...simply DELICIOUS!

Day 22 - Covered a lot of stuff of last night on my last comment for week 3. Added a few time lapses of the last week of grow. Took a few top leaves of the girls (4 each) to allow more light to potential bud sites; Basically where 1 fan leaf was covering 2 or more potential flower sites. Don't think I will top any more as getting a nice even canopy as it is, plenty of nodes showing Now have a humidifier in there and strengthening the feeding regimen & adding Sensizym and Fulvic Acid to the mix. Removed the flood stakes too as they were inconsistent...now just have the feed pipes going straight over the roots EC now @ 1.3 (CF13, TDS 650/500ppm, 910/700ppm scale). Will keep an eye on them as not too sure if they're sensitive to feed or the Temp/Humidity issues I was having allowed them to nute burn by closing down stomata. Also gave them a dusting with Neem oil as I cant open the tent for Daddy Long Legs (Crane Flies) or Midges flying in!!!

Getting a little sticky and stinky. She took the lower branch removal well and has continued in her stretch.
